House holiday rentals in Tavira

The villa is absolutely beautiful and everything has been thought about. It was so great to have two terraces - the main terrace on the ground floor is beautifully designed and gets the sun for most of the day, and the roof terrace is great for more privacy and to catch the evening sun with some stunning views! The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds are really comfy and the house was spotlessly clean! Gisela was an extremely kind and responsive host to answer any questions we had. Its about a 20 minute walk into the town, in a really peacful neighborhood, which was perfect for us. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we would definitely recommend! ❤️

The apartment is well set up for a family and is in a beautiful location. We loved the pool!

Fabulous in all respects: Carla, (her communications, help, humour and charm), the Villa, (comfort, facilities and cleanliness), the area, (quiet, peaceful, relaxing and an easy walk into town) and Tavira, (restaurants, bars, the boat trip to the island and chilled atmosphere). We’ll be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at casa do vale! The villa is stunning, very spacious and stylish. We were 6 adults and a baby and had everything we needed! Perfect that there are 3 bathrooms and we loved the outdoor shower! Kitchen was very well stocked and great to have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The pool is amazing though could do with another umbrella for a bit of extra shade when it’s very hot. The gardens around the villa are also so lovely. Feels very private and peaceful. There is a small shop a 5 minute walk away which is excellent for topping up on essentials. Bigger shops and bars/ restaurants are only a short drive away. Very easy to get Ubers into Tavira and Olhão also. Overall had an excellent holiday staying at Michelle’s place - would highly recommend!

Casa Azul is the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. The house was immaculately clean and the furniture, fixtures and fittings were very comfortable and to a high standard. The kitchen was well equipped. we loved the garden and the pool, and enjoyed the balcony for the evening sun . Natalie was a great host, very responsive and her recommendations were accurate. Tavira is a beautiful town and we enjoyed exploring the streets. We hope to stay again at some point.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach wunderbar – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Die Kommunikation mit Peter war hervorragend, er war jederzeit erreichbar, hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen und tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet – alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Besonders gefallen hat uns der große Garten, der viel Privatsphäre bietet, sowie der Pool, der perfekt zur Abkühlung einlädt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! Wonderful property, with lots of privacy. It felt like a home away from home and was very conveniently located, walking distance from the ferry, restaurants and cafes as well as the grocery store. The kitchen was very well stocked and organized, allowing us to fix our own meals when we got tired of eating out. The host was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Nuno en Ana zijn geweldig vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheren. Het huis is voorzien van alle ( en nog meer) gemakken; echt alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Wij hebben genoten van het huis, de tuin en de locatie!!!

We enjoyed 3 nights in this amazing 3 storey house, full of character, fabulous location, with a sun roof terrace where we enjoyed our G & T's!

Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche im Haus von Filipa und Paulo. Wir waren als kleine Familie zu Besuch und empfehlen es jedem weiter. Unser Baby hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt und hatte viel zu erkunden im Haus. Für uns erwachsene war es schön Abends in der ruhigen Gegen zusammenzusitzen und den Tag ausklingen zu lassen.

Muy cómodo. Tal y como se describe no tiene cocina pero cuenta con tostador, hervidor y menaje de cocina, además de escurridor. Tenemos dos pequeños y han estado encantados. Tiago muy atento y amable.

We hebben genoten van ons korte verblijf in Casa Boa Vista. Het weer was voor februari geweldig, dus we hebben zelfs gebruik kunnen maken van het zwembad. De prachtige uitzichten doen de naam van het huis zeker eer aan! De communicatie met Gabriele en de beheerders verliep vlekkeloos. Zeer vriendelijk en altijd bereikbaar. Dank je wel dat we in jouw mooie huis mochten verblijven Gabriele. We hopen er in de toekomst graag nog eens terug te keren.

Ein wunderbares Häuschen, sehr schön eingerichtet, wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt. Der Gastgeber ist äußerst hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und war jederzeit erreichbar. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, diese Unterkunft ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

We loved every minute of our stay at Paula's house, it was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need, she has thought of everything,The house is decorated with a lovely charm,we especially love the balcony for relaxing in the evening and the location is perfect , close to train station shops and lovely restaurants, everything is on your doorstep,a very short few minutes into the centre, lovely french bakery on the corner and only a couple of mins for the ferry.. Tavira is a beautiful Authentic town with lots of charm and charter, we plan to visit again , thank you Paula for a lovely stay.

très agréablement surpris par cette très belle prestation dans un endroit très clame et le jardin admirablement arboré. le calme et la quiétude nous ont permis de bien nous reposer pendant les deux semaines. les visites conseillées par Adélia nous ont ravis, notre première escapade au Portugal est à marquée d'une pierre blanche. encore un grand merci pour la confiance d'Adélia qui nous a permis de rendre les clés via sa bal sans venir contrôler notre passage.

Amazing place to stay! We stayed for 10 days and it had everything we needed while being very charming and modern. It was in a peaceful neighbourhood but also a perfect 5min walking distance from the main part of Tavira through tiny cobbled streets. The balcony got brilliant sun from 11-7 but there's also a very effective umbrella that you can use if you want. The air conditioning inside was also greatly appreciated! 10/10 highly recommend - gorgeous restaurants nearby and 10 mins from the ferry that brings you to the beach.

Já é a segunda vez que ficamos nesta casa, é mesmo muito gira, confortável e funcional. Óptimas de zonas exteriores de estadia, ideais para se estar e aproveitar a vida ao ar livre, zona da piscina super simpática. Localização ideal. O Frederico foi um anfitrião muito prestável e cuidadoso. Para o ano vamos voltar, sem dúvida!

Villa Mariana is a gem of a place, with the most fabulous and genuine owners that made our stay so welcome and enjoyable. We chatted to them, and enjoyed the stories of years gone by in the real Portugal. We also found out that Jose, Pedro's father, was a very talented artist with drawings and painting going back decades. The big highlight of our stay was the wonderful swimming pool, which we had exclusive use of. Sun loungers and a Gazebo to sit around the pool and have a cold beer or wine were very welcome too. We found that getting from Faro airport to Villa Mariana, was a small challenge, as Uber didn't recognise the address that we got from Pedro. So we took a Taxi to the Lidl supermarket at Sao Bras, where Pedro then picked us up in his car. This worked very well, but if Pedro is not there you will need to have a clear address, and take a taxi. Also, trying to get an Uber from Villa Mariana is impossible, so stick to genuine Taxis that are very good value. We had a great time !!

We had a great stay the house. It was just as described in the listing. Excellent location, a few minutes walk to shops, supermarket and excellent restaurants. Less than 10 minutes leisurely walk through interesting streets to get to the river. Patio on the top floor was the perfect place to spend time with coffee in the morning and drinks in the afternoon and evening. It's a private patio with a great view over the tiled roofs of the town. Place had everything we were looking for, washing machine was quite useful. The house itself looks like a traditional Portuguese building in an older part of town. Very comfortable inside with nice decorations. Place was clean and neat when we arrived. Parking is easy on the nearby streets, we always found parking less than 2 minutes away. Communication was very good, clear instructions. Check-in was straightforward. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Tavira

Where do I begin? The photos do not do it justice. It is gorgeous and just remodeled. Right out of a magazine. The color scheme is peaceful and we were torn from going out to explore and sitting on the roof top terrace relaxing. Wish we could of stayed longer, but we will be back!. So comfortable and beautiful. A perfect little cottage in the old town of Tavira. Close to everything. Thank you Penny for everything!!

Just wow! Rita met us to check us in and contacted us several times to make sure all was well. Any little issues were addressed right away, kindly and professionally. The little house was clean and cozy with great patio to enjoy a glass of wine with a view to the distant sea. We loved everything and Rita is wonderful!!!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Hope to return!

We were greeted by a woman who showed us how to use the TV remotes, pointed out features around the unit, gave us keys and answered questions. The place is located conveniently for using public transportation. Easy walk to the bus and train stations. Full grocery store and the mercado are within easy walking distance and a small convenience store is even closer. Bedroom was comfortable with plenty of linens, living room had a selection of books with throw pillows/blankets for rainy days. The bathroom was clean and larger than expected. We used the kitchen appliances regularly - everything was clean and worked properly. There is a rack for drying clothes on the rooftop terrace. It was very quiet at night. We enjoyed a snack and glass of wine on the rooftop terrace a few times and sipped morning coffee on the lower level patio. It was a pleasant stay and we are happy to recommend this airbnb.
