We had the best stay at Raquel's place in Pedras D'el Rei. The complex the apartment is on is ideal, with a lovely pool and shop and restaurant all on site. The staff at the complex are so helpful! The apartment is clean, bright and really tastefully decorated. The river and beach are stunning and so conveniently located - we felt very "in" the surrounding nature. It was also really easy to get around using uber, from the airport and to local spots like Tavira, if you are just staying for a short while and don't have a car! Raquel was the perfect host, very contactable and helpful. We loved it here and can't wait to be back.

Beautiful traditional Portuguese house. Well located in Cabana. A great village. It's big so some areas should have a face wash. Some quite antique furniture. and a shared garden. The worst were the pillows, very soft and barely stuffed. We were all prevented from getting a good rest.

This place was amazing and Carmen was there to help us during the entire stay. Amazing heated pool and the beer machine was of great help.

Our 7-day stay at Rui and Sofia’s lovely holiday home was a wonderful experience. Very nice and cozy place. Very good communication from Catia on the accomodation process a lot of useful tips what to do around the place. Few minutes walking distance from the ferry to the Fuseta beach, restaurants, shops and supermarket close to the place. Spacious terrace for a nice breakfast, dinner or a night sky and stars watching. Air condition in the bedrooms very useful to cool the bedrooms. Great experience overall.

We had a great vacation in a beautiful house with large pool and garden. Due to the many offers such as the volleyball court, table tennis and billiards, you can't get bored here. Communication was great and everything worked out smoothly. The location of the house is in a very quiet area, on foot there is little to reach but by car you are in a few minutes in the city, on the beach or at the supermarket. Thank you for the great house and the lovely vacation.

It was an amazing, luxurious and beautiful experience. Helena and her family went above and beyond to assist us with absolutely everything. We were treated with kindness and respect. It’s a very calm, safe and relaxing space. Each of us had privacy when we wanted and all coming together at the other end of the spectrum, so many areas we took advantage of. Walking the orchards, gorgeous pool area, dinning inside and out, a fantastic and comfortable seating area out side and inside at night with a warming fire place. A choice of cooking inside or bbq’ing outside. The use of words like ‘fantastic’ ‘fabulous’ describe the compound completely. Enjoy!!!

Very nice stay in a quiet neighbourhood in Cabanas which is a small resort on the Algarve. The apartment is exactly as pictured, supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops are in walking distance. Carolina is a responsive and friendly host, everything was stress free and without any glitches. Many thanks for hosting us!

The moment we arrived we were given a warm welcome from Carla’s mother Fernanda. Fernanda was extremely friendly and gave us a thorough tour of the property. The villa was stunning and the location was beautiful and peaceful with vibrant flowers with many birds swooping around. This is was our first holiday with our 14 month old baby girl and the villa was perfect for us with everything we needed and more. A wonderful cot was supplied and the rooms were very comfortable. The area was quiet with local shops, coffee shop and small restaurants within walking distance.Everything else we needed was just a 15 minute drive away including the town of Tavira. The nearest beach was just a 10 minute drive to a charming train (perfect for the kids) which takes you across the river which separates the beach. Would highly recommend this place for any family’s looking to explore the algarve and we could not be happier guests. Both Carla and Fernanda should be proud hosts.

Teresa's place is a very cozy apartment in the heart of a holiday home complex. It is clean and tastefully decorated, you really feel right at home. Teresa was quick to respond to any questions. The apartment really has everything you could need. From the more than adequately equipped kitchen, to helpful beach accessories to games and sand toys....It's clean and we got fresh towels and linens at half-time even for 14 days stay! The holiday complex is very well maintained, large but still familiar and equipped with everything you need. Pool, restaurants, small supermarket, laundromat... and a reception that can be reached 24/7. The best part of the place is the beautiful swimming beach! There are restaurants, toilets and rentable loungers as well as areas for free loungers. It is reached on foot or with an old stroll! (free). The train was a highlight for our 2 year old and us every day

Our second stay here, the host is very communicative and accommodating, the house is in a wonderful location close to one of the most beautiful beaches with everything you need for a lovely stay. We can’t wait to visit again.

We had a great stay - love that they allowed our dog :) The separation, as others have mentioned, between units is very thin but we were just aware there were others there, it didn't bother us. Great location, will stay again!

This is one of those gems on Airbnb! This place is just wonderful. The whole place feels like you stay inside a tropical garden, and has a lot of places where you can sit and relax. The appartment is very clean and has anything you need and even sharp knives, but also coals for the bbq. Mario even offered to buy some groceries because we arrived late. The location is close to various small villages which makes it ideal to stay. The wifi in the appartment is also really good. As for Mario and the friendly German man who also lives there(we forgot his name), they are very friendly and super helpful if you need anything. We could even pick anything from the garden (onions, tomatos, courgette etc) All in all we would highly recommend! Regards Suzanne & Roderik

We had a great stay. Everything was as described and the place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again if we return to Tavira.

We had a three day stay here in March. Excellent check in with Sue and the wine and water was a nice touch and the heating was on which was a bonus! The house would have been cold without heating on during our stay. Really handy location near to shops and restaurants . Easy to park nearby free of charge. Lovely squares nearby and excellent food and wine - we headed to a few other towns near by and called in to Faro. Really enjoyed the ambiance in Tavira would recommend !! Didn’t do any cooking during the stay.

We absolutely love our stay! Location was 10 min walk to golf course (with golf clubs in the unit to use!) SO many VERY GOOD restaurants within 10 min walk. Waterfront is 25 min walk—even more options!! Loved it so much we are looking to return next year!

Very good experience. The apartment is in a good location and Avelino told us about the typical places and recommended visiting a town next to Tavira and it did not disappoint.

We were greeted by a woman who showed us how to use the TV remotes, pointed out features around the unit, gave us keys and answered questions. The place is located conveniently for using public transportation. Easy walk to the bus and train stations. Full grocery store and the mercado are within easy walking distance and a small convenience store is even closer. Bedroom was comfortable with plenty of linens, living room had a selection of books with throw pillows/blankets for rainy days. The bathroom was clean and larger than expected. We used the kitchen appliances regularly - everything was clean and worked properly. There is a rack for drying clothes on the rooftop terrace. It was very quiet at night. We enjoyed a snack and glass of wine on the rooftop terrace a few times and sipped morning coffee on the lower level patio. It was a pleasant stay and we are happy to recommend this airbnb.
