Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Tavernier

Victor was a lifesaver! When we couldn't get out of the Keys because wildfires had Highway 1 closed down, and there was not a single hotel room left in Key West, I quickly got on airbnb and found this lovely condo had a cancelation for the night. Victor responded very quickly and helped us get checked in for a very comfortable night after a 12-hour day of sitting on the highway in hopes of reaching Miami for our flight. This lovely condo offered us much-needed respite -- we were afraid we were facing hours of driving further back down the Keys only to find no rooms available. I wish we could have hung around and enjoyed more of the lovely grounds at this place!

The house was very cute, clean and comfortable. It was well-equipped for cooking, and had plenty of regular towels plus beach towels. We loved the outdoor space, particularly the screen porch. The hosts were super communicative - we had an issue with the shower head and they came and fixed it right away. Would recommend this spot!

Beautifully maintained, welcoming, peaceful and amazing outdoor entertaining pool area. Home is beautiful and provides enough space to entertain comfortably. Centrally located and wonderful restaurants to choose from. Would highly recommend this property. Maddie was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely rent again.

I’d like to start this review with JoAn is amazing and super responsive. If you need anything, she will ensure that you will get it. This house is the epitome of what you would expect for a Florida keys home. If you’re looking for a house with a lot of character, in a phenomenal location for Atlantic access and fuel, this is the place. We throughly enjoyed our time staying here and will be back next year. The pool was nice to get into after diving every day, there was a fresh water hose on the dock, a freshwater outside shower and even a fish cleaning station. There is a deep freezer for ice and a tiki bar outside with a sink. Couldn’t be any happier with the house or the host. Thanks again JoAn for letting us use your house.

Great place to dock up and go fishing. Host is super responsive, and allowed flexible check in and out times. This was our second visit here, and we really like it. Great home away from home if you have pets, it's fenced in and has doggie turf. Has a gate to keep the pups away from the water.

Norman is a terrific host. Location was great, close to everything. Amenities a plus. Lagoon was great with lots of fish to feed and swim with. Jetty's and surrounding area terrific for fishing, Tarpon, Barracuda, sharks, jacks. many close restaurants. Norman is the best host we have had, very understanding any and all issues. His jokes cant be matched! Thanks Norman for a wonderful experience!

This house is in a good location and the pool is a definite plus. It was fun watching the neighborhood fishermen bringing in their catches. Being from the west we enjoyed the resident iguanas and the manatee in the channel.

Our multi-generational family had a truly memorable stay at this beautifully maintained Key Largo property. The home is spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed to accommodate both large group gatherings and quiet moments of rest. The open layout, generous bedrooms, and fully equipped kitchen made for a seamless and comfortable experience. The private pool was a highlight for all ages—immaculately clean, with pool toys and floaties that kept the children entertained for hours. The outdoor area offered ample space and seating, creating a relaxing atmosphere for everyone. The host, Matvei, was responsive, helpful, and attentive to every request, even providing a crib and child-sized life jackets. Every detail of the home reflected care and quality, and we would recommend it without hesitation to families seeking a welcoming, well-equipped retreat centralized in the Keys.

Key Lime Villa & Newman Hospitality were all around fantastic! We really enjoyed our weeklong stay at this beautiful property! They were a great host, very helpful and easy to deal with, super responsive too. The property itself was just as described, very nice, spacious and squeaky clean, very comfortable, we were able to settle in right away. Being big dog friendly was really nice as well, our boys were very comfortable and really enjoyed the place. We really love the pool and the fire pit area along with the dock area for sunset, it was very peaceful. Also, the location is perfect, it was right in the heart of the island so we were able to do a ton of walking to all of our restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back to stay here again for another trip soon! Thanks again to the team at Newman for making our stay a great one!

Great location, stayed here for a few days with my son and the and as lots to do in the area. The campground itself has everything you need for a comfy stay. Roberto was great at communicating. Will stay here again when I’m in the area!

We enjoyed our stay with our 3 puppies, the place was comfortable, love the outside seating erea. The only thing I would recommend is having the carpet replaced it was very dirty. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice indoor/outdoor living. Convenient outdoor kitchen and fridge allowed us to cook, store, and eat all meals on the patio.

Beautiful home with amazing access to amenities

This was our first time back to the Keys in over 20 years and I could not have picked a better spot. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors friendly. Having our boat just outside the door for a quick boat ride or heading out for a day of fishing was extremely convenient. There is electricity and water at the dock which was great for charging the battery. We had a sweet manatee come visit us one morning which everyone loved. The house is beautifully decorated and makes you feel like you are on vacation. The couch, beds, and pillow were so comfortable it was easy to fall asleep and hit the snooze button in the morning. My favorite spot, however, was the wide, breezy veranda where we all spent time reading and watching the boats go by. To top it off we had our own private pool to lounge in after an excursion on the water. We will definitely book here again for our next stay!

Nice, quiet place in Key Largo with quick access to the marina area, park/jetty area: great placw to catch a sunset as well. We used the gas grill, plus this huge ice machine. Kayaks and golf cart were a plus to the local pool and lagoon.

Anna’s condo was perfect for our family of six: safe and private neighborhood, well equipped for activities such as fishing, kayaking, and snorkeling. Access to the lagoon is perfect and we were able to watch both sunsets and sunrises out from the pier. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Kitchen was well equipped too and it felt like we were right at home.

A Perfect Stay! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described—if not better. The host was communicative, kind, and clearly dedicated to making sure guests feel at home. We had an amazing time i highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. Manatees playing in the canal every day. Great patio space to sit and relax at the water. Great location to go boating in the Bay. Only 7 miles to North Nest Key where the water is turquoise blue and shallow sandy area to get into the water. Even closer to Playa Largo if you life floating on a raft in deeper waters. House is adorable with a built in wine refrigerator and two refrigerated drawers. Really came in handy. Nicely equipped. Although it could use a couple more cereal/salad bowls and an extra bowl or two for mixing/serving. Biggest downside is the property is on a narrow corner with limited visibility and the front yard which has two gates can’t be used as a circular drive because of bushes. It was tricky getting our small 11’ boat in and out, but we managed. But this is not something that would prevent us from returning. June was great to work with. Very responsive. She even took the time to check on us a couple of days after.

We had a great week at this Airbnb! The house was super clean and exactly as described, with no surprises. The extra touches like coffee and soap were really nice and made our stay even more comfortable. The location is amazing. We loved watching sharks swim past the back of the house while fishing - such a cool experience! The beds were really comfy, and everything in the house was in great shape. But the best part was the magical backyard and garden. It was so beautiful and peaceful, a perfect retreat that we really enjoyed. Thanks for providing such a great place to stay. We can't wait to come back!

Our stay in Key Largo was absolutely perfect! We were staying at another unit and decided to extend our vacation and were lucky enough to have Phil's unit available. The unit itself was amazing — spotlessly clean, cozy and well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. We especially loved amazing water views from both the screened-in balcony and patio - which was perfect for our wine nights and morning coffee. The community was just as impressive, with 2 pools, a peaceful saltwater lagoon where you can kayak, and a lovely beach area by the pier complete with chairs and tiki umbrellas. If you're considering booking — do it! This spot is a hidden gem and probably one of the best stays we've had in the Keys. You won’t be disappointed!

Robert’s home was perfect for our visit to Key Largo. We enjoyed the cozy outdoor area immensely. It’s very comfortable and we saw manatees in the canal nearly every day and bottle-nosed dolphins a couple of times. The inside of the home was spotless when we arrived, well stocked, and the beds are super comfortable. The house is conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores, parks and shopping. The neighborhood is extremely peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Awesome house- stocked with absolutely everything you’ll need… also, in a great location with a very comfortable dock for our boat! Will be back for sure.

Very nice townhouse, it was also really convenient to call the golf cart and go to the larger resort, which was beautiful.
