We would love to welcome you to our unique John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). The New Zealand Architect, John Scott, was an eccentric chap and was renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the air bnb community. A self contained wing of our home is located in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We are a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront.

Newly decorated, studio unit, situated close to Taupo town, walking distance to shops & restaurants. Fully fenced, with off street parking. A lockable space for 2 pushbikes. Private & self-contained, our studio is cozy when you want to stay in, and easy to come back to when you've been out sightseeing or at the Lake or hot pools. The heat pump & double glazed windows will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. There's everything you need here for a great stay in our lovely town.

Our modern home is 15 minutes drive from Taupo but still feels like a secret hideaway. It is quiet and private with majestic views of Lake Taupo and Mount Ruapehu - the sunsets are stunning. Perfect for a getaway all year round with outdoor areas and BBQ, large windows and an indoor, double-sided fireplace. We are 5 minutes from the very beautiful Whakaipo Bay, a quiet spot to walk or have a swim. You can also enjoy plenty of bush walks around the area. Hairdryer/toiletries/iron not provided

Converted woolshed, set on a small farm of 25 hectares. We have cows and horses. We are 15 min from Taupo town. The Woolshed is separate from our home, giving you privacy during your stay. From the deck area/French doors all you will see is farmland! We are directly off SH1, down a long drive way, making this a great location for those wanting a place to stay during a road trip, but also quiet and peaceful if you want a few days away!

Hi Belinda and Andy We had an amazing stay! The ambiance of the place was perfect – calm, cozy, and beautifully arranged. Everything was so well-kept and thoughtfully set up. The view was absolutely stunning and made the experience even more special. We all had a great time and truly enjoyed every moment. The welcome card from you was such an unexpected and thoughtful touch – it really made us feel warmly welcomed, and we were so happy to see it. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We had a great stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect base while visiting friends in the area. The neighbourhood was quiet but still had plenty for the kids to do. Check in was super easy and we arrived to a nice warm home with the lights on for us! We loved our stay at Karen’s!
