I booked this house for my sisters who were coming down for the holidays, and it was absolutely perfect! Spacious, homey, and beautifully decorated — exactly like the pictures, if not better. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The host was fantastic: responsive, quick to answer any questions, and made sure everything was just right for their stay. My sisters didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this place especially for a group!

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

A beautiful property in Cape Town with breath taking view. Kirstin and Werner were very friendly and responsive and made us welcome. Definitely staying here again next time, highly recommended!

This is the epitome of an ‘Urban Oasis’. Not only is the home itself a true testament to design and luxury (straight out of a magazine) but we also really fell in love with the neighbourhood and surrounds. It’s a walkable distance from amenities and social hotspots (such as Kloof and Long Street) Pet friendly accommodations at this level of aesthetic and quality are hard to come by in most areas; and our doggo was more than welcome to share this lovely experience with us. The speedy WiFi and upstairs office space makes it the perfect home away from home for digital nomads. Overall, a picture book abode that made it hard for us to leave. Highly recommended! Thanks to you Dawid and your amazing team for the excellent hospitality.

The house is remarkable. We can easily say it’s the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The perfect place to stay while in Cape Town. Breathtaking views of Table Mountain and a central location that is quiet and relaxing. The pool was a godsend in the summer heat and we enjoyed all the beautiful spaces there are to relax. Street is quiet and you have total privacy from the road while enjoying the front garden and Veranda. Ample spaces in the front and back garden for both sun lovers and those of a shade preferring disposition. Easy walk in and out of the fun Kloof Street area and the amazing restaurants it has to offer. The blue cafe is a five minute walk away for lazy breakfasts. Highly recommended.

A terrific place to stay in Camps Bay and all exactly as descibed. Easy walk to the beach and local restaurants/bars as well as bus pick-ups for tours etc. Uphill walking back but no problem if moderately able. Ubers easily available and not expensive for exploring near or far. No problems as a base if driving yourself. We were an adult party of 5 and really enjoyed our visit to Cape Town. Ingrid was easily reachable and responsive. Would highly recommend and thanks for a great stay!

I would like to thank Monique for the most fabulous stay we have ever had on air bnb. Monique immediately reached out to us as soon as our booking was confirmed, with information which was very helpful about checking in and surrounding area. The whole beautiful cottage was pristine! It felt like we were home. Nothing was missing! Her attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. All cleaning detergents, laundry detergents, bath soaps were provided. The kitchen was stocked with salt and pepper, olive oil, grape seed oil, coffee pods, tea, sugars etc. we found all this very helpful and did not have to stock up on such items. The outdoor areas were clean and beautifully set out with incredible security. The decor inside and outside the cottage had such a comfortable & homey feel to it. Easy walk to Gardens shopping Center and surrounding restaurants! We will definitely be staying with Monique again on our next visit to Cape Town. Thank you Monique for making our stay Perfect.

A beautiful home which is very spacious and clean. Amazing views of Table Mountain from the back. Close to all amenities, including great cafes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house over Christmas and New Year with our family. We were contacted well before our stay with details of location etc and check in was very flexible. Cloe who came to clean was wonderful and very thorough. I would highly recommend the house to anyone who wants a home from home with all comforts.

As a group of colleagues having each bedroom with its own bathroom was great, and the large kitchen and lounge/dining was perfect for catching up. Easy Ubers from the house to our meetings in the CBD and Conference center. Wouldn't hesitate to book it again!

We had an amazing stay at Ilse and Dan’s place! They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the three of us, all experienced Airbnb travelers, unanimously agreed it was one of the best we’ve stayed at. The location is perfect, beautifully decorated, and we had no trouble with parking. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and they even let us leave our luggage for a few extra hours after checking out, which was super helpful. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely love to return and recommend it to friends!

We had an amazing time staying at Colin’s place. He was a great host that was attentive and always helpful whenever we had a question or needed something. Communication was seamless throughout our stay. The place was beautifully furnished with a modern, stylish touch and had all the essentials we could ask for. It felt like home away from home. The location was absolutely perfect - right near the top of Kloof Street, with easy access to some of Cape Town’s best cafes, restaurants and attractions.

We loved our stay at Andre’s. I especially appreciated that it was his actual home and we just had the privilege of borrowing it for a few nights. The place was gorgeous- and the kitchen amazingly stocked with everything you need. We had breakfast in the garden and walked into town from his. The location, the space, everything was fabulous. Thanks Andre also for recommending the local Maharaj restaurant-was delicious!

My family of 8 … 5 adults and 3 toddlers have just spent an amazing two weeks in Lockwood House Lulu was an excellent host. We asked for some extra items for the kids which she gladly included. I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. The location couldn’t have been better—conveniently close to all the main attractions, yet set high enough to offer total peace and quiet after a day of exploring. The views of the sea and mountains were truly breathtaking, adding something special to both mornings and evenings. The photos online don’t fully capture the beauty of the view or the seamless flow of the living area out to the patio—it was even better in person. The home was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and tastefully decorated, and offered many comforts and conveniences. The host was very accommodating and made me feel welcome from the very beginning. Communication was easy, and they were always willing to support in making the stay as comfortable as possible. It was a peaceful, refreshing experience from start to finish, and I would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

I booked the place for a business trip with two of my colleagues. We really enjoyed the landscaping and architecture. The layout and design of the interior was excellent and the pool was exactly what we needed in the warm Cape Town summer.

Such a beautiful place to stay in Cape Town! Camps Bay is beautiful and there are great restaurant and bar options within walking distance and of course THE BEACH! Getting over the mountains into the city bowl was super a quick and easy Uber ride away. The house itself is gorgeous and was perfect for our group. Since we visited in the fall, we didn't end up using the pool but the outdoor space was still so lovely. I would say to remember to bring shampoo and body wash because that was the only thing missing for us, but luckily there are supermarkets a 2 min walk away in case you forget like we did. :)
