Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Tamarin

This property is an absolute gem! We’ve just returned from our first holiday to Mauritius, and had the most amazing time. The house was spacious and well equipped, the beds were comfortable in air conditioned bedrooms, and the views to die for. Our children spent countless hours in the pool and loved the beach which was directly accessed from the bottom of the garden. There was parking for our car and the house was very secure with electric gates to the front. There was a useful shop close to the house and all the facilities you could require in the next town. The south of the island is beautiful, and has so many attractions to keep everyone entertained. Dominique was the perfect host, always available when needed . Jean Noel, the maintenance guy was amazing and was very friendly to our children, picking and opening coconuts from the trees in the garden and giving lessons in Mauritian life. I’ve never been so sad to leave at the end of a holiday, and we are already planning our return!

Das kleine Cottage von Jf und Kareen hat uns mit seinem ganz eigenen Charme, einer tollen Ausstattung und seiner optimalen Lage mehr als überzeugt. Es war sauber, ordentlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber haben nicht zu viel versprochen, waren selbst sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und stets für Fragen erreichbar. Ich würde diese Unterkunft jederzeit guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen 😊

Die Zeit im Palm Nest war wunderschön. Die Lage in Tamarin gefiel uns, da man von dort den schönen Westen der Insel mühelos erkunden kann. Am Strand La Preneuse vor der Haustür kann man wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Der Kontakt mit Coralie war super hilfreich, freundlich und unkompliziert. 🫶🏻

Ramesh et Do ont été des hôtes parfaits. D'une gentillesse exceptionnelle! Le logement est très très propre, ils ont le désir de rendre service pour que nous puissions passer les meilleures vacances possible. Nous les remercions infiniment car ils ont contribué à la réussite de notre séjour sur l’île. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir très vite chez eux .

Staying at Sharvins was amazing. with views of the bay a standout. very relaxing with nice restaurants within a short distance. sharvin and family made us very welcome.

Paradise! We could have stay here even Longer then a week. Kayaking with dolphins, snorkeling the Reef if thé sea is calm. Beautiful views and a very friendly cleaning lady. We had thé best time here. Thé house had everything we needed. And we loved the atmosphere.

Das Haus von Loic hat eine gute Lage und ausreichende Größe für 6 Personen. In fußläufiger Entfernung finden sich ein großer Supermarkt (150m) und mehrere Restaurants (mein Tipp: das Roots Spirits!) sowie der öffentliche Strand von La Preneuse (nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß). Der Ort eignet sich super für Erkundungen im Süden und Südwesten der Insel (z.B. Strand von Le Morne oder der Black River Nationalpark). Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist zweckmäßig und gut. Toll sind die Klimaanlagen in jedem Schlafzimmer. Außerdem gibt es einen (allerdings recht kleinen) Pool auf der Terrasse. Eine kleine Erneuerung bräuchten die Poolliegen und das Geschirr im Haus. Trotzdem kann ich das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Loic ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der umgehend auf Nachrichten reagiert hat. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in La Preneuse!

Avant même d’arriver à l’Ile Maurice, Caroline s’est montrée très disponible. Nous avons de suite ressentie sa bienveillance, sa douceur envers nos enfants et son hospitalité. Un bonheur d’avoir eu l’occasion de découvrir son logement ainsi que ses talents de cuisinière puisque nous avons pu goûter à un plat local réalisé par ses soins. Tout est prévu pour y passer un excellent séjour. Nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation ce lieu. Un GRAND merci encore !! Nous n’avons pas prévu de revenir à l’île Maurice dans les mois/années qui arrivent cependant nous gardons l’adresse précieusement, sait-on jamais !!

Our stay at La Balise Marina L’Estuaire, Black River, Mauritius, was absolutely wonderful. Sandrine was an exceptional host, providing fantastic communication from booking through to our stay, ensuring everything was seamless. Paola took excellent care of our family, keeping the accommodation spotlessly clean and always being available to answer any questions. Both Sandrine and Paola were outstanding, making us feel welcome and well cared for. The apartment was spacious, modern, and equipped with every utensil needed for a self-catering holiday, ensuring a comfortable and satisfying stay. I highly recommend hiring a car, as we did, to explore the island. The apartment conveniently includes a car parking space, and the large Super U supermarket nearby offers a wide range of food and essentials. Our experience was incredibly enjoyable, and we are grateful to Sandrine and Paola for making it so memorable. Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans le logement de Pamela. Rien de négatif, que du positif ! Pamela etait disponible et réactive pour la remise des clés. L'heure variable de restitution des clés est également appréciable. L'appartement est très agréable. Il contient tout ce qui est nécessaire, bien équipé. La climatisation fonctionne bien, la literie est bonne et récente. Le fait que l'appartement soit en rez-de-chaussée est bien pratique car il suffit de faire 4-5 pas pour accéder à la piscine. Résidence très calme lors de notre venue, avec un beau jardin entretenu. Le parking fermé est également un vrai +. Merci à Pamela pour son accueil chaleureux, à la hauteur de la gentillesse mauricienne ! En bref ... nous recommandons !!

5/5 Sterne! Wir hatten ein unvergessliches Erlebnis in dieser traumhaften Airbnb-Wohnung in La Gaulette, Mauritius! Die Wohnung war sauber, modern und komfortabel eingerichtet. Der Blick auf die Berge und das Meer von der riesigen Dachterrasse war atemberaubend. Die Lage war perfekt für uns um den kompletten Süden der Insel zu Erkunden. Dhareena war sehr gastfreundlich und hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen. Ihre Eltern haben uns Empfangen und sie waren unglaublich freundlich. Durch Verspätung unseres Fluges und Problemen mit dem Mietwagen sind wir erst viel später als vereinbart an der Wohnung angekommen, auch das war kein Problem und durch die gute Kommunikation mit Dhareena hat alles perfekt geklappt. Wir können diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen!

Ziaad est très réactif. Le logement était impeccable nous avons était bien reçu pour Martine. Il est adapté à des enfants (même en bas âge) On peut se rendre à la plage à pied, restaurant à proximité (facilement faisable à pied).

what am Incredible place! I read the other comments with some cynicism but can truly say it's exactly as described. Big, wonderful, open space for your own, right across the road from the beach right outside a bus stop. Such friendly hosts and the little touches: chocolates, water, etc really a wonderful stay. As another reviewer wow, don't think about it, just book it

5 étoiles, même si on aurait aimé en mettre plus ! ✨ Éric est un super hôte, de très bon conseil pour les activités et sorties, très amical et réactif ! L’appartement est très agréable, correspond parfaitement à la description, très bien placé juste en face de l’île au Benitier ! Nous le recommandons fortement et reviendrons sans hésiter !

We were informed by Pothano that the room was available from 9;am instead of the normal check in time. Though we didn’t use it as we were sightseeing etc on the way in. Ms Sheela explained the keys etc nicely. We had only booked for 2 days but wished we had stayed longer, the views were amazing from the balcony and I even saw a whale with his binoculars. Suddenly there were droves of boats looking for the whale. I didn’t see it again. There’s a fully functional kitchen etc. with Netflix TV. we ate up some of the house snacks and drinks so I left a generous tip with Mrs Sheela. We really enjoyed. Thanks Pothano! Hope to stay with you again!

Nous avons passé deux mois merveilleux chez Nathalie. L’appartement était parfaitement conforme à l’annonce : spacieux, propre, bien agencé et idéalement situé, à proximité de toutes les commodités et de la plage. Un vrai petit cocon pour profiter pleinement de la vie à l’île Maurice ! Nathalie a été une hôte exceptionnelle : toujours disponible, réactive, accueillante, chaleureuse et souriante. Elle a su répondre à toutes nos demandes avec gentillesse et efficacité, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons son logement les yeux fermés, et si nous repassons à Maurice, nous n’hésiterons pas une seconde à revenir chez elle. Merci encore Nathalie pour ton accueil !

Ambroise est un hôte très accueillant, arrangeant et très amicale tout en étant discret. Le logement est vraiment impeccable et bien pensé merci pour le ménage quotidien... Quant-à l'extérieur, c'est vraiment paradisiaque: la piscine, la plage,les tortues et les couchés de soleil si magnifique. Thank you for the lovely stay Sheel! We felt at home and appreciated the attention towards details found throughout your apartment. The kitchen was well equipped for our extended stay. The building was well maintained, had friendly staff and felt very safe with the security team. Having a pool was a wonderful bonus after an excursion day! We’ll miss our daily breakfast on the balcony enjoying the views! We recommend this great stay :)

Petit séjour à Maurice entre amis. Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable à Rivière Noire ! Le logement était exactement comme sur les photos : propre, bien équipé et très confortable. Le quartier est calme tout en étant proche de tout (restaurants, plage, supermarché). Les hôtes ont été très disponibles tout au long du séjour. Die Unterkunft hat unsere (hohen) Erwartungen noch übertroffen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist super modern, makellos sauber und hat einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Lagune. Ich habe es geliebt, morgens den Kaffee auf dem Balkon zu trinken und aufs Meer zu schauen. Die Ausstattung ist super. Die Waschmaschine ist sehr praktisch. Unsere Kinder haben den unteren Pool geliebt. Dort hat man einen tollen Blick auf den grünen Berghang. Auf der Dachterrasse mit Pool kann man den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Es ist so schön ruhig und alle (Bewohner/Angestellte) sind sehr nett. Supermarkt fußläufig erreichbar. Generell würde ich aber ein Auto empfehlen. Super Lage um vor allem den Süden zu erkunden. Die Unterkunft war für uns absolut perfekt! Roumila hat auf jeden Frage sehr schnell geantwortet und ist sehr nett.

Ashvin nous a parfaitement accueilli dans son logement à la Gaulette. Nous avons bien discuté avec lui, il a été de très bon conseil pour des restaurants et activités aux alentours. Son logement est impeccable, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires, et d’une propreté irréprochable ! La vue sur le Morne et la verdure alentour est vraiment un plus. Je recommande à 100%, merci Ashvin ! Marine

Patricia s'est montrée très disponible, pour préparer notre arrivée, régler tout problème éventuel ou conseil de visite, ce qui est très rassurant. Son appartement est très spacieux, propre, très bien équipé, avec balcons. Au calme, il se situe dans une résidence sécurisée, avec gardien, parking fermé, deux piscines et parc très agréable. Surtout la localisation est idéale car à 5/10 minutes à pied vous pourrez profiter de la superbe plage de Flic en Flac, qui s'étend sur plusieurs kilomètres et propose de nombreuses activités dont restaurants de plage (5/6 euros pour un plat). Dans le même rayon tout à pied, vous avez également de nombreux commerces (supermarché, restaurants, bars, boulangerie, boutiques diverses,..). Et enfin, vous serez très bien situé pour visiter toute l'île en voiture, avec de nombreux sites, randonnées, plages,.. très accessibles depuis l'appartement. En bref, le choix idéal pour profiter de toute l'île Maurice !

Océane is an excellent host, she was super responsive and provided us with great local recommendations. The studio is as described in a beautiful small garden.

Notre séjour à Rivière Noire dans l'appartement de Pascaline était idéal pour visiter le sud ouest de l'île. La vue sur le Morne et l'océan, la terrasse extérieure ainsi que la piscine étaient très appréciables. Nous avons en fait été accueillis par Julie qui gère la location. Elle est très sympa, accueillante, réactive et de bons conseils.
