Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Tamarin

This property is an absolute gem! We’ve just returned from our first holiday to Mauritius, and had the most amazing time. The house was spacious and well equipped, the beds were comfortable in air conditioned bedrooms, and the views to die for. Our children spent countless hours in the pool and loved the beach which was directly accessed from the bottom of the garden. There was parking for our car and the house was very secure with electric gates to the front. There was a useful shop close to the house and all the facilities you could require in the next town. The south of the island is beautiful, and has so many attractions to keep everyone entertained. Dominique was the perfect host, always available when needed . Jean Noel, the maintenance guy was amazing and was very friendly to our children, picking and opening coconuts from the trees in the garden and giving lessons in Mauritian life. I’ve never been so sad to leave at the end of a holiday, and we are already planning our return!

Thanks to Julie for hosting us and for her advice. We had a very good week in this accommodation, with every comfort. Thanks also to the owners Dominique and Michel for their hospitality. The place is perfect for a family stay. Spacious, quiet and close to nature. If we had to note a negative point, it is the fact that the house is far from the center, you must have a car to go shopping or go to the restaurant. The small cottage of Jf and Kareen more than convinced us with its very own charm, a great layout and its optimal location. It was clean, neat and lovingly furnished. The hosts didn't promise too much, were themselves very friendly, courteous and always available for questions. Would recommend this place with a clear conscience at any time 😊

The time at the Palm Nest was beautiful. We liked the location in Tamarin as you can easily explore the beautiful west of the island from there. At La Preneuse beach at your doorstep you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The contact with Coralie was super helpful, friendly and straightforward. 🫶🏻

Ramesh and Do were perfect hosts. Exceptionally kind! The accommodation is very very clean, they have the desire to do a service so that we can have the best vacation possible. We thank them so much because they contributed to the success of our stay on the island. We hope to be able to come back to their place soon.

Staying at Sharvins was amazing. with views of the bay a standout. very relaxing with nice restaurants within a short distance. sharvin and family made us very welcome.

Paradise! We could have stay here even Longer then a week. Kayaking with dolphins, snorkeling the Reef if thé sea is calm. Beautiful views and a very friendly cleaning lady. We had thé best time here. Thé house had everything we needed. And we loved the atmosphere.

Loic's house has a good location and sufficient size for 6 people. Within walking distance there is a large supermarket (150m) and several restaurants (my tip: the Roots Spirits!) as well as the public beach of La Preneuse (only a few minutes walk). The place is great for exploring the south and southwest of the island (e.g. Le Morne beach or the Black River National Park). The equipment of the house is functional and good. Great are the air conditioners in each bedroom. There is also a (but quite small) pool on the terrace. A small renovation would need the pool loungers and the dishes in the house. Nevertheless, I can fully recommend the house. Loic is a very kind host who responded promptly to messages. We had a great holiday in La Preneuse!

Our stay at La Balise Marina L’Estuaire, Black River, Mauritius, was absolutely wonderful. Sandrine was an exceptional host, providing fantastic communication from booking through to our stay, ensuring everything was seamless. Paola took excellent care of our family, keeping the accommodation spotlessly clean and always being available to answer any questions. Both Sandrine and Paola were outstanding, making us feel welcome and well cared for. The apartment was spacious, modern, and equipped with every utensil needed for a self-catering holiday, ensuring a comfortable and satisfying stay. I highly recommend hiring a car, as we did, to explore the island. The apartment conveniently includes a car parking space, and the large Super U supermarket nearby offers a wide range of food and essentials. Our experience was incredibly enjoyable, and we are grateful to Sandrine and Paola for making it so memorable. Highly recommended!

what am Incredible place! I read the other comments with some cynicism but can truly say it's exactly as described. Big, wonderful, open space for your own, right across the road from the beach right outside a bus stop. Such friendly hosts and the little touches: chocolates, water, etc really a wonderful stay. As another reviewer wow, don't think about it, just book it

The apartment is very nice, perfectly matches the description, very well located just in front of the island of Benitier! We highly recommend it and will come back without hesitation!

We were informed by Pothano that the room was available from 9;am instead of the normal check in time. Though we didn’t use it as we were sightseeing etc on the way in. Ms Sheela explained the keys etc nicely. We had only booked for 2 days but wished we had stayed longer, the views were amazing from the balcony and I even saw a whale with his binoculars. Suddenly there were droves of boats looking for the whale. I didn’t see it again. There’s a fully functional kitchen etc. with Netflix TV. we ate up some of the house snacks and drinks so I left a generous tip with Mrs Sheela. We really enjoyed. Thanks Pothano! Hope to stay with you again!

We spent two wonderful months at Nathalie's. The apartment was perfectly in line with the listing: spacious, clean, well arranged and ideally located, close to all amenities and the beach. A real little cocoon to fully enjoy life in Mauritius! Nathalie was an exceptional host: always available, responsive, welcoming, warm and smiling. She was able to respond to all our requests with kindness and efficiency, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We recommend her accommodation without hesitation, and if we go back to Mauritius, we will not hesitate for a second to come back to her. Thanks again Nathalie for your hospitality!

Wow! What a beautiful apartment in a truly wonderful location. Very well appointed, especially the kitchen which was great for us as we like to BBQ. A special mention for Pamela who is just wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Great stay at Isabelle's who is a simply amazing host. In addition to the many tips about the surrounding area, we offered a guided tour of the south of the island and put us in touch for a dolphin and sperm whale boat tour. Thank you for the lovely stay Sheel! We felt at home and appreciated the attention towards details found throughout your apartment. The kitchen was well equipped for our extended stay. The building was well maintained, had friendly staff and felt very safe with the security team. Having a pool was a wonderful bonus after an excursion day! We’ll miss our daily breakfast on the balcony enjoying the views! We recommend this great stay :)

3 nights at Charming Condo perfect for discovering Tamarin, Le Morne, Black River and Black River Gorges! The location is perfect for guests traveling by bus. This was our case and Sébastien provided us with all the directions to get to the accommodation from East Mauritius. Easy and super accessible! Pleasant surprise upon arrival with the little extras and touches of our hosts: welcome basket and beach towels provided perfect for aperitifs on the beach nearby! The first aid kit (yes, we don't think about it enough!) perfect for the little ones following the visit of the National Park! And the perfect location close to restaurants! We enjoyed the Jiva for breakfast and happy Rahja or Osaka Sushi for dinners! Bonus for Sébastien's availability, responsiveness and impeccable accommodation. I recommend it without hesitation, with friends or family, the charming Condo will be ideal for your stay in the southwest of Mauritius.

Good value for money, spacious, parking and terrace. The essentials are present but equipment to be relativized taking into account the price. Level of finish, comfort and equipment a little fair (electrical outlets, water drainage, cooking utensils, closing windows, etc. Winning in receiving work but the price may rise.Dhareena acknowledges that there may be problems and always looking for solutions. The most delicate point is the noise related to the rambling of dogs in the neighborhood. Expect disturbing barking including the night that contrasts with the surrounding calm. Late checkout appreciated on the last day.

The apartment is really nice, very modern, incredible seaview and really spacious. The privat pool is so cool, especially with kids. For most restaurants and supermarket you need a car. We felt like home and can recommend the apartment!

Ashvin welcomed us perfectly to his home at La Gaulette. We had a good chat with him, he was very good advice for restaurants and activities in the area. Her place is impeccable, with all the necessary amenities, and impeccably clean! The view of Le Morne and the surrounding greenery is really a plus. I recommend it 100%, thank you Ashvin! Marine

Patricia was very available, to prepare for our arrival, to resolve any possible problem or visit advice, which is very reassuring. Her apartment is very spacious, clean, very well-equipped, with balconies. Quiet, it is located in a secure residence, with caretaker, closed parking, two swimming pools and very pleasant park. Especially the location is ideal because at 5/10 minutes walk you can enjoy the beautiful beach of Flic en Flac, which stretches for several kilometers and offers many activities including beach restaurants (5/6 euros for a dish). In the same radius all on foot, you also have many shops (supermarket, restaurants, bars, bakery, various shops,...). And finally, you will be very well located for visiting the whole island by car, with many sites, hikes, beaches,.. very accessible from the apartment. In short, the perfect choice to enjoy the whole of Mauritius!

Océane is an excellent host, she was super responsive and provided us with great local recommendations. The studio is as described in a beautiful small garden.
