Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Takoma Park

We stayed at Marie’s home while attending an event at the University of Maryland. We did have to drive anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes to get to the places we needed to go (the university and metro), but it was the perfect location for us. It was incredibly peaceful, beautiful and relaxing on her property. The unit itself was in the basement of her home and we felt very safe and comfortable. Marie gave us plenty of privacy and responded quickly when we did need something. Zero complaints would highly recommend

Janesh was a fantastic host. We stayed for 8 days and they brought over extra towels mid -week. They accommodated our checkin and checkout times. They had everything we needed including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and even shampoo! excellent home and excellent host!

This place is exactly as described and we were able to walk to the Capitol, National Mall area and Nationals ballpark. We would definitely stay here again.

Easy to walk and take the metro to DC. Kelly was willing to work with us on check in/out times. The home is fresh and beautiful. the 3 bathrooms are fabulous. The pullouts/fold up beds were comfortable and convenient. A wonderful place to stay. If you are cooking- bring your own spices, foil, spray oil, ziplocks, etc. Our extended family really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent first Airbnb experience! Space was exactly as described and impeccably clean. Located in a beautiful, secure, quiet neighborhood directly across from a park... so pleasant hearing kids playing while heading out to our car instead of typical hotel noise. Daisy and Steven were fantastic hosts, responsive, friendly, and thoughtfully checked on our comfort without being intrusive. Great amenities including off-street parking, EV charger, coffee bar, snacks, and welcome wine. Clear instructions made everything seamless. Would definitely book again - highly recommend!

This house had everything we needed for our stay. The added benefit was we could bring our small dogs. The yard was fenced so our dogs couldn’t run out. We used the park and ride at the Grosvenor station on the red line about a 15 minute ride. Patricia even left our dogs some yummy dog treats. We had an enjoyable stay!!

Beautiful park-like setting that’s near the red line and the Connecticut Ave corridor, but is super quiet at night! Natasha is so sweet and caring - it’s a unique stay for sure!

What a fantastic location and incredible value! We were in the area to attend our grandniece’s graduation from the University of Maryland. This lovely Airbnb was perfectly situated so that we could participate in the graduation ceremonies, visit local sites and enjoy many of the excellent restaurants nearby. When we began our search for accommodations we found Genene’s listing and quickly knew it was what we wanted. A lovely studio! Our host Genene’s communication skills were impressive. She was incredibly responsive to all our questions and requests. We asked for additional non-listed items like a coffee pot (not Keurig which was already provided) and additional chair for the workstation and she graciously provided what was requested and more. Property and surrounding neighborhood were safe and conducive to dog walking. We coincidentally had the opportunity to meet Genene and those conversations were welcoming and engaging. The studio was exactly as described and comfortable.

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

This place feels like home. A kitchen and a laundry room are all we need. The house is very spacious and has a great outdoor environment. This is a comfortable place. Gale responded to all questions promptly.

Mark was a great host and I enjoyed my short respite at his location. Everything felt clean and new and was designed with thought and care. The outward facing garden was lovely to look at in the morning and while heading to bed. Thank you so much Mark for such a comfortable stay.

A quiet space with lovely garden view, just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive, quick to address the minor issues I had, and friendly without being intrusive. In addition to the many good points mentioned in reviews by previous guests, I especially appreciated the nightlights in the apartment and the outdoor lighting along the walkway. I hope this place is available the next time I'm in the area!

This was probably the first Airbnb we stayed where we wouldn't have been upset if it rained! The unit has such a wonderful eclectic feel with so many little treasures to enjoy. From opening the gate and walking through the landscaping of hidden fountains, yard art, and inviting spaces to the beautifully furnished living space w/ gas fire place , spacious bedroom with a plush bed, all was a delight! Walking distance from an amazing park with pickleball & trails to DC, too easy to get around! LOVED it & look forward to another stay!!

Jenna's place was great ~ it's exactly as described. We found it peaceful & relaxing, and we liked the proximity to public transportation.

Wonderful stay! Elizabeth was quick to answer questions and made sure we had a great stay. Lovely place, had everything we needed and more. I was so thankful to have a washer and dryer since we had been traveling for so long. Elizabeth even had a washing machine pod for us. Would definitely stay again!
