I really had a good time staying here. The location is close to Kyoto Station, so it’s convenient for visiting Mt Inari, Nara, Uji, and Osaka. Several bus stops nearby also made it easy to reach local attractions I wanted to visit, such as Nishiki Market (a must-visit) and the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Two convenience stores are nearby as well: Family Mart (the closest) and 7-Eleven. The room has a washing machine, which was very helpful since I always worked up a sweat after a day of walking. It also includes a fridge and an air conditioner. The bathroom and toilet are both very good. I highly recommend this place when visiting Kyoto.

Muneo-san exceeded our expectations of a host and we were extremely pleased with our time spent here in Osaka. The location has abundant food and drinks options within walking distance, plenty of convenient stores, easy access to public transit (and therefore, Dotonbori), and is incredibly close to Osaka Castle. The space itself was perfect for rest after enjoying the city as it was spacious, spotless, and outfitted with comfortable furniture and modern amenities. We loved our time here and without a doubt, would come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Osaka!

I don’t leave many reviews because most places are average but this was by far the best Airbnb my family has ever stayed at. Noriko and her son met us in person, showed us all around the apartment and how things worked and were very responsive throughout our stay. Noriko must be a professional interior designer. Everything about her apartment was perfect and quintessential Japanese design and style. There’s lots of space and can easily accommodate 6 (we only had 4). Noriko even gave us a welcome gift and a nice Japanese print we intend to frame at home If I was ever to move to Kyoto and wanted to buy and apartment I’d buy this one!

Yamano was a great host. Everything was as described and he was very helpful and responsive before and during our trip. Our family of 5 adults felt very comfortable in this property. There was a bus stop nearby as well as a few different train stations within walking distance. There was a convenience store nearby to get supplies. The location was nearby Arashiyama attractions, but in a quiet neighborhood area that felt more like home. If we ever end up headed their way again we would definitely stay with Yamano. The car service that Yamano set us up with was also very nice and worked well for getting to and from Kyoto Station as well as an 8hr tour.

Reminded me of the first house I lived in in Japan: tatami floors, wooden fixtures, sliding doors... I felt like I was visiting a friend's grandmother's house! Must have been the smell of the wood. Spacious enough for a travel group to have private space as well as communal space. It's a bit of a hike from the train station but still walkable. Quaint, quiet residential neighborhood. Incredible value. Would definitely stay again.

The quietly prepared homestay is absolutely amazing Though you won't see each other, the message contact and response were proactive and don't make you feel nonsense. The whole space is nestled. It is also very Japanese traditional accommodation atmosphere! Especially the bathroom facilities, very new and clean. Lake Biwa is not far from the back of the house, which is really beautiful, and there is also a Mini shop to buy and eat nearby. In summary, if you like a quiet and clean room, Jingru Glass is a good choice for your stay!

Fumika-san is a great host! Very understanding, calm and kind, responds quickly, went to meet and greet us at the bus stop, which was very considerate. Highly recommend the place to anyone! Clean, spacious, a traditional experience with tatami and futon❤️ all the amenities are available, we loved everything!🌸🌸🌸🌸

I would give more stars than 5 if I could. The place was very authentic and it was an amazing experience. Do not worry - the beds are comfortable and the mattress is thicker than I thought! If you are tall you do have to mind your head but my husband is 6'2" and managed :D The host picked us up from the station and the other host was waiting to greet us at the property. Both hosts very extremely friendly and so helpful with explaining everything. Amazing location. Overall 100% recommend!

Thank you, Miyuki for hosting us at your beautiful home. I would give it a 6 stars if they have one. Miyuki is an exceptionally kind, responsive , obliging and understanding host. We felt just like we are at home as the place is clean , orderly, quiet and peaceful. We love the voluntary refill bath tub which helps sooth our tired feet at the end of the day. The kitchen is well equiped and we are able to make most of our meals ourselves (being vegan it helps). You can get buses and train easily. the place is close to shopping mart. We would love to come back again if we visit Kyoto.

This place is exactly as all the other five-star reviews describe. The host is considerate, kind, and responsive. The space is quiet yet close to several major stations. The instruction manuals for the indoor equipment are clear and thorough. I can see how much care the host has put into ensuring our comfort through all the thoughtful details. We’ll definitely book here again if we visit Osaka in the future!

Our stay at this place was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect – everything is within easy reach, including Dotonbori and public transportation. The apartment was very clean, well-organized, and spacious. It had everything we needed, including laundry facilities, which were very convenient. A big thank you to our host Bi, who was always kind, polite, and incredibly helpful. We felt truly comfortable and well taken care of. We especially appreciated his help with carrying our luggage. When we’re back in Germany, we’ll fondly remember our time in Osaka.

This is an extraordinary place. The location is in the heart of the buzzing Gion district, and everything easily walkable. They hosts were helpful & flexible with us leaving bags before and after. The space is unbelievable and rare. It's very spacious, which was a relief after being crammed in prior hotels. Basically it is a giant and very cool room, with attached bathroom and laundry wing. Bedding comfy. The place feels funky. It has absolutely everything you could need. It is not a shared space with anyone else, it's all yours and private. We travelled with 2 toddlers and the space was perfect. Huge room to run and climb, with plastic kitchenware, toys and books. As the host mentions, it is across the hall from a rooftop bar that can be a little noisy, but also distant bars and the district is noisy and busy in general, it was okay. It was neat and fine but could use a deep clean (it would be a hard space to keep perfect), but overall wonderful. 10/10.

I had a good stay for 3 nights and 4 days ~ I was so satisfied that the accommodation was so neatly done ^ ^ It was a limited stop from Namba Station, and it was nice to be able to walk to the restaurants and zoos we were going to. If there was a little regret, there was no clock, so it was a little uncomfortable to check the time ~ Apart from this, I was very satisfied ~ If I have a chance, I'll book the accommodation again on my next trip.😀 Thank you ~ ~ ~
