The bus is old but cozy and in a private area for you & friends to enjoy. please expect budget glamping with all the natural experiences.Native bush,the River across the road to swim in,the sea 2kms aswell as a dairy, pub,walks and cafes very close. perfect for a group reunion with a camp kitchen and pizza oven for use 3 nights or more. beds are two doubles one single and small couch for kids. Excellent location, quick walk to Estuary with Marina, cafes/restaurants. Ocean beach is also 5 minutes walk via a cliff path. Tairua shops are a few minutes drive.

Hideaway by the Sea (Dogs welcome)

You owe yourself a break by the sea. Chill out on Whiritoa's uncrowded beach only 80 meters away. No sound or sight of traffic here and low light pollution in the village provides front seat tickets to galaxy granduer. Whangamata is only 12kms drive if you would like to eat out. Accommodation is downstairs with your personal entrance. Double bedroom with queen bed, lounge/kitchenette, laundry/bathroom. Comfortable and clean.

We lived in Hawaii for many years and Pau Hana in Hawaiian means end of the week, time to relax with friends or family. Our place is close to the beach but away from the crowds so if you want peace and quiet with great views, this is the place for you. It is good for couples, friends, solo adventurers and people with pets (1 dog only). It is an easy 15 min walk to the shops and 20 mins to the beach. Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach and Whitianga are all within easy reach.
