The most beautiful space to unwind , felt like home away from home we didn’t wanna leave! Beautiful gardens, beautiful pool, it was the best place we have stayed. Definitely recommend!.

We had an amazing 3‑night getaway at Maxwell’s charming property in Summertown to celebrate our anniversary and my wife’s birthday. The hot weather was perfect for taking full advantage of the fantastic pool, and we loved dining al fresco every night—watching the sunset and the full moon rise added an extra touch of magic to our evenings. Although there’s plenty to explore in the Adelaide Hills, we chose to relax on the property and enjoy all the facilities, including the new sauna (a delightful bonus, even if we weren’t quite sure of the protocol!). Maxwell was a fantastic host—always communicative and even arranged a private dinner from the owners of Marshi’s Kitchen, a local Sri Lankan restaurant that was simply divine. We highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing retreat.

What a great place to stay. Old, but clean and specious with everything you would want including home grown tomatoes and homemade fig jam. the gardens, unfortunately affected by the drought, are great. We would have loved to see them in their full glory. The owners were great also and promptly top us up with a couple of items we were running out of. We would certainly stay again.

Super place… the view is stunning (better than the restaurants and summits around)… place is very spacious and has at least 3 of everything we needed! Melanie and Tim are super responsive from checkin queries, local recommendations and helping to resolve a small issue (not their fault) in checkin. We loved our time in the place - easy to find and very close to everything we wanted to do in Adelaide. I’ll definitely be looking to see if this place is available on our next trip!

Spent a few days over Easter weekend. Nice spacious place, lots of things to keep busy with a game of pool, cards etc indoors, the pool was on the chilly side as it’s not heated. Thank you for the Easter eggs was a nice gift.

Many places to stay on the river however this one has a pool which was great for the family instead of sitting on the river bank the whole time.

What a find! Superb accommodation in the Adelaide Hills. Large gardens (with own resident koala and kangaroos). Beautiful surroundings, very tranquil. Furnished to a high quality throughout. Amazing responsive and friendly hosts. So glad we found this place. Highly recommended

What can I say, the minute we walked in we felt a wave of relaxation come over us. The property is situated in a beautiful part of South Australia, surrounded by farms and rolling hills, while being 20mins to the coast. The house sits on a slight hill allowing for views across farmland and beyond, while also providing spectacular sunrises. The house was huge, and very clean, with lots of room for our family to spread out and chill without being in each other’s way. The heated pool was also a big hit with everyone, especially the kids. It has everything you need to unwind and just enjoy. Mario was a fantastic host and was very accommodating to our needs, ensuring we had everything to make this stay 5 stars.

Rachel’s place was exceptionally clean and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and equipped. We had a wonderful evening at the fire pit area which is so ideally located as we could easily watch the kids while they played and fished on the private jetty. The provision of a number of kayaks for use by guests was such a bonus. You get a sense that the host has given thought and has gone above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Well done! We will definitely be back for a stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at Daniel’s place. It is perfect for us because we have such a large group of us and there is plenty of space. The place is very clean and tidy and we will definitely stay there again.

This house was awesome! We were here for racing at The Bend, and although we didn’t get to spend a lot of time in the house, it was perfect for our team to stay in. There were 5 spacious, comfortable bedrooms (one which was not in the photos, but was an awesome surprise when we got there with 4 extra single bunk beds, which looked like king singles. Adults could definitely sleep here. There was plenty amenities in the house, and although the weather kept us inside all weekend, the backyard / patio area would have been beautiful to spend some time on! Plenty of parking for cars and trailers, and the host was incredibly helpful! Always responsive, and we didn’t have any issues whatsoever but are confident it wouldn’t have been an issue if we had contacted Andrae during our stay! We would absolutely love to come back, and recommend this house for any occasion - particularly families! 🩷

Damien was a great host, very responsive and easy to get along with. Nothing was too much trouble. Place was lovely to stay in - comfy beds, comfy lounge, quiet street, easy to find. Would recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic stay. The house was luxurious, peaceful, and beautifully presented. Watching the pelicans glide across the river was a real highlight, and the outdoor and indoor entertaining areas made it easy to relax and enjoy the space. A perfect spot for a quiet getaway. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful house with absolutely everything you could need. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could need. The outside BBQ are is lovely and there is even bowls provided for your dogs. They have truly thought of everything. We only wished we could move in permanently!

Myself and my husband had a very relaxing stay. The accommodation was very clean and bed super comfortable. Loved the outdoor bath and how secluded we felt. Enjoyed watching kangaroos hopping along the top of the hill as we sat on the veranda. Kept nice and warm from the gas patio heater, log fire pit and indoor heater. Everything we needed was provided including a lovely bottle of wine on arrival. Highly recommend for a relaxing and secluded stay without being too far away from civilisation. Thanks guys!

Clean and tidy..only stayed the 1night as working in the area. Perfect for what we needed and host was super quick with responses. Would stay again!

My four-night stay at The Glen was absolutely perfect. The tastefully designed cabin has all the amenities and luxury comforts you need on beautiful private grounds. Morning coffee on the deck overlooking gum trees and grazing kangaroos, with the fresh eucalyptus scent in the air, was pure magic. Inside, the cosy home features large windows framing stunning outdoor views. Host Lucy and Garth was responsive, polite, and welcoming. This peaceful retreat outside Adelaide left me completely relaxed and refreshed. Look forward to returning back soon! Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous week at Sarah’s house. With a group of 6 adults and 4 children under 5, we found the space and area perfect for everyone. The children especially loved the downstairs games! We will definitely be back.

A wonderful, relaxing stay in a beautiful location. Loved the views and light-filled, open-plan living area. Plenty of room for our party of eight to spread out and enjoy the peaceful, scenic surrounds. Thoughtful touches, such as Easter chocolate and wine on our arrival, and generous breakfast supplies provided. Beverley was extremely helpful and responded to all our enquiries swiftly. QUALITY AND COMFORT Right from the start Jane was responsive and helpful. The house is beautifully appointed; the linen is lovely quality, the beds were excellent, everything was clean and uncluttered. Lots of thoughtful details and we particularly appreciated the cheese board and magazines. We loved the woodfire heater - so cosy. All the instructions for the use of appliances were extremely clear, which made life easier. Thanks Jane for a fabulous stay!
