Charmaine and Steve are the hosts at Halletts Valley Hideaway - a luxurious self-contained cottage tucked away amidst vineyards on the outskirts of Tanunda, in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley. The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, spectacular Barossa sunsets, kangaroos amongst the vines and blue wrens on the lawn.

The Writer's Studio, Barossa

Perfect for one or two people, The Writer's Studio is fully self-contained. It has a really comfortable and firm inflatable queen bed. Away from the main house, it opens out onto a small orchard. This is a quiet oasis you can enjoy in between exploring all the Barossa has to offer. It has dining and sitting areas as well as a reading nook in the loft. It has a sofa which can open out for a child if necessary. Or we can set up another inflatable bed in the loft, accessed by a loft ladder.

Embrace the quiet rural feel of native birdsong and scattered sheep across the way, all whilst being within a short stroll of the heart of Tanunda. It’s a great spot to discover the Barossa Valley and a lovely neighbourhood. I have so many great memories here, and I’m convinced that you will too.

The Barn - a little bit rustic, a little bit luxe

Step into a little bit of rustic charm with some luxe comfort at the Barn - it shares some nuances of glamping - but not in a tent! Nestled on our 5-acre property named Pondicherri, The Barn is set amongst a collection of historic outbuildings offering a countryside escape in a village atmosphere and yet, is very close to all what the Barossa Valley can offer. From the Barn you will see no neighbours, no street lights and a huge night sky of twinkling stars.
