What a beautiful stay! I booked this place mostly for the private hot tub, but got SO much more in the process! The place was wonderfully decorated, welcoming (felt like home), and super clean. My family was super happy with the amenities: private hot tub that we used both at night and morning, any and all kinds of cookware, cute llama mugs, a grill that we used for steak (twice!), extra blankets that are always welcome. Hosts were very responsive which is appreciated given I booked the day of! The neighborhood is full of big trees and you feel you are connected with nature even at home. Overall, we were exceptionally pleased with the stay—this little cabin (not so little) deserves all the 5 stars. :) Thank you!

The house was beautiful and a perfect spot for 6 of us to decompress after a powerlifting competition in Reno. We loved the hot tub and the well outfitted kitchen. The surroundings were beautiful and it was just a quick drive down to the lake. Zhaolei was extremely communicative and and helpful throughout the entire process. We'd love to stay here again.

We’ve stayed at Chairlift Lodge multiple times and it never disappoints! The cabin is exactly as pictured—super clean, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are cozy, and the home has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. It's in a perfect location for exploring Donner Summit, with easy access to Donner Lake, Truckee, and Lake Tahoe. Whether you're visiting in summer or winter, it’s a great base for outdoor adventures. Trains do pass by the area, which adds to the historic feel of being along the famous Old Highway 49. The nearby market/deli is also well-stocked for any essentials. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed at a few spots and this place was by far the cleanest. Although on the smaller side it had a very well equipped kitchen which made our stay all the more better as we pretty much got snowed in and cooked every meal ourselves rather than venture out. It was a decent size for two adults and one young kid and the house is so well insulated it felt warm without the heater on high making it pleasant. The only downside was the broken sofa bed which was a bummer as one of us had to sleep on it without opening. Also be aware that when it snows hard like it did when we were there it comes up to as high as the windows so you literally can’t see anything out and the house doesn’t have a garage. Just something we only belatedly realized. One last thing - the host kindly reached out a day earlier given the extreme weather forecast with an offer to check in early which we greatly appreciated!!

Laurent & Josephine's home is beautiful! Very clean and had everything we needed (extra blankets, plenty of dishes for cooking, toiletries, a great hot tub). It's also very close to Northstar, where we went skiing. Fit 7 people and a dog comfortably. They also gave great instructions and were very responsive. Would highly recommend.

Anette's home was absolutely fantastic! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location was perfect for walks with the family and dogo. The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful, making our stay a truly memorable experience. The place is HUGE! Everyone can have their own private space. The kitchen is fantastic, with plenty of room, and the stovetop will make you want to cook!

Very spacious house, conveniently located close to Lake Blvd, providing a short drive to Kings Beach, Northstar, Tahoe City, and the Alpine and Palisades resorts. The house is quite spacious, with plenty of sitting space, a good kitchen and dining room space. There is room for 4 cars in the driveway, plus one or two in the garage (depending on your parking skills ;-), which is nice. My friends and I are already thinking of trying to rent this lodge again next year (although this review may make it more difficult...). We had a small issue with the hot tub -- it was perfectly usable (it is really big too), but the jets did not function correctly every time. This has been reported and given Madelyn's responsiveness, I am confident that this will be solved.

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in clean space, easy check in, and in a great area. They were very responsive and helped with any questions within minutes.

We loved our stay at Mark and Chelsea’s. The cabin exceeded all expectations. The home had everything we needed including very comfortable beds, outdoor games, well stocked kitchen and fire pit we used each night for smores. We didn’t use the jacuzzi but it was clean and serviced while we were there. Our 2 year old begged to not leave and we didn’t want to either. Thank you for hosting our very special family vacay.

The place is clean, well appointed, and a great location close to resort. Hosts go out of their way to make a first class experience with several nice amenities including stocked coffee bar, well equipped kitchen, and a nice welcome package sitting in each bedroom. The place is awesome for the price.

This was an outstanding experience! The hosts were so responsive and great to work with. Also, the condo was clean, well stocked, and close to everything we needed: restaurants, coffee, grocery stores, and fun lake activities and trails! 10/10 would recommend!

Ideal location for a family ski trip. Parked in heated garage and didn’t have to get in the car until it was time to leave. Spacious and fully stocked. Would stay again.

I like how quiet and serene it was. Felt like we had the neighborhood to ourselves. Looks like Olga is doing a lot of updating to the the chalet. We will stay again and would love to see how it looks next year

Kate is a fabulous host who is available to answer all of our questions and provided excellent instructions in terms of check-in and any questions that we had. It is a walk to the ski hill and we were so fortunate that NorthStar remained open for Easter weekend. We had a wonderful Easter holiday at her luxury condo that is equipped with everything that you could possibly need. We enjoyed the restaurants at the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe along with sitting outside by the fire pits. We also enjoyed an afternoon at the spa which was absolutely amazing !! I would recommend staying at this beautiful condo to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun family vacation !! Thank you Kate we hope to come back soon !!!

Ideal home for family with kids! Great location, lots of amenities as well as fun kid spaces. We were there in winter. Shuttle picks you up at door step and drops you back at door step after skiing!Everything was well equipted and made the stay quite comfortable for all!

We had a great stay with our 5 and 8 year old kids and family dog. Fantastic location and great value- exactly as pictured. Cozy, not fussy, right in the heart of the Northstar village. If you need a midday break from skiing or have a napping child, this location is so close that it would be easy to come back for lunch or a rest. Other guests noted the 2 flights of stairs and one elevator as a potential draw back. Wasn't a problem for us on shoulder season. We left our skiiis in the car, you could also check them at the valet if you've got your hands full with kiddos. We used the heated pool and hot tubs at the recc center. Doggy relief was as convenient as it could be in an apartment-like building. Lots of patches of dirt close by with a nice walking trail by the recc center. One note, we had some nice spring weather and the loft got warm in the afternoons. Drawing the shades during the day and opening windows and doors for the evening made it more comfortable for sleeping.

Our group absolutely loved our time here. Just a couple minutes' drive to the edge of the lake, and the town of King's Beach was cute and easily accessible. There was a 24hr Safeway 5 minutes from Cara's place. The home itself was also great. Clean and homey, with games and space to enjoy our time inside as much as at the lake.

Ryan was a wonderful host for my visit to the area. I loved the space it was clean, convenient and private! I really enjoyed my stay thank you!

We had an enjoyable weekend at Mika's place, with out two dogs. It was so, so clean and cozy, perfect for two people. I really like the location for it's quiet and beauty. We walked to Patton Beach all three days we were there.

Loved the cabin had excellent location to a variety of activities and at a reasonable price. The cabin fit myself and all of my family incredibly well including a party of 8, six adults and 2 kids. The cabin itself was beautiful felt incredibly comfortable to stay in during our trip with a real homie feel. Though our internet did go out the last day, the cabin does come with many amenities like internet and games for the family. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would rent again.

Stay was great. Lisa communicated clearly all the instructions for both check in and out. My kid loved the bear theme. Would come back again!

Beautiful home! Beach was walking distance. Quiet neighborhood and very peaceful. A great place to escape reality and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to book!
