Cabin holiday rentals in Tahoe Pines

Last minute trip was a great success! My family loves visiting Tahoe city and this location served the kids and the adults well. Lots of games and plenty of activities for family fun. Hot tub was a huge bonus! We’d definitely return to this lovely and perfectly decorated home

The cabin is in a great spot and the layout was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the host was very responsive when we had questions. A great stay overall!

We were in David's house for a ski trip to Palisades Tahoe. The place was great value, in a great location (very close to Palisades), and had everything we needed. Even though David was traveling at the time, he stayed in touch and had clear instructions for checking in and out. Would visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was immaculately clean — truly spotless — and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the management had gone above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Communication was excellent throughout our stay, and VRA team was both responsive and considerate. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic experience — we would definitely stay here again!

This cabin is just perfect for a small family. The fenced backyard meant the kids could play outside while we relaxed! And Barb is a wonderful host. It's the perfect Tahoe cabin.

Nicolas’s home is excellent — clean, spacious, and very comfortable for more than just a short stay. The terrace is great for BBQ, and the shade from the acacia tree makes it perfect for breakfast outdoors. We truly appreciated that the house is pet-friendly. We had two large dogs, and they loved the small fenced area and dog door. Please clean up after your pets if you bring them too. Upstairs has several bedrooms, one with a beautiful sky and forest view. The kitchen is well-equipped (though a few more dishes would be great), laundry is available, and internet is strong. TV works well too. The host lives next door but gives you total privacy. Nicolas was always helpful and respectful. Only two small notes: the house is close to a road (not an issue for us), and we hoped the hot tub was in a more cozy location — we didn’t end up using it. Great location: close to wineries, an apple farm, shops, and gas stations. We visited Sacramento, Sonoma, Napa ,even Lake Tahoe to San Francisco

If you’re looking for a peaceful nature retreat with friends and family—or a private, romantic escape to recharge with your partner—stop scrolling and book this place. You won’t find a better value, a more charming historic cabin, or a more thoughtful host near Truckee and Lake Tahoe. It was a one-of-a-kind stay we’re really glad we experienced.

Very cute home perfect for families and kids! Awesome neighborhood with cute hikes nearby. Still great proximity to the casinos and state line and all the fun Southlake Tahoe has to offer. Very responsive host, friendly and accommodating. A pleasure to stay there and look forward to returning.

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of details that make it feel like a high-quality retreat, especially for families. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—much better than most rentals—and made cooking easy and enjoyable. The cabin stayed warm overnight even without turning on the heat, and the WiFi was reliable enough for a work video call. Beds and mattresses were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. One thing to note for families with young kids: I wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers, as the stairs are steep and the heater is floor-mounted. Fortunately, our child was old enough for it not to be an issue. A small tip: the melamine plates are very cute, but not microwave-safe—learned that the hard way! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had a wonderful time at Kennan’s property! Even though it was raining we were able to take an awesome hike to Lovers Leap. We were also fortunate to be here for the opening of the adorable coffee shop and bar just down the road! (Walking distance). We lived the kitchen table for playing our favorite board games. And they even had a great selection of games to choose from! The beds were very comfortable. We would stay again!

Everything inside feels high-end, from the furniture to the finishes, making it not just a place to stay but a space to enjoy. The location is perfect, tucked away in a peaceful area yet still close to everything you’d want to explore. But the real showstopper? The backyard. It’s unreal. Our kid had the best time running around and playing freely, and the creek out back is serene and beautiful—a perfect spot to unwind with a morning coffee or evening drink. You can tell the host put real care into every corner of the home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and stylish getaway

We had a very nice stay. You could tell there was a lot of thought put in to making guests feel comfortable, accommodated and informed. The location was perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beautiful lake.

Very cozy and quaint place. There’s a lake just at a walking distance from the house. Robert is an extremely polite and friendly host and very responsive to all questions. We have 2 dogs and Robert was so thoughtful to provide toys, poop bags and even fur combs! There’s fun board games as well. A very nice stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Lake Tahoe (30 mins only) or just chilling.

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you so much for sharing your little spot of paradise with us!

What a beautiful place! This is a rare Airbnb that’s even prettier than the photos. Rene was very communicative and we felt very at-home for our weekend there. Such a cozy place to relax while hitting the slopes.

This was our first time visiting Lake Tahoe, and we loved every second of our trip. This was by far our best Airbnb experience ever. Peter's house is very nice and peaceful. It’s full of amenities that kept our group comfortable and made us feel at home! We will definitely come back to Lake Tahoe in the near future! Peter's house is absolutely a seven-star experience!

This charming A-frame cabin is nestled between Homewood and Tahoe City, offering a serene escape surrounded by the forest. Our stay here was nothing short of magical. Absolutely Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! My fiancé and I recently stayed here with our two dogs, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the home felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable. The house itself was spotless and impressively well-stocked, far beyond what you’d typically expect from an Airbnb. Everything we needed was readily available, from kitchen supplies to cozy blankets, making our stay effortless and relaxing. Our dogs had an amazing time exploring the fully fenced backyard while we enjoyed unwinding in the private hot tub — the perfect way to relax after a day of adventures. The location is fantastic: quiet, peaceful, and just minutes away from Lake Tahoe, scenic hiking trails, and Tahoe City. The provided bikes added an extra layer of fun and made exploring the area even more enjoyable. John's home exceeded our expectations in every way and is an ideal spot to make new memories. We will definitely be back.

I am not one to provide reviews good or bad, but I can’t say enough about Pam - the host of the Harris Place. She was immediately responsive the entire trip, meticulous in every way, and does not allow you to do without . The cabin was exactly as advertised and the view was breath taking. She went above and beyond with courtesy items at the cabin provided for our stay as if we were residing. Thank you Pam not only for being a great host but just being a wonderful person throughout our dialogue.

Quite neighborhood, close to multiple shops and restaurants! About 35 minutes from South Lake, great stay! Haven’t stayed in Tahoma when visiting Lake Tahoe but would definitely come back to Tim’s place!
