Charming Cabin on a stream West Shore

Enjoy your stay at our quiet Homewood cabin on a small stream in an excellent location near walking/hiking/biking trails. Great for 2 couples with 1-bedroom downstairs (queen bed) & a loft upstairs w/queen bed & 2 futons. Enjoy coffee on 1 of the 2 two decks w/mountain views or sit by the cozy gas fireplace. Ski @ Homewood, Squaw or Alpine—the shuttles are nearby. A beach is at the bottom of the hill, & many popular restaurants & bars are nearby. We have hi speed wifi & a TV downstairs.

We except 1 small-medium dog 40lbs and under, by interview only.. You will be charged $25 dog fee.. The dog will not be left unattended in the unit without being confined to a kennel.. This adorable remodel has a downstairs living plan, a private hot tub on the huge back deck, heated bathroom floors, new carpets as of 2024 and sleeping for 7 people. All the bedrooms are upstairs, and they all feature queen size beds. Also upstairs is a workspace, laundry, and a loft play area.

Charming Tahoe Pines Log Cabin at low elevation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Yvette's cabin in Tahoe Pines. We've stayed in a number of cabins on the west shore of Lake Tahoe and her place was one of the best. The house is cozy and clean, and Yvette's instructions were clear and timely. The kitchen was well stocked with good pots, pans and utensils. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is great since the west shore is quiet and peaceful but still close enough to get into Tahoe City for shopping and food. There are some small local markets nearby to pick up supplies as well. The area around the cabin was great for walking the dog, and the beach was easily accessible from the house. Also, we are skiers and loved the large mud room. Yvette was such a kind and welcoming host and we are grateful to have been able to stay there. Highly recommend Yvette's place and it's top of our list for a future visit!

Adorable cabin, walk to the Lake

Beautiful house in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. It only took me 5 mins to walk to the lake and a short 5-10mins drive to the nearest restaurants and bars. The house is also pretty close to the Eagle Rock trailhead so you can just walk there and avoid the whole parking situation. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Tahoe

"POLISHED GEM" Near Lake and Ski Resorts is back

Staying at this cabin truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. When I first saw the photos, I was enchanted..but being there in person was even more magical. Coming from the stress of the LA fires, this place felt like a peaceful heaven and a true home away from home. Kathy was incredibly understanding and kind throughout. I’ve stayed here twice now, and both times everything has been absolutely perfect. The attention to detail is amazing, the backyard is serene and beautiful, and the location in Homewood is, in my opinion, the best in all of Tahoe. I loved every bit of my stay. If I could, I’d give it 10 out of 10!

Clean, and cozy in a compact footprint. Great location…close to bike path and walk across the street to the lake. Perfect for us with a couple exceptions…no A/C, which was advertised in the description, however the cabin faced the sun during the day and acted like a greenhouse during the day, some of the pillows were stinky, counter space in kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were very limited. Great for our family of 4, would likely stay here again.

It was a great spot for a little vacation! The neighborhood was nice and quiet and the lake was easily walkable. The house had great security and it was setup just like how it was pictured. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. He was also flexible with check out time which was really helpful. Overall, my group had a great time and would come back again. Thank you again!
