Wonderful hosts; friendly and responsive. Great location that was close to the main shops, pubs and restaurants in Hexam as well as for visiting Hadrian's Wall. Extremely well equipped and clean. Highly recommend.

You can’t argue with all the other great reviews. Little Waves is located in a peaceful cul de sac and only a few minutes walk to the centre of Seahouses. Having its own parking spot is a real bonus. Karen’s place is brilliantly appointed with everything you would need for a fantastic stay, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Check in was easy and Karen was a super host, responding quickly to any questions we had. All in all, highly recommended.

The Snug met our needs exactly, and Alison had thoughtfully left many extras in the kitchen to make our stay comfortable. We were sad to leave! Perfect location for exploring one of the most scenic stretches of Hadrian's Wall, very convenient for some of the best sites. We are already planning to book again next year.

We had a lovely stay at Will & Dawn’s place. They’re very friendly and helpful in providing all the instructions and information we needed ahead of our trip. Our children love playing (and feeding!) their rabbits & hamsters and the indoor heated swimming pool was simply a bonus to have when it’s raining outside. The place was very cosy & clean and it’s a great location to explore Northumberland!

Beautiful home which was more than adequate as our coastal base for a week of exploring. Gary was helpful with tips and advice in the build up to our stay and throughout when needed. we have a 4 year old and a 1 year old and there was excellent baby proofing through the entire property. Highly recommend for families wanting to be right on the coast. loads to explore in both directions.

Lorna was a great host and made us feel very welcome. She met us at the property and made sure we got in OK and had what we needed, even though she was getting soaked whilst doing so. The property was very well presented and lots of nice touches to make it feel very homely. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

The wonder historic house that Marion and John shared with us is absolutely stunning. The house & space has so much character yet provides all the modern amenities. Lots of room for the four of us. A plus was being out in the English countryside, yet within reasonable travel to all the main attractions was just perfect. The incredible views sitting in the backyard with a tea, coffee or adult beverage was just a slice of heaven. Pictures on site can't do it justice. Just wish there were less clouds to enjoy the dark sky and stars. John shared a ton of historical knowledge of the house, the land and the region which my wife just ate up being a history buff herself. Wish we could have stayed longer. A real Gem.

What an outstanding Airbnb! The property itself was super stylish, incredibly well thought out and had everything you could have wanted for a few nights stay. The bed was incredible comfortable and so was all the linen and towels. Deborah was a wonderful host who had left a folder with great recommendations - we tried some of them and they were great. I don't normally spend too much time in an Airbnb but we felt so comfortable and at home here, that we spent an evening watching a movie. The location is also perfect - a short stroll to restaurants, pubs and the heart of Hexham. Great parking for 1 car too! I'd stay here in a heartbeat!

Scott was an amazing host who gave detailed information before arrival which was perfectly timed. He also sent a message to check everything was okay shortly into our stay. The house itself was incredibly comfortable and homely with lovely amenities. All products were high quality such as the cooking utensils, duvet, mattress etc which makes such a difference to a stay. Everything was really thought out as well with plenty of space to put our own food and belongings and properly settle in for the week. A gorgeous location perfectly situated for all the best bits of Northumberland to explore. I cannot recommend this cottage enough. If you book, look out for the barn owl who is nested in the trees at the bottom left of the field.

Came for a family wedding at Newton Hall. Perfect location, clean and well equipped and the three bathrooms were ideal for five of us getting wedding ready.

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

We had a great stay at this spacious flat. It was absolutely spotless and well equipped. The check in was quick and easy. Neil was very quick to respond to our query during our stay. Very comfortable, everything you could need was provided. Helpful information in folder within the apartment which answered all the questions about the apartment and the area. Parking easy with clear instructions provided. Amazing view of castle and great to watch the lighting of the beacon in remembrance of VE Day from window. All in all, a great apartment in a great location with seamless communication with owners. Thank you.

A lovely apartment right in the center of Alnwick. Everything you need and well equipt. Bed is so comfy you really don't want to get out of it! Barry was a super host, and communication was excellent! Will definitely stay again if in the area in the future!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at John’s flat in Alnwick. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. John’s instructions on use of the house were extremely clear and thorough. Parking was very convenient and free. It was a very short walk to downtown Alnwick. I will add that out of the dozens of AirBnBs and other short term rental properties we have stayed at, this one ranks very close to the top. We will definitely seek it out during future visits to the Northumberland area.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a long weekend celebrating with family who live locally. The apartment was perfect, great location, clean, and just want we needed. The hot tub was a complete win with our children. The courtyard is private and a real sun trap. We will be back.

Lovely apartment and clean and stylish. The flat is on the fourth/top floor as explained in the description but it was a killer with 98 steps up to the top. Other than this, we loved our stay and can only say positive things. Bed and pillows were very comfy too
