We had an unforgettable stay at this magical cabin! Izzy and Joe are amazing hosts—warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. Check-in was seamless, and since late checking was requested by them , they kindly offered a late checkout, which we truly appreciated and made our departure more relaxed. The cabin itself is even better than the photos—beautifully decorated, full of natural light, and thoughtfully designed. The bedroom and sunroom with lake views quickly became our favorite cozy spots. The private island with its dreamy daybed swing and breathtaking lake views felt like a hidden paradise, and our dog loved roaming leash-free on the island. Everything in the cabin is intuitively organized, with smart controls for lighting, shades, and TV—managed via an iPad that also contains a well-designed digital guide. We’ve stayed at many cabins over the years, and this one stands out in every way. We’re already planning to return and make this special place an annual tradition

We had a wonderful time in Elizabeth’s airbnb. It is just as described and it was the perfect size for a small family. Our kids loved the easy access to the lakes. Plus there are bunnies everywhere! The house is clean and well stocked. We would stay here again. Thank you, Elizabeth!

Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. We had all the comforts of home and more. The house was spacious and the bedrooms were placed just perfect to have privacy. We used the guide book that was arranged so that we would know where the best grocery stores were and other amenities. Thank you for such perfect accommodations!

The view of the lake, and the large covered porch were fantastic! Even on a rainy day we all enjoyed hanging out. The place was clean and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. As other reviewers have mentioned, the many steep stairs to access the house are definitely a consideration before renting. They would be a real challenge if you had mobility issues. You have to unload/load your car at street level and use the stairs. But a lovely house for a large group!

Absolutely exceeded our expectations! As soon as we walked it, we felt the energy and peace of this home. We came as a group for a healing weekend and that is exactly what we received. The homeowners were quick to respond as we prepared for the weekend with any and all questions. On my end I will account that i missed on reading the checkout instructions, so i am not sure how much of any inconveniences that may have caused. We cleaned and left as we found it. We highly recommend the location and its bucolic property and the home itself was fully equipped and clean with anything you could want for. Thank you again for being a part of our ability to create a memorable weekend that will live with us forever 💚💚💚💚

After the hustle and bustle of working near the city, this home was a much needed peaceful retreat. Spacious; Comfortable; Large bed to sink into at the end of the night; and peaceful grounds. We had our two toy poodles with us and they had a treat running the fenced in yard. If the weather cooperated, we would have been in the pool. Next time-;)

We spent an incredible weekend at the Milford House. Everything was perfect. Tommy is an excellent host who was always attentive to our needs. Friends from out of the country came to stay, and renting this house to share was an excellent choice. I will definitely rent this house again to spend a relaxing weekend in the mountains. Thank you, Tommy, for such excellent service. House was big enough to accommodate a crowd of 10 people.

We loved our stay at Mariusz's place- we were 2 couples and a dog. The apartment is great, loved the terrace, and the heated pool and hot tubs were great! the view is great and the surroundings offer plenty of options for hiking! Mariusz was super responsive and helpful!

Spent a weekend here with friends and had an awesome time. Yevgeniy was extremely accommodating, and responded to any questions very quickly. I would 100% come back.

This is a great home with plenty of space and much attention has been paid to make your stay comfortable, the stay was excellent and Fonseca was extremely quick to respond to our text messages. Highly recommended to others.

Kate was a wonderful host and was very respectful of our space while also being super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The house was truly one of a kind and incredibly well decorated to feel like a sanctuary. The area was peaceful and we even saw deer right outside the window. We enjoyed walking nearby and saying hello to the horses on the property. Our pup was a little nervous the first night looking outside at the horses wildlife as there are no curtains or blinds but he quickly adapted. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and relaxing in the peace of Kate’s property.

Rick, Gisel and Teddy's place was absolutely perfect! Every aspect was thoughtfully created- there was truly nothing missing from their great spot. It was a wonderful place to relax after our day at Legoland, there were so many great restaurants locally and Warwick was an adorable little town to walk around. The house was clean as could be and dog approved! Nothing was missing from this wonderful home!

Anastasia was a wonderful and accommodating host. We greatly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the kindness extended by the hosts, especially considering our extended arrival time due to travel delays. I had never been to the Milford area before and greatly appreciated the quality local recommendations. Visiting with the precious horses on the farm was a plus! Would highly recommend a stay at the Barn loft with Anastasia!

I booked this property as a kind of ad hoc writing retreat. It was the perfect location to complete what work I needed to do. A quick drive into Sparta for restaurants and supplies also made this a great location.

Michele’s place is terrific and Michele is a very attentive host.

David’s camp is spectacular. Meeting us two at the appointed time, he could not have been more gracious and friendly as we toured the property that he has been developing for over a decade. Our lodging had all the qualities of a cabin in the woods that we could imagine plus modern technology, a beautiful bathroom, modern kitchen, comfortable furniture, a vast bedroom, and a sheltered porches on two levels. David’s handiwork includes two fish ponds, a waterfall, and more features in progress. The camp is staggering in scope and execution, but David himself is the highlight.

Wonderful stay at this peaceful, beautiful lake house. The hosts were great in all communication and prep for our stay. Very accommodating and sincere. Response times were fast and thoughtful. Beautiful home and peaceful, clean lake. Well organized kitchen and very nice bedrooms. Upfront instructions and check out was a super breeze (no pressure to do a ton of chores like other places). Our family and dogs had an amazing stay at this lakeside home! The location is absolutely perfect—right on the water with stunning views. We took full advantage of the kayaks, swam in the lake, and spent our evenings grilling, relaxing on the expansive patio, and unwinding by the fire pit. The house had everything we needed for a peaceful and fun getaway. The host was also excellent—very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a relaxing escape

We stayed here for friends wedding in the area. Cabin was located just a short 20min drive and easily accessible. The cabin is small and cozy perfect for a small gathering of friends. It was raining most of the weekend so we didn’t use the outside as much but the backyard had a great view of the lake and had a nice little table on the stairs where you can just sit and enjoy the view. I would stay here again.
