Holiday rentals with breakfast in Susquehanna Township

Marlin's house was absolutely beautiful and The cleanliness was pristine. there were complementary items to use such as granola bars, shampoos and conditioners, lotions, even down to makeup removal pads. Everything was well thought out. The only issue that we had was the fridge wasn't cooling enough but he was very proactive in getting a repairman out within a couple of hours to take care of the problem. I am not complaining just using that as an example of how helpful the host was. This was our first family trip to Amish country and we wanted to get the best from our experience. This house was great to stay at since it is right in the heart of Amish country and surrounded by Amish farms. Plus, it is very convenient being only 5 to 10 minutes away from all the local attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved being able to sit out on the back patio that is screened in to enjoy coffee in the mornings. We will definitely keep this house in mind as our first choice for future visits

What a beautiful location! We were in town to go to the college’s graduation ceremony and I booked Norma and Wayne’s windy hill lodge. I arrived at 10 PM after a 9 hour trip, but what a comfort it was when I got inside (easy)! It was warm and inviting, lots of snacks and refrigerated items and a “lifesaving” chicken nuggets in the freezer — I was starving and hadn’t eaten since noon! The decor matches my love of horses (I have two rescued thoroughbreds!) the bedrooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable (my brother stayed the second night and he said he had a great sleep!) We both got a tour of the barn, admired the fields, and we loved talking to Wayne about how it all “worked”! We wished we had more time to just hang out there, but we had all the family activities one enjoys in Easton during graduation weekends! Thank you for everything!!!

KinderHawk Schoolhouse was absolutely perfect. My husband and I were looking for a peaceful place to unwind from our busy lives. This place delivered. The schoolhouse itself is quaint and charming. It has everything and more. The welcome basket was very appreciated. The surroundings are beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the patio watching the farm animals at the farm across the street and bird watching. We enjoyed the outside fire pit and also the indoor fireplace on the cool evenings. We hiked Hawk mountain which is 2 miles up the road. It has spectacular views. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. I wish we stayed longer. I can’t say enough good things about it.

Jonas and Elizabeth’s house was perfect for our stay. We booked last minute and were, instructions were clear and helpful. The house itself was clean, cozy and inviting and incredibly well stocked for whatever you would need on a trip. We loved the quotes and special touches to the decor, our two boys especially loved playing hide and seek in the house. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into the house. The outside was perfect for our dog to get his exercise and for us to spend time in the gazebo. Close enough to all the attractions we wanted to do but still felt like you were out of the city. Would love to stay again.

Our host was very supportive and helpful in accommodating our needs. My family will definitely be staying at this location in the future.

Great place for my husband and I while we visited our son in State College. Despite cooler temps this space was warm and cozy and met our needs for the weekend.

Barbara was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. She even had wine waiting for us. We loved the apartment and it was perfect for our needs! We look forward to staying there again!

Cynthia's place was exactly as depicted. Proactive communication. Great parking. Well lit outside. Very clean, organized, with many personal amenities, etc.... Only an overnight for us, however, definitely a peaceful and well cared for place to book for several nights. The personal touches show the appreciation Cynthia has for her guests. Serenity, a word that comes to mind. However, surrounded by tons of Pocono activities. Will definitely book again when in the area. George

I wold really recommend this place. Si was very reponsive and the place is really nice. We visited Philly for my daughter's graduation which was located about 15 minutes away. This is a new modern apartment and the sheets were very clean and new. Also the bathroom was clean with all the amenities like shampoo, soap, conditioner and lotion and toothpaste. The kitchen also has lots of teas and good coffee maker. One drawback is that there is no ensuite bathroom for the primary bedroom and stairs are narrow walkup. The parking spot is also just round the corner and paid for. The neighbourhood seemed safe at night but streets are very narrow so was good to have a large parking lot provided. We were also provided some $ credit to use at the Taylor's restaurant below and the food was not good - the burger was over done and the breakfast burrioto was cold when it arrived, the begal was not really a begal but an English muffin of sorts. The coffee and chicken sandwitch was good.

We were looking for a last minute family trip to Lancaster for a train ride and to visit an Amish farm. We were traveling with our 4 children under 5 and Dorothy was extremely accommodating. She offered us fresh milk from their cows and kept it raw by special request due to some of our kids lactose intolerance from pasteurized milk. The fresh bread and jam, eggs from their hens which we could see outside our kitchen window, made the homestead life seem so simple lovely and enjoyable (I’m sure it takes a lot of hard work to keep up with - they do a phenomenal job and I was so grateful to share a small moment of that). They provided a crib and an extra mattress on the floor for our kids. The space was cozy, very clean and we felt right at home. It rained for a little while we were there and Dorothy had legos and books available which the kids enjoyed. When it wasn’t raining we were able to walk their beautiful property. The kids really enjoyed the tree swing, playground and trampoline.

The Penn’s suite was adorable! We were there for spring Carlisle and it was the perfect stay. Lots of restaurants and businesses to walk to after the show! The traffic was a little nosy in the evening and early morning but nothing turning up the fan noise couldn’t help! Other than that it was an amazing stay! Kathy up front was so nice.

I can say this was easily the best hospitality experience I've had, either at an Airbnb or a hotel. We were in town for a wedding the location was perfect. Karl is beyond attentive we sincerely appreciated all the care he gave us as his guests. His home is beautiful, so much more than you'd expect at the average Airbnb. Thank you Karl, breakfast was incredible!

We had another amazing stay at Sara’s place and already know we’ll be making this an annual tradition. The space is warm, spotless, and incredibly comfortable — it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease. We loved starting our mornings with coffee, homemade treats, and those gorgeous dining room views. The swing set is such a fun touch, and the ever-expanding family of goats continue to be a favorite part of our stay. Everything about this visit was just as special as we remembered. Already looking forward to next year!

The Cozy Loft was exactly as advertised. Sarah and her family were perfect hosts. Unfortunately due to our schedule we were unable to take advantage of the outdoor space available. Thank you Sarah!

I can’t even begin to say how AMAZING Heidi’s bed and breakfast was. I’ve stayed in many air bnb’s before, but hers was truly my favorite. The pictures really don’t do this property justice at all. From moment you walk through the door, you feel right at home. Everything was so clean and well put together. She has clear instructions for using everything in her property. The room itself was beautiful, and the views around were even more prettier. Everything about this place was just perfect and I honestly can’t wait to come again. Her breakfast in the morning was so yummy, my 9month old son enjoyed it very much! Especially the pastry she makes, omg! So fricken good! I literally could write a book about how amazing Heidi’s place is, but you just have to book to see for yourself. She really is so sweet and we had a great time chatting with her. She has a bunch of pamphlets for local eateries, so we went to bluebird inn which was so good as well! Cannot wait to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at Bob and Pam’s charming home in Littlestown, just a short drive from Gettysburg. I was traveling with my parents, who recently celebrated their 60th anniversary as well, which made connecting with Bob and Pam—married for over 60 years themselves—even more special. The house is a beautifully maintained older home, full of charm and very comfortable. The beds were cozy, and each morning started with a delicious breakfast prepared by Bob. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with both Bob and Pam—they were warm, welcoming, and full of great stories and recommendations. The location is ideal for touring the Gettysburg Battlefields, and their local dining and activity suggestions made our trip even better. This was more than just a place to stay—it was a memorable, heartwarming experience. We highly recommend it! Thank you again for a wonderful weekend!

Rays air bnb was beyond immaculate!!! I was able to relax and enjoy a wonderful stay in the real countryside of Lancaster!!!! I would recommend one million times over!!!!

Lucille’s place was perfect! We needed a place to stay for a local wedding and her place was a peaceful retreat during a very busy weekend. The plants and flowers surrounding her property are stunning, the pond was a fun feature to have on site, and she had so many nice touches and amenities for us. I would highly recommend her place!
