Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Susquehanna County

This cabin is outstanding and was the perfect place for our family! We’re an Irish family so when we noticed the beautifully carved shamrocks in the wood, we felt right at home. My adult children & grandchildren had the time of their life fishing, swimming and kayaking. We had beautiful weather the first few days before rain set in. The house is fully stocked with everything and the welcoming S’more kit was great! Beds were comfortable too. My grandchildren literally cried when they had to go. Such a convenience that all the life jackets of all sizes were provided for us. This was our first family vacation with grandchildren and it couldn’t have been any better. Ryan was an excellent host to an amazing place!

That was an amazing stay! The apartment was clean and the host, Pamela was incredibly responsive and helpful. The location was perfect, close to where we spend time during the long weekend and the amenities were well equipped. Highly recommend this place!

Our family of three loved our reset at The A @ Dyson Pond. Whitney kept everything spotless—bathrooms gleaming—and the kitchen was so well stocked we cooked every meal with ease. Different types of coffee was available. A basket of toys greeted our 14-month-old and let us pack light. Whitney responded to our messages quickly. We didn’t need to ask tips, yet her list of local tips was waiting if we’d needed it. Mostly we stayed put—wandering the quiet, private grounds, letting the baby play on the grass, and admiring the nearby farms. It was exactly the low-key downtime we wanted. Tech comforts helped: fast Wi-Fi, a smart TV for cartoons, and flawless T-Mobile reception in an area where cell service is often hit-or-miss. The cabin itself is wonderfully cozy with warm wood touches. Note: the bedroom receives bright morning sun—ideal for early risers, though night owls may want a sleep mask. We left refreshed and already plan to return. Thank you, Whitney.

Minutes from Elk, the Wetter Homestead was a perfect home for our family during our stay. The minute you walk in the door you can feel the love that was fostered in this house—it just has a great vibe. The beds were comfy, it was absolutely spotless, and the kitchen was stocked with virtually any cooking implement you could need, all perfectly organized. Multiple spaces to hang out and outlets aplenty for charging electronics. We loved this home and cannot wait to return next season.

Theresa was a wonderful host with lots of communication. The house was perfect for our family who were visiting for my son’s graduation. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house had plenty of space. It was nice to be able to have some down time and relax together in between the ceremony and dinner. The setting was very rustic and relaxing - We were very happy with our stay and would definitely rebook -

We were very happy with our stay. We were there for a week. The kitchen is very large. The house is comfortable, and the host left plenty of instructions. She was very responsive and proactive with communication. The area is a rural beautiful setting. The house is a charming, old farmhouse with modern amenities.

It’s a lovely place to stay; lots books, beddings, other amenities, and the lake just across from the house. Check-in was smooth, and the host kindly accommodated a late check-out due to rain. One major detail that wasn’t mentioned was the possibility of bear sightings. Our kids had planned to camp out in the field, but after spotting a bear just outside house on the first day, we decided against tenting for the rest of the stay and kids prefer to stay inside after dark. A local mentioned that the bear might have come from the woods at the back of the property and such sighting are not common. Other than that, the listing was accurate and well-described.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at Jessica’s BnB! We loved sitting by the fire pit under all the lights while watching deer cross the yard! Definitely would stay here again and would recommend to others! An amazing escape from the busy city life!

I needed a place to stay while I was in transition and the proximity had to be close to my summer sailing club. Valerie's place is clean, comfortable and affordable. The property is beautiful. I walk daily and Valerie showed me a path that I can walk on her property that allowed me to do a mile loop. Valerie and Jim are caring and quiet. I had work to do while at the stay and I felt it was a peaceful place to concentrate and work. The Wi-Fi was incredibly great. If you are need of a peaceful getaway, Valerie and Jim's place is where you need to be.

The space was perfect. The house is kept very well and has anything you would need for your stay available. The outdoor area is great and the lake view is even better. Jim is super responsive and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, recommend it to anyone.
