Not enough kind things to say about our experience! So peaceful, Sarah is responsive, very clean and cozy. Great are for walking to the lake. Comfy beds. We highly recommend!

Great space, sleeps many! Only one bathroom and dishes for 6. 15 minute walk to the main area of Talkeetna, made for good exercise and quiet streets.

This home is located in a peaceful and private setting. The home is contemporary, but the furnishings give it an organic vibe. It has a great feel and is extremely cozy with a ton of natural light. The exterior deck is also quite nice. This was my second time staying and I enjoyed it thoroughly both times. It is within a reasonable distance to a many areas for outdoor adventures or even just a beautiful drive.

Stay was great for my daughter’s little birthday getaway. Plenty of space and loved the fire pit was able to enjoy the campfire and smores. Close to town and Montana creek. Definitely would come back again!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming Talkeetna home! The surroundings are beautiful, offering a peaceful and private retreat that’s still just a short walk to the heart of town. The nearby Talkeetna River offers stunning views of Denali on a sunny day! The house itself was cozy, well-decorated, and thoughtfully stocked, especially for families. Our kids loved all the games and toys available. The patio was one of our favorite spots, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee! Ora, the owner, was incredibly helpful and provided very clear instructions for check-in and everything we needed during the stay. She even helped us with a discount code to book a Denali flightseeing tour with Talkeetna Air Taxi, which is conveniently within walking distance. There are also plenty of great restaurants and food options nearby, making it easy to enjoy the local flavors. Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend this place.

Would 100% recommend this place. Clean, easy access, and quiet setting. We’ll go back if we are in the area again. Craig was a great host and responded quickly anytime we needed anything.

Cannot say enough good things about this AirBnB and its host/caretaker. Comfortable, convenient, excellent communication…my family didn’t want to leave. We would come back here in a heartbeat and wish every AirBnB was half this nice. 10 out of 5 stars!

We had a wonderful stay! Linnea was great with communication (definitely use google maps or the instructions she provides to find the house)! The place is absolutely beautiful and so restful, would definitely recommend!

The Stormy Hill Retreat was so perfect for our stay in Wasilla. Being able to borrow a canoe and paddle around the lake was incredible. Great views all over and such a peaceful place to stay. Rebecca was awesome. Would highly recommend staying here!

Apartment was exactly as the pictures portrayed. Brandy and her husband were friendly and answered any questions we had. The parking was right in front of the door which was great for my wife who walks with a cane. It was also nice being able to park under a carport which came in handy when it was raining the day we were loading our truck to leave.

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

Absolutely beautiful views! Wonderful cabin! It was exactly what we wanted. The listing is explicit about amenities and is exactly as described and pictured. No TV, no Wifi and not much signal. A beautiful escape from it all! Spacious kitchen with everything needed.
