Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Surrey

Had a great stay at this Airbnb. We had a whole family trip with children and elderly grandmother and the place was perfect with a bedroom downstairs as well as 2 bedrooms upstairs. Easy access to Little Italy and it wasn’t too hard to find parking even with a festival going on that weekend. Overall, would highly recommend for a clean spot in a great location!

I wish I could tell you how bad this place is, so I could keep this all to myself. However, this was one of the best places I have stayed at. The location is a hidden gem with quaint tranquility and peaceful surroundings. The home is nestled in on a gorgeous property that has amazing backyard and a spectacular interior. It's fully and beautifully remodeled, with modern updates mixed with some original fixtures that blend perfectly. The home is fully furnished and everything is top notch quality. We are already looking to find time to head back just to spend time in the area and in this home again.

This is a beautifully appointed Airbnb. The description and photos of the interior don’t adequately capture the peaceful nature of the decor in the house. Interior was perfectly clean. The location was perfect for our needs as it was close to the border. Easy to take a quick trip to Vancouver, BC. Beach access is walking distance. Canal behind the house smelled a little when the tide was all the way in (not something the host can control). Rosanna was very friendly and proactive in reaching out to see if we needed anything (we didn’t). We would definitely stay here again for proximity to the border!

The neighborhood seems to be undergoing some gentrification, but some travelers may feel it’s a bit sketchy. The convenience of the skytrain being so close is great. Leave your car in the driveway and use public transportation. Meg is super responsive and helpful.

Pav's place was easy to find. it was so helpful that Pav provided adequate checkin information and details including pictures. We would still.have found the checkin easy without the pictures but the pictures were such a helpful addition. Clean apartment with all needed amenities. Pav went out of the way to leave also some noodles for us. The location is private, peaceful and serene; close to nature with lots of trails close by. Parking was right by the apartment and this was such a blessing. We will stay here again next time we are in town 👍👍

Alpana's suite was perfect for a short stop over on our road trip. Close to the hwy, easy to find, and check in. Very clean space, really comfortable beds! Nice new place, lovely shower. Great value. Would highly recommend and stay again!

We had a great stay here for a girls trip! The property is so peaceful, and we even spotted some rabbits hopping through the backyard, it was very whimsical! It’s very close to the Cloverdale Fairgrounds, as well as lots of shops, restaurants, and pubs nearby. The suite felt adequately private as it has its own separate entrance from the rest of the house. Just keep in mind that the hammock pictured in the listing is situated towards the owner’s part of the house, so we didn’t end up using it. Google Maps and Apple Maps kept directing us/ Ubers to a random place across the street? So be mindful when using navigation systems to find the place! Overall a great, clean, and peaceful stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

'Hollywood North' is a bit of a misnomer - the home is much more classic, warm and comfortable, with owners who provide timely and helpful communication and assistance. 'West Coast Charm and Grace' might be more descriptive. The cost of the accommodation, though not unsubstantial, was well worth it. We were a group of 9 adults from 2 branches of one family who meet every Thanksgiving to reconnect. The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the 2 living areas, the dining room, the outdoor terrace, the swimming pool and hot tub, the gardens, and the very impressive kitchen all served to make the holiday one we will cherish. Everything you need to make the house your home was supplied - inspired us to stay in and cook as a family a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner! In short, a beautiful home and great hosts in a lovely setting. Could not ask for more.

Andy and Lydia were fantastic hosts. We felt welcomed and any questions that we had were answered very quickly. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were a breeze thanks to the clear instructions. The area is up and coming, and there are plenty of great spots just a short walk away. It was super close to downtown- easily and safely accessible by car/uber/taxi.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great accommodation and a good location with lots to do in the immediate area.

Great location, within walking distance to tons of restaurants on Main Street and to Riley Park (multiple playgrounds), Nat Bailey Stadium and Hillcrest Aquatic Centre (swimming pool is under maintenance until end of June 2025). Space was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a Pack n Play available. Anthony and Leatt are great hosts, very responsive and go above and beyond to help. Leatt provided a list of kid-friendly restaurants to visit while we are in town. I was also offered allergy medication after they learned that I was having severe allergy symptoms.

We had a wonderful time here! The location is great: right by a subway station, close to the waterfront walking path, and tons of great restaurants! The townhouse was so spacious and we felt right at home. I would absolutely stay here again next time I come to Vancouver!

Zuzana’s place is charming and beautiful, situated in a stunning neighbourhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. Zuzana herself is a charming and beautiful human, who took great care of us including meeting us when we arrived, leaving us some snacks to welcome us, was a great communicator and even found an item we left behind. There is no question we would stay at Zuzana’s place next time we’re in town for a few days. Thank you for your hospitality, Zuzana!

Beautiful home with all amenities! Comfy space.

The place was very easy to check in with a fob ready for me to use once I entered the unit. Very clean and organized with a beautiful view of grouse mountain and downtown Vancouver. I would definitely stay here again!! Oh yeah good free parking on east Cordova that is visible from the balcony.

LOVED this gem of a retreat. I mean how can you not love a sauna, kayak, hot tub, fire pit, and a spacious cabin that overlooks port moody. I wish I could stay for a month! And so cool, you take a boat to get to the cabin. I’ve been telling everyone at my work about this place!

I feel so refreshed after staying here and would absolutely recommend a visit to anyone who needs a break. The nature and peace of this home and location is everything. We saw so many amazing birds, I now understand the appeal of birding 😂. So many thoughtful touches and cute decor throughout the home. The views, the hot tub on the deck, heated bathroom floors, throw blankets, fireplaces, the fire pit in the yard etc. we really enjoyed just being here. Our host was the absolute best I have ever encountered. She thought of everything: welcoming snacks, the home was clean and a perfect temperature, she let us know about construction noise on one of our days gave us a discount for that day and a late checkout. We felt so taken care of. Thank you Eden and Allison Elizabeth!

This place was a gem! My partner and I share a birthday so we wanted a quiet place to relax it had everything and more! No detail was spared we couldn't have asked for anything else during our stay! Adorable community with pretty views, hot tub, hammock and fire pit were amazing. All the greenery outside and old growth trees were so relaxing too! PNW experience like no other! It was a lovely place to stay for a weekend! We'll be back for sure! Thank you!

What a cozy cottage! Location fabulous exactly as described. Host was very clear with instructions and made the whole visit relaxing.

Great location in Point Roberts. Quaint street and direct walkway to the beautiful South Beach. Felt at home. The king bed mattress was beyond marvelous. An A++ find for Point Roberts.

This is a log cabin that feels like it's in the middle of a cedar forest - except that it's actually steps away from a great coffee and lunch place, a dinner restaurant, stores, and many gas stations. A rare place that gets pitch black dark at night and completely silent (except for the occasional owl) so this was the best sleep I've had in a long long time. Despite being a "cabin" it's not bare bones at all - the kitchen is better equipped than many places I've stayed in cities. Point Roberts is bigger than you might think, so I rented an electric bike from Pedego just north of the border and covered the peninsula easily. I can see why people like living here, it's a special place.

The place was slightly dirty and dusty feeling, more like no one had been there for a long time. The mattress in the room with a view was very old and worn in and uncomfortable to sleep on. Besides that, everything was great! I feel bad even complaining about the cleanliness and mattress because we had an amazing time but feel like the next renter should know. the area and views were worth it all!

We had such a great time at Carraholly Retreat! The boat ride over was super easy, and the place itself was so cute and cozy. We loved the clean hot tub and spent a lot of time relaxing in the sauna - it was such a treat. Perfect spot for a quick getaway from the city. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!
