Bakhuisje aan de Lek

Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Sleeping in the studio

A nice sheltered spot to relax. The house is located in Numansdorp, in the quiet Hoeksche Waard. An island with beautiful polders and located on the Haringvliet. The island of Tiengemeten is a 10-minute drive away and well worth a visit! Within 20 minutes you drive into Rotterdam, a city that has much to offer. You will have access to the entire house during your stay and have a private garden at your disposal. The property has 1 bedroom and can accommodate families or couples.

Cozy apartment with unique elements

On the outskirts of Made in the municipality of Drimmelen lies our farmhouse. In the adjacent barn, there is a modern apartment on the second floor, where you can stay with 2 people. Away from home for a while, but it feels like coming home in this cozy environment. Of course, the apartment is full of comforts. Made's cozy town center is within walking distance. You will find cozy terraces and restaurants and the supermarket is also close.

Our modernly furnished stay has a living/bedroom, private bathroom and kitchen. You have a private entrance and it is on the ground floor. All to yourself. It has air conditioning for heating or cooling. A space with a bright and quiet look, great for relaxing. In a quiet neighborhood. Central to Rotterdam, the windmills of Kinderdijk (7 km), Ahoy-Rotterdam (13 km) and Gouda (13 km). Also nice by water bus to Rotterdam or Dordrecht.

You will enjoy a quiet and private stay in a charming cottage situated in a green garden. The garden is in the middle of Breda, with walking distance to the Central Station(150 meters), the city park(100 meters), the city centre with multiple restaurants and bars(500 meter). This stylish accommodation is perfect for you to unwind. Right in the middle of nature, by the water. Hiking, biking, working, relaxing. It can all be in our cottage in the middle of Hoeksche Waard island. But Rotterdam, Dordrecht and Breda are also a 30-minute drive away and can be easily visited from the location. The cottage is accessible by car via a dirt road and is surrounded by meadow.
