Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Stone Town

The stay with Kurtis was incredible. The place was absolutely beautiful (a real paradise). We truly felt at home. Kurtis was extremely responsive to everything we needed. We stayed for a month and worked remotely from the home with no problems at all. A great getaway for the digital nomad or someone wanting to disconnect from it all. 6 stars if I could give that. Thank you Kurtis!

We stayed at Eta's Airbnb last year and came back again because we liked it so much!!! The A/C in the bedrooms is great, I love the location, the decor and little extras are thoughtful and we love that the suite is on the main floor. The only downside this year was, the neighbours upstairs were louder than last year with a screaming toddler who was often up by 5:00 am. The master bedroom had windows facing the courtyard and it was very loud. I would still stay at this suite again though!!! Thanks Romain and Eta... see you next year!!!

Khalid was an excellent host. He was always responsive and answered all of our questions in advance. He are arranged an in house chef for our group at a reasonable rate. We enjoyed the pool and beautiful setting. The hospitality was good. Rooms were up to standard. The chef was sociable and ready to offer a helping hand. Host could monitor security by setting up Closed -Circuit Television (CCTV) around the facility.

Fantastic location on the ocean, with fabulous views from all terraces and especially from the upper outside deck. Great open plan living space with views and spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms . The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and discreet, always there to greet and assist. The property and gardens are really well designed and have a great flow. Superb walks to the reefs at low tide. The remote location provides great privacy and relaxation, highly recommended. We will be back!

The house is wonderfully private, making it ideal for a peaceful retreat, yet it’s close enough to explore Zanzibar’s many attractions. The host is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure every need is met. Her warmth, attention to detail, and local tips made the experience unforgettable. Our group of 5 was comfortably accommodated and spent so much time in the beautiful open treehouse upstairs. Even during the rain we were kept nice and dry upstairs. We enjoyed the food made by the private chef and all the staff were very accommodating and responsive! Visits from the dogs on the property were such a lovely addition. We felt very at home and would love to come back sometime, especially during another season when the swimming is better. Bonus - the sunsets from the gazebo around the corner from the beach were spectacular. Make sure you take advantage of the beautiful grounds and walks around the area!

The villa is beautiful and peaceful we had workers who made us breakfast, cleaned and cooked for us everyday The security guards were there 24/7 we felt safe , especially with the kids playing in the garden I wasn’t worried at all. The owner phoned me every day to make sure we happy with everything I would highly recommend it *******

I recently stayed at this lovely apartment near Stone Town, and it was an incredible experience! The location is perfect—close enough to explore the historic Stone Town but situated in a quiet and peaceful area, which made for a relaxing stay. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room to unwind after a day of exploring. It had everything I needed for a enjoyable trip. The host was absolutely wonderful! They were very responsive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Zanzibar. My wife and I had a wonderful 4-day stay at this lovely 2-bedroom apartment during the Eid holidays while visiting our friends and family in town. The apartment was clean, spacious, and very well-maintained—exactly what we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bedrooms were cozy, the living area was inviting, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a few home-cooked meals. It truly felt like a home away from home. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, yet conveniently located close to everything we needed. Our host was friendly, responsive, and made sure our stay was smooth from check-in to check-out. We genuinely appreciated the thoughtful touches and hospitality. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

The location was right at the city centre, close to most places, such as forodhani and the harbor. A lot of restaurants nearby and the place had amazing modern furniture. Looks exactly like how it is listed great place with great rooms and clean beds. Something I would recommend for a group of 4 to 6 people who would like to stay in the town and have a place that feels like home.

This is one of the best Airbnbs in Fumba Town! Neema is a wonderful host and everything is always ready for our stay. Would highly recommend!

Really great stay at this apartment, boutique feel and just like the photos. The complex where the property is situated is big but the host is easy to reach via message , phone call and inbox. Cleaner service every couple of days was a bonus. I stayed here with my family and was very happy and safe.

Communication with host Yussuf was seamless and timely. His responses were clear and concise. He gave us a good discount for our family of 4. The co host pendo was super kind. She checked us in and also took us to the pier restaurant for that much needed dinner by the ocean. She also recommended places to shop at in case we needed to. I can only recommend the place, from communication to booking, to transportation from the airport to the welcome and accommodation to the apartment, we were happy with everything. The family apartment provides plenty of space and excellent cooking facilities. The beds are very comfortable and the terrace is superbly adapted to relax in privacy thanks to the grown beautifully blooming bushes. Next, the generous breakfast included and 2 pools, at least one of which we had to ourselves at any time. The area is very well maintained, the pools are clean and the surroundings of the apartments are cared for. It's about a 5-minute walk to the beach, as well as the beginning of the village, where you can shop for everything you need, and also observe the local life while walking. Thank you so much to the owners and the entire staff for a great stay.

The staff was the best part of the stay. They were amazing, especially Dan. The property is next to the beach and in the middle of a village. Seeing the African culture and way of living mixed with paradisiac views…was riveting. Several descent restaurants in the area as well. Will definitely book again.

Incredible, serene and homely place in a quite neighbourhood with good security. Neat home, great furniture. I really enjoyed making breakfast in that kitchen, it had all the utensils we needed. And for the first time after a long while l got to eat breakfast made by my little brother, imagine. What an experience we had. Abdalrahman is a great host, always willing to assist and promptly responded to us. He even gave us good recommendations. Not only was Abdalrahman a great host, what made it even more special was that he partnered us with a great and reliable driver. We were picked up from the airport and that was the start of a memorable week. Yussuf (driver) took us to all the remarkable places and was also so helpful in breaching the language gap when we had to deal with other locals, he even taught us a bit of Swahili. We're definitely coming back!!!

The stay at Mars place was excellent. The place looked exactly like the images. It was very clean as well which I liked. Mars was a very responsive and helpful host and would highly recommend this place. It is a bit of a distance to get to stone town but if you are in no rush theres several available taxis and tuk tuks you can hire. Thanks Mars.
