Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Tanzania

Edwin the site manager was the best person we met since arriving to Zanzibar. A true gentleman and extremely genuine which can be hard at times to find when traveling. He felt like a friend and was the best host we have had through Airbnb. Would book again!

Judith was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Her assistant, Neema, was gracious and available for any request we had. The house is beautiful and the grounds are even more incredible with the covered porch and pool area, large yard with the sounds of a nearby river. The kitchen is well stocked. The master bedroom has a nice deck. It is a little ways out of Arusha but is gated and very quiet and private. The photos are great but don't do justice for how nice this place really is when you are walking around the grounds.

Our group really enjoyed the stay! The home was beautifully nested in nature, yet quite close to Stone Town for exploration. The staff were extremely attentive, helpful, and kind. Would recommend for future travelers!

The property was spotless and Juli went above and beyond by leaving some food and drink for us in the fridge which was a very generous gesture. Lovely gated property with security guards available 24/7 so safety was never an issue. Also housekeeping was available upon request which was very handy. Highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Jambiani/Paje.

Very friendly owner and helpful for giving tips if you are a stranger. The villa is absolutely stunning and private to you so you can have a peaceful time. 15 minutes from Nungwi where you can find a lot options. We will be back as my friends and I love the place. Thanks for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s place in Dar Es Salaam! The apartment was cozy, clean, and had a very homey feel. It was easy to find, and both the check-in and check-out processes were seamless. Maria was an exceptional host—always responsive and regularly checked in to ensure everything was to our liking. She even surprised us with a complimentary breakfast package, which was a lovely touch. Having a caretaker on standby for any additional needs was also incredibly convenient. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality

I had a wonderful stay at Agatha’s! The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and always available whenever I had questions. The communication before and during my stay was clear and detailed, with great instructions that made check-in and everything else seamless. The house itself was spotless — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with everything I needed. It felt like a true home away from home. I also appreciated the quiet neighborhood, which made it easy to relax and unwind after long days. Everything matched the listing perfectly, and I could tell the host really cares about creating a great experience for guests. Everything was in compliance, the quality of the residence is impeccable. The only problem is the surroundings, very local, and difficulties, but after 2 days you get used to it, the people are very welcoming.

Stephanie is a fantastic human being, she made my family and me feel super comfortable and welcome. Although we are locals, we enjoyed the treatment like we weren't, and it was great! The place is clean, properly managed, and secure. Her caretaker was also courteous and understanding and quick to fix any small issue that came up. Kudos to her!

I loved staying here for the weekend - super close to great restaurants, walkable to supermarkets, and a beautiful view out over the ocean. The gym is great and well equipped and the apartment itself was lovely - had everything I needed and a really comfortable, well setup space

This was an amazing stay! I loved how peaceful and calm it was, there was a beautiful patio all the amenities inside were nice and they had a wash washing machine which I found to be great! I can't recommend this place enough, especially since it is centrally located.

I had a very good stay. The location was great — convenient and close to everything I needed. The amenities were exactly as described and made the stay really comfortable. The host was always available and responsive whenever I had a question or needed anything, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience. Fumba Town is a very nice place to stay: close to the beach and not far from Stone Town and the airport. The apartment is very neat and with tasteful furniture and good facilities like a washing machine and vacuum cleaner. An umbrella came in handy too :-) because it was the rainy season. Kwetu kwenu beach club is nearby and chill with amazing sunset views. Highly recommended, the apartment and the town.

I can only recommend the place, from communication to booking, to transportation from the airport to the welcome and accommodation to the apartment, we were happy with everything. The family apartment provides plenty of space and excellent cooking facilities. The beds are very comfortable and the terrace is superbly adapted to relax in privacy thanks to the grown beautifully blooming bushes. Next, the generous breakfast included and 2 pools, at least one of which we had to ourselves at any time. The area is very well maintained, the pools are clean and the surroundings of the apartments are cared for. It's about a 5-minute walk to the beach, as well as the beginning of the village, where you can shop for everything you need, and also observe the local life while walking. Thank you so much to the owners and the entire staff for a great stay.

Great place to live, very beautiful area, big pool, and delicious coffee in the recreation area

I can't say enough great things about this place, and if we're ever lucky enough to return to Paje we will absolutely stay here again! The place is an apartment in what is really more like a gated community but it's also super close to everything so it's the best of the both worlds - We loved having the pool, communal working space, cafe, parking for our rented scooter, and laundry available and felt super safe because of the security. It was also really nice having a real space to make our own for the week, with a living room + tv, kitchen, and extra bedroom. The beach is a short walk away and there are tons of restaurants on the main the street that are actually better and cheaper then the beach restaurants. If you're only in Paje for a night or two and want to stay steps away from the beach or be right in the middle of the party scene, this might not be the place for you, but we saw a friends room at one of the beach clubs/hotels and were so happy we were staying here instead :)

Great place! Felt like home and safe location!

The staff was the best part of the stay. They were amazing, especially Dan. The property is next to the beach and in the middle of a village. Seeing the African culture and way of living mixed with paradisiac views…was riveting. Several descent restaurants in the area as well. Will definitely book again.
