Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Stone Oak, San Antonio

Lisa's cottage was absolutely the best home we've stayed in so far after years of staying in homes while on vacation. Everything was spotless, well stocked beyond my expectations, peaceful, very comfortable beds, comprehensive directions in a binder, and we enjoyed the view from the porch including seeing a turkey, deer, donkeys, cattle, and other farm animals that came to the fence line of the property. Lisa communicated that she was available for anything we should need during our stay. There is so much to do in the neighboring towns and many delicious restaurants nearby. We had a great week and would definitely return.

Christina actually saved our night. After overcoming a bad experienced with a different host, Christina accomplished our check in the same day and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this place it was very neat and clean. I forever found our traveled home when it comes to San Antonio. If i could rate this place i would give it a 100. Me and my family were so happy with the privacy and the ambiance of this community.

Cozy, quiet, clean, and comfortable! Perfect spot for our family. Really appreciated how clean and well equipped this house was. Beds were very comfortable and having coffee and snacks ready for us was an extra nice touch.

Great house in a nice, quiet area. Grocery stores, gyms, and restaurants are nearby too. Living room/kitchen is lovely, will be staying here again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was very well set up to accommodate guests and their pets. Our dogs loved the large enclosed back yard and the patio furniture that allowed us to sit while our puppies played was a plus. Ring camera for security, automatic outside lights at dusk, great shower pressure, very cool air conditioning, extremely comfortable beds, the location being close to many areas of interest - the list goes on and on. Communication between our hosts and myself was clear, responsive, and helpful. The value we received during our stay was well worth the price. We will stay here again the next time we have a need to visit San Antonio. I highly recommend anyone who may have a visit planned to this city take a look at what this home has to offer.

Salvador’s home is the epitome of a 5 star Airbnb! I have stayed at many Airbnbs and this one is tops! We were three golfers and we each had our own bedroom/bath. Sal has obviously heeded on either his guests’ suggestions or leans on his experience because his home has every little detail you can imagine. Here’s a small example: the main Living/TV room coffee table has rubber tips on the corners so kids or guests won’t hurt the knees or such by bumping into it. Beds are comfy, nice pillows, coean linen, clean house, all kitchen necessities but even more than the average Airbnb. Use of the garage to park in with a remote was a big plus. His home is in a gated neighborhood so it’s in a very safe area evident by the residents there walking, walking their dogs, kids on bikes etc. Restaurants and stores are literally a few blocks away but not in site. This home is located in an older residential neighborhood. The location is excellent as it's about 1 minute away from Hwy 281, which means you can get downtown and many other places quickly and easily. And it's close enough in town to avoid a lot of the traffic further out. The neighborhood is quiet with a lot of deer roaming around. There's a HEB and Target each within 5 minutes drive. The unit itself was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. We also enjoyed the hot tub, hammock and ping pong table during our stay. Overall, a great choice if you want a lovely place to spread out during your SA visit, with a good location and very friendly and responsive hosts. We're in SA often to visit family and will definitely stay here again!

The place was very well done with new furnishings and well-supplied kitchen. Loved the big screen TVs. Entire house was immaculately clean. Looks like the neighborhood is rapidly gentrifying. Just off a major road with all the conveniences and some nice restaurants. Short drive to everything but not really walkable. Would definitely stay here if I was back in San Antonio for an event.

This place is great and the hosts are amazing. Very well thoughtful additions to the Airbnb like snacks, cold drinks, coffee, and don’t forget the cookies waiting when you arrive. The house is super clean and private and exactly what we were looking for. Would stay there again without hesitation!

We have stayed in dozens of home. This ranks up there in the top 5, but the host is #1. What set him above the rest? I asked for an early check in. He said he would need to get back to me as the previous guest will be checking out the morning we are arriving. He advised that he put a reminder in his phone. Friday morning arrived and I didn’t need to follow up with him, he followed up with me just as he said he would do. That kind of follow through is HUGE! I am very happy with Jay! The place was immaculate, penthouse decor. Picture perfect!

Rene was a great host and the place was perfect! I felt right at home and safe as a solo traveler. Rene had quick response times, accommodated an early check in, and made checking out super easy since he handles everything. Would highly recommend!

House was beautiful and clean. Just as pictured. Host was extremely responsive and kind. Within 10 minutes to downtown, river walk, Japanese Tea Garden, and great restaurants. House is located by railroad tracks, so not ideal for a light sleeper, but our family didn’t mind. Neighborhood is not ideal for walking around, but we always felt safe and didn’t need to venture out unless we were getting in a car. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

I decided to do a mini staycation. So I wanted a place with a pool and large yard so we could just hang out for a couple of days. Huasong’s place was perfect! Everything listed was accurate. Bonus, pool came with floats & floating volleyball net and basketball hoop already inflated! We used the fire pit to make s’mores! It was great having a bbq pit to use. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and mini golf. There is also workout equipment in garage. What it doesn’t have are tv’s in the bedrooms, but that might be a good thing!

We absolutely loved our stay in the SKYHOUSE! Everything was perfect and absolutely spotless. It was by far one of the most peaceful and memorable stays that we’ve ever had. The host was so accommodating and welcoming. We loved it so much that we want to come back every year.

It would be difficult to find a place so close to one of the biggest cities in the country, yet at the same time feel like you have a view of nature as far as you can see. During our stay we saw deer, armadillos and foxes. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and split layout. Thank you!

Great experience! Our original place had an issue with the pool, so Sheila was quick to upgrade us with this listing. The house was clean and able to accommodate all 12 of us. It was close by to everything we needed and the pool was great for both kids and adults. We’d definitely stay here again.
