Outer Space Scottish Highland cabin

GurpalRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We stayed in outer space and had such a lovely peaceful time here! All instructions were very clear and there are many signs onsite which helped us to know where things were. Just one thing to note was that you don't get a key for your hut, so you do need to drop your valuables back in the car if you're concerned, although the location does feel very safe and private. We would definitely come back if we are in the area again.

A fantastic cabin in the middle of a picturesque area. Easy to drive to and packed with lots of places to go. Perfect for a place to stay whilst roaming around or for a cosy cabin weekend playing board games with friends whilst drinking whiskey!

Luxury Double Pod

FergusRating, 5 stars1 month ago
By far the best place I have stayed in Scotland for the price range. We rented pod 1 for the dog.Was securely fenced off to let our dog roam in the small garden area.Came with dog bowls and a squeaky toy! The pod was very well equipped tea, coffee, towels all kitchen utensils ect.Bed was very comfortable.Nothing in the pod looked worn or tiered. The shower had plenty of water pressure. Own parking space just at the back of the pods too which was excellent. View of Ben Ledi was amazing too. Only wished we had stayed another night. Would definitely recommend. Was well worth the money we payed.

Here: Here & Now luxury Lochside pods

RebeccaRating, 5 stars22 months ago
The pod stay with Natalie and Jamie was utterly superb. The pod was private and peaceful, in wonderful walkable surrounds, incredible scenery and we loved watching the sunset from the deer hide 🦌 and spotting birds with the binoculars. The pod was so well appointed and thoughtfully designed. Great barbecue and the fire pit was a treat. The bed was so comfy! Natalie was always responsive and flexible with us when we delayed our check in time. Thank you so much. šŸ™šŸ»

Now: Here & Now luxury Lochside pods

MohitRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The pods were wonderful! The views of the lake were absolutely stunning, and there’s loads of hiking spots around. The BBQ and the fire pit were lovely as well and easy to operate. The pods themselves were super clean and cozy with extra blankets for comfort. The host was also lovely and responsive, with lots of advice on local restaurants and hidden gems. Definitely recommend a visit!

Nettle Pod with Hot Tub

AbbyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had the most amazing stay here, it’s in such a peaceful area with amazing views. The pods are so cosy and homely. Doneil was a fantastic host and added such special touches to the pod for my partner and little boys birthday. We even got to feed their sheep in the morning, which was such a fun experience for our little boy. He’s already wanting to go back. Thank you for such a fantastic stay šŸ˜„

The Cuddies Thistle Pod with Hot Tub

ColetteRating, 5 stars26 months ago
Beautiful hidden gem….place is unreal ā¤ļø Doneil and John were fantastic host’s, both very friendly, attentive and approachable. We were delighted that we were invited to assist with the feeding of the goats and baby calf. Sorry for all the questions John LOL (literally asked about 100, one after another) which you had no problem in answering šŸ˜† The pod in its self was spectacular ā¤ļø very clean and fully equipped for our needs and loads of space for our family of 5. Beds and lounge area are very comfortable. Hot tub and fire pit are an added bonus with bbq utensils and firewood also provided. Taking in the views of the countryside and mountains are breathe taking and very relaxing. Short minutes drive to loch Loch Lomond. Will defo be back for another stay later in the year šŸ˜Ž Thank you for accommodating us and thank you for being so kind xxx

Unique relaxing escape with loch & mountain views

JoeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at the accommodation for two nights with our two children. It’s an absolutely lovely little cabin. It looks even better in real life than the pictures, sure it’s basic but it has everything you need for a short stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower was lovely and hot and the compost toilet worked perfectly. The log burner heated the room easily and we only needed it for a short time. The beds and sofa bed were lovely and comfy and we had more than enough battery lights to last the night. The cabin isn’t actually on Loch Long but it’s only a short walk down a very quiet road and there’s a rocky beach where you could paddle, swim, paddleboard from. If you want to eat out we had a fab tapas meal in Helensburgh. Enjoy!

Escape to an off grid bothy in Scotland with sauna

SamRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Things to watch out for before you start your journey. Request the additional directions and do not rely upon Sat Nav to get you there. Sat nav takes you down the wrong track and I ended up 1 mile from the Bothy in a field stuck at a locked gate. I didn’t notice the additional note about directions being supplied on request and went with the sat nav. It was also pointed out that low slung cars are not suitable for the track to the Bothy and this is also something I found out the hard way. Car took a bit of a battering especially with the extra journey of having to go back and find the correct track to the bothy. I just want to point out that all of the above was of my own doing and could have been avoided if I had requested the additional directions and paid heed to the warnings with regards type of car. Apart from all that the Bothy was exactly as described and really is an off grid experience. Beautiful surroundings and as long as you don’t get lost makes for a very relaxing stay

Loch Lomond Oval

AmandaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We booked this as our last location while visiting Scotland and I’m glad we did! It was such a peaceful way to enjoy our trip and not coming home feeling like we needed a vacation from our vacation. All the amenities were lovely! We used the tub numerous times, I meditated with the fire going, the fairy lights were magical. Overall, wonderful experience and I would definitely book again!

A magical off grid experience at The Bothy

AbbeyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Could not recommend an Airbnb more than this one. It was the perfect stay from start to finish. Matt was so helpful and friendly and gave us lots of good advice and instructions. The area was so peaceful, it’s such an amazing spot to unplug and relax for a couple days. So much land for our dog to run a muck! Thank you so much!
