Nous avons eu un bon accueil de la part de Mélanie. Le Croft est joliment décoré et agréable. A noter que les chambres sont éloignées l’une de l’autre. Melanie est une excellente cuisinière! Les enfants ont dévoré le chevreuil au dîner et nous avons bcp apprécié son fameux porridge au whisky!! Merci

We had a great stay in beautiful Balmaha at Fiona’s place. Easy walking distance down to the village shop/coffee shop and the inn for food. Really close to Conic hill as well so a great location if you just want to get up and get walking. We enjoyed a big walk up the hill and along a part of the West Highland Way. Fiona’s hospitality was fantastic. We enjoyed chatting with her and she gave us lots of helpful tips during our stay. Her packed lunches were amazing and she went the extra mile with a little bottle of prosecco and a cupcake for my partner’s birthday. Would definitely recommend!

Margret und ihr Mann sind sehr freundlich! Wir konnten uns gut unterhalten. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Die Unterkunft einfach, aber sauber.

Stuart's place is a real home from home! We were welcomed personally on arrival by Paul as Stuart had nipped out. Booking was very straightforward, Stuart responds very quickly and is very approachable. Our room was lovely, cosy and a lot of thought had gone into guest comfort. Both our room and the ensuite were immaculately clean. The bed was so, so comfortable, we slept extremely well which is not always the norm in a "strange" bed. Ravenswood is very easy to find with excellent off street parking. It is also within walking distance of the town. We have been coming over to Stirling since 2018, we love the area, there is so much to do and do many wonderful sights and restaurants. We would have no hesitation in recommending Stuart's place and we definitely look forward to a return visit.

My stay was wonderful! Easy check in, beautiful view, great location and a delicious breakfast. Jackie was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this spot to anyone going to Stirling!

Una gran experiència bed & breakfast a Escòcia! En George i la Sandra són molt simpàtics i acollidors. Ens hi hem sentit com a casa. Teníem accés al tea room, i al petit hall de les habitacions hi ha un microones, una nevera i per preparar-se te i cafè. Recomanem tastar l'esmorzar del George: deliciós i abundant! Anàvem amb una nena petita i ens ho van posar tot molt fàcil. Sens dubte, ho recomanem! Això sí, és un lloc amb història i rústic, en un entorn molt tranquil. Cal tenir-ho en compte!

we're so glad we discovered Brenda's place..our first trip to the area...and so relieved we didn't stay in the more busy, touristy hotspot of Loch Lomond. Loch Long has a beauty and peace of its own. The house and garden was a treasure trove, and Brenda's hospitality warm and welcoming...breakfast top notch!! We loved chatting with Brenda and Stuart...with the added treat of sharing an ad lib music session! Thoroughly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time at the Loch Arklet House. The place has all you ever wish for! The rooms were clean, the bed was super comfortable and we were provided with fresh water, cookies and, of course, tea and coffee on the room. Phyllis and her husband were the best hosts and you must try the full Scottish breakfast here. there is even an vegetarian option available. you should also check out the bunkhouse in foot- walking-distance for dinner and drinks (best burgers!). we definitely come back!

Margaret and Ken were wonderful hosts in this late May 2025. Their house is on a lovely site (there's a flower nursery outside; the view from the eating area is superb) which is very serene. Margaret welcomed us as soon as we arrived in the drive and made us feel at home. The room was clean and there were even personnal touches since it was our honeymoon. Last thing, the scottish breakfast was excellent, don't hesitate to try it. Thanks again for the stay, we will come again if we have a chance !

Melanie’s place was amazing!! We had a great time! The space is so beautiful and styled perfectly! Melanie was so kind and hospitable, welcoming us with tea and homemade chocolates! She even brought us for an incredible loch swim! The breakfast she cook us fresh from the garden was spectacular as well! Loved getting to know her and the other guests staying in the yurt! We had an amazing time thank you Melanie for a special and unique experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at Brenda's BNB. The room was as advertised, and was quite spacious. Brenda (and Snowball + Hermione) was hospitable and friendly, and we enjoyed the breakfast provided.

We had a very comfortable stay in Callum’s house. The house is located right on the Main Street and is very close to amenities. The house is finished to a very high standard and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was brilliant! Callum was very friendly and accommodating, would definitely recommend this for anyone visiting the area.

We made our reservation at the last minute and she wasnt expecting any guests. Despite being unexpected, she went above and beyond for us and made us fell at home from the moment we got in the door. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was amazing and just what we needed before we continued our journey along the WHW. Scottish hospitality at its finest.

Lovely spot. Great hosts. Overcame a reservation mixup with excellent communication and more-than-satisfactory results. Hope to be back.

Laura and Castlecroft B&B were a welcomed rest after a long travel day. Laura greeted us and gave us a quick tour and let us get settled in after arriving later than expected. She pointed us to a wonderful dinner spot and the next morning we had the best breakfast! We also came with our toddler and Laura made her feel right at home. Highly recommend Laura and the Castlecroft for a stay!

Good deal and excellent service. They let us check in early and we enjoyed the lovely space outside! Super convenient to restaurants and the WHW.

A fun stay in this quirky, Versace inspired "villa". Loads of effort had been made with Halloween which blended well with the lush decor. Pool table was an unexpected bonus. Great breakfast and friendly family/staff team. Nothing was too much trouble. A memorable night!
