Cottage holiday rentals in Stichtse Vecht

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

We had a lovely time in IJsselstein, it is a wonderful cottage with peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Jokelien was a fantastic host, very flexible and helpful. Can only recommend, would love to come back!

It was just nice. Perfect for a few days of relaxation. At check-in, Ellen explained everything to us and from there the relaxation already starts. Everything you need is there. There were plenty of towels and even bathrobes. And if you're lucky, the cat will even come over for a cuddle. We will definitely be back

We had a wonderful long weekend during Ascension. The cottage is equipped with all comforts – I could enjoy a cappuccino in the morning in the sun in the garden. But the best thing was the beautiful garden itself: perfect for young children. Our children, aged 2 and 4, have been constantly entertained. Everything has been laid out with great care and exudes tranquility. The hot tub was really the icing on the cake and provided extra relaxation. There are nice outings to do in the area, such as a visit to the mill and the farm shop. In short: an absolute must for families with young children who are looking for comfort, peace and nature!

We had a lovely holiday with six adults. Everything worked wonderfully. The hot tub is great! Everything was clean and exactly as it was described on the photos. The communication with the owner is great, she responds quickly and kindly. We would go back there anytime. One car can park right in front of the house, the other in front of the residential park in a free parking lot. The path is about 5 minutes - everything is easily accessible. Shopping can also be reached directly within 4 minutes by car. It is highly recommended.

Fantastic place with fantastic host. Claudia is the most easy going land lord, very communicative and helpful. For sure we will come back everytime when in in town AND - it was not our first time with Claudia's accommodation. Best recommendation from us!

We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay with Judy. She is very kind, courteous and available for all questions. The whirlpool was also great fun, we even had our privacy there❤️ If you want to escape everyday life and stress, I can highly recommend Judy's accommodations. I would be happy to come back.

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

John is very friendly and the apartment keeps what it promises in the photos. Johnnist is always easy to reach and also contacts you proactively. Thank you John, for the wonderful time in your cottage 😊

Angelique was a good and friendly host. She greeted us right on the street, so we didn't have to look any further for the accommodation. The cottage is very lovingly furnished. The location on the water is really good. You have your privacy here. We were also very pleased about the food provided. We had a very nice time.

I had a wonderful stay in Lindas Lodge. It was a nice peaceful charlet park that had everything that one could need. If you enjoy walking or hiking through the woods then you've got plenty to do here. The woods are nearly endless. There is a little public garden down the street that also sells things like jam, honey and so on. it's really nice. The Lodge itself has a cute garden, a comfortable living room and bed. The amenities worked great and if I had any question Linda was there to answer seem immediately. All in all a nice and relaxing stay!

We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Dennis and Annemiek have already given us a lot of information and tips in advance. Reaching the accommodation and checking in are explained very well. The hosts make a very positive impression. The place was great. The appearance matches the photos and everything was very clean. The location is very good, you can reach a lot on foot or by bike. We were very pleased :)

We had a nice time at Frank's. He was very accommodating and helpful when we reported 2 minor damages. The apartment corresponded to the description, as did the cozy outdoor area with 2 seating areas. The interior was very well maintained, the kitchen very well equipped. In short: we were more than satisfied and will definitely recommend him.

We had a fantastic stay in Rachel's forest cottage and fam. The perfect place to recharge and escape city life for a while. Rachel's cheerfulness and warm welcome have definitely contributed to that!

Nice little house typical of the Netherlands. Very well equipped and decorated, comfortable. Small pleasant garden. Erik and his family live there year-round so it is made to live in and it shows :-) A private parking space in front of the house and two bikes available. Very convenient for visiting the area by car or taking the ferry or metro to go to Amsterdam. The neighborhood is very quiet as it is quite far from the center of Amsterdam. To get to Amsterdam, the nearest bus is a 10-minute walk away. In total, it takes 30 to 40 minutes to reach Centraal Station by bus then metro or bike/car then ferry. Great welcome, very clean... In short, it's a perfect rental if you're looking for a quiet place near Amsterdam.

It was a great experience, quite, clean and peaceful. Highly recommended

Mechteld and Remco welcomed us wonderfully to the accommodation and picked us up by boat. The location of the house is perfect for a quiet and above all relaxing vacation by the lake. The house can only be reached by boat. There were four of us traveling and we all had enough space in the house. We were allowed to use everything the shed had to offer and were busy every day with boating, paddle boarding or swimming. We had a wonderful stay there and enjoyed the days on the terrace very much. In addition, day trips to Amsterdam or Utrecht are highly recommended, as it is never more than 30 minutes by car. Will definitely visit again.

We had wonderful days at Frederika's, the place looks even nicer in real life than on the pictures. Special highlight next to the incredibly beautiful view - the rowing boat! Which we were allowed to rent for free! Small but nice. Would recommend! Note: Wifi is certainly not required in such an environment, but would have made the stay even more pleasant. Thank you!

We had what we've been looking for : Convenient cottage in the countryside near Amsterdam. Peacefull place, the location is perfect if you want to visit Amsterdam during the day and be back in a countryside environnement. We have highly appreciatied the birds singing in the morning, looking to horses while drinking coffee and enjoyed the barbecue at night ! 10 min drive and you can take a train from Weesp to Amsterdam (and free parking at train station) , it's a really good way to do when you now air bnb prices in Amsterdam city center, and for sure noise and nature is much different there ! We would comeback anytime if we did not have others places to visit ! Thanks to Margret ! Highly recommended !

For our hiking weekend, Monique's cottage was ideal. We each had our own bedroom and in addition we had the sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. In addition, there was a spacious private garden area, which we did not really use because we were hiking during the day in the area of Lage Vuursche, Soestduinen etc. The facilities are fine, the cottage is cozy and also very neat/clean. Monique welcomed us and gave us the necessary instructions for our stay. In advance, the communication was pleasant, accurate and smooth. In summary, an excellent Airbnb, and we can only confirm what comes out of previous reviews. In short: recommended!
