Welcome to our family home "De Kraggehof", Nested in Belt-Schutsloot (close to Giethoorn), one of the less touristy places in the magical nature reserve 'the Weerribben-Wieden'. You feel immediately at ease upon arrival, due to the serenity of the environment and the inviting comfort of our farmhouse. We renovated the entire place this year to meet modern day standards of living, without loosing the historical touches of its rich history. We look forward to having you!

Guesthouse Het Monument is located on the first floor in the coach house of our national monument. It is in the centre of Vestingstad Steenwijk just steps away from the Market. There is a small terrace with a seat. Here, bicycles can also be stored. In the immediate vicinity, there are shops and restaurants. Nearby are Giethoorn and Unesco World Heritage Site The Colonies of Benevolence. Breakfast is available, €17.50 p.p. Children up to 12 years stay free, maximum 2.

Een prachtig houten huis gelegen op het erf van mijn ouders. Kom tot rust in een oase van groen van voorjaar tot begin najaar, een prachtig warm herfstgevoel wanneer de bomen van kleur veranderen of de knusheid opzoeken in de wintermaanden. In de prachtige omgeving zijn veel plekken te bezoeken. Giethoorn, vestingstad Steenwijk en de Havelterheide. Verder zijn er drie nationale parken in de buurt, NP Weerribben Wieden, het Drents Friese Wold en het Dwingelderveld.

The holiday home is located on a very unique place in Giethoorn North. Unique because it offers a beautiful and varied view of beautiful reeds, grazing mini sheep but also the romantic Molengat. The lake is part of the Weerriben-Wieden National Park. At a distance of 300 m you can rent a whisper boat with which you can sail through our water-rich area. You will then experience why Giethoorn is also dubbed "Venice the North".

The apartments Essenza (no. 19) and Marc O'Polo (no. 21) are located in the bustling heart of Meppel, amidst many restaurants, terraces and squares. The cozy, yet quiet Meppel (30,000 inhabitants) is located in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful villages of Staphorst (7 km), Havelte (10 km) and Giethoorn (13 km). These tourist attractions are also easily accessible by electric bike (for rent for €25 per day).
