Apartment holiday rentals in Steckborn

The accommodation is great if you are cycling along the Rhine or Lake Constance. It was very well maintained and clean and it had everything you need for cooking. When the salt ran out, Nancy helped out in a flash : ) There was a separate seat with its own table and chairs outside, so we were on our own. However, it would be very cramped in the apartment for four, so I would rather go with two. The village is small and quiet, the lake section very beautiful. It has something like three restaurants on the lake. We were particularly impressed by the campsite's bistro. There is no train, so I would definitely recommend coming by bike.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is lovingly furnished, everything is available in the kitchen and the beds are wonderful! The small terrace and the seating area with canopy in the garden are also beautiful. Gaienhofen is a good starting point for beautiful excursions around Lake Constance. Maria is a wonderful and very helpful hostess. We can only recommend the apartment!👍

Very spacious, bright and well-equipped apartment in a quiet location near the lake. Florian is very friendly and accommodating. We spent a few very nice days in the apartment.

We had a lovely time at Tanja's wonderful apartment. The apartment is nicely decorated, the bed is super cozy, you can sit comfortably at the dining table and also the small kitchen is super well equipped. Unfortunately, we were totally unlucky with the mosquitoes, this year it was probably really bad everywhere on the lake, but we as mosquito magnets unfortunately could not use the beautiful outdoor area. But Tanja and her husband were super helpful and even provided us with the finesse that the anti-mosquito industry is providing. In addition, the apartment is very carefully equipped with mosquito screens so that you have wonderful peace in front of the beasts inside even with wide windows. The location of the apartment is great, a fantastic beach very close, great in terms of excursions and in a few minutes by bike or with a small field walk you can reach a wonderful small supermarket, which is really well equipped.

Julia is a very warm hostess, with whom you immediately feel at home. The apartment is tastefully furnished, with beautiful individual pieces that create a special flair. The light in the apartment at any time of the day is to be emphasized and with the two balconies you will always find a favorite place. Everything is well thought out, functional and with sufficient storage space. Julia's standards for cleanliness are exceptional. We felt very comfortable during the week and would be happy to come back.

We immediately felt comfortable in the bright and spacious apartment and were very warmly welcomed by Manuela. We received many helpful recommendations, which we benefited from during our vacation. The kitchen is well equipped and has a long work surface with a view from the window. The large refrigerator is also very practical. We particularly appreciated the sunny morning atmosphere and the quiet evenings on the covered balcony. A really fine baker (who still bakes himself!) and the well-stocked Höri market are only 5 minutes away by car. Every day, the beautiful surroundings and the wonderful bird concert in the morning and evening inspired us. The beds were comfortable and two bedrooms also have access to the second balcony. From the water tower within walking distance, you have a magnificent view of the Untersee and the hilly landscape. We would love to come back and thank you for the great hospitality :-)

we had a wonderful week in a beautiful and complete apartment. If you love peace and nature, with plenty of things to do in the nearby area, this is your place! We would like to go back again, because we have not seen everything yet. Definitely recommended!

Everything is very high quality and modern - we were just amazed. The amenities are so complete, like at home. Nothing is missing. It goes far beyond the normal level for vacation rentals. If you need something (raclette, sled), just ask the landlord. Very helpful. The view from the apartment is excellent, sunrise behind the mountains... An exceptional luxury apartment in a great location in the Black Forest, a few minutes' drive to Switzerland.

The accommodation was exactly as described, spacious indoors and outside, with a fabulous garden looking onto the countryside. Unfortunately the weather wasn't warm enough to enjoy more than the hot tub - which was fantastic! There is a bus all the way from the property to the island of Lindau. The host was very friendly and helpful, at the same time giving us space. A brilliant place we would definitely recommend!

it was great to stay on the real farm!

We had a very nice vacation. The four of us are a bit cramped in the apartment, but that was foreseeable and we still decided to do it, especially in the summer you spend more time outside than inside. The opportunity to sit outside and have your own seating was particularly nice. The host was a very nice and accommodating person. We thank you very much for the great vacation and the beautiful apartment.

The place was very spacious for two people, it has an amazing view of rhe Constance area & the lake from rooftop balcony which also has a hot tub-it was a great addition and we used it every day. The location is good and easy to access the main locations on foot, is about 20 mins walk to the lake so if this is a problem for you then maybe look to stay closer. The circular stairs to the upper level are tight but ok, just remember to watch your head as i am 6 foot plus and hit it a few times! The unit was fully equipped plus light & bright. The upstairs bedroom did get hot (in summer) but was ok, the bed is big and very comfortable. There was a wine fridge with drinks for purchase which was a nice touch. Overall the place was very much as described & as per the pictures, and the hosts were proactive and very responsive. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others

The spacious apartment is in the middle of the countryside and suitable for all those seeking peace and relaxation off the streets. The towns of Überlingen, Salem and Meersburg were each about 20 minutes by car from the apartment. The communal pool provided a refreshing cool-down after the excursions. The warm hosts with their Australian Shepards Paco Q and Pearl have created a pleasant setting and were always available with good advice. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back anytime.
