Everything was good just washing machine was not working and dish washer wasn’t operating good and there was enough toiletries

This was a lovely cottage and a great getaway from a busy Chicago life. We only spent a couple nights but we brought my dog and we just wanted to chill for a bit. Soaking in the hot tub was a must! The backyard was completely fenced in so my dog could roam and investigate while we enjoyed the hot tub under strings of yard lights, creating a peaceful vibe. Loved it! We cooked a lot (inside) since the weather was cool and windy and the well-stocked kitchen was much appreciated. Great coffee machine (bring your own coffee!) and dishwasher. They came in very handy. Comfortable beds, clean linens, adjustable thermostat with easy instructions, extra blankets and pillows... all you'll need to feel at home. Thank you for a great time and we can't wait to come back. Next time we're bringing our friends!

This cabin stay was exactly as described and super charming! We were only there for one night but the area was very peaceful and we enjoyed saying hi to our adorable sheep neighbors. Linda, the host, gave great instructions and the cabin was easy to access. Wish we had time to stay a little longer! Thanks, Linda!

The return trip was even better than the first! We enjoyed the balcony, the woods across the street add to the relaxation. The uncrowded beach made the sunset even better

This place is a great getaway. If your looking for a place in Miller Beach area and want to see copious amounts of varying wildlife just hanging around then this spot is just what your looking for. The host Blake is very responsive and respectful. I stayed for over a week with my dog and he didn’t want to leave. You won’t either.

This is my second time coming here! It’s a great place to disconnect and get away for the weekend. Linda is a great host and great to talk to. I will definitely be back again.

Had a great stay with a group of my friends, was a nice private location where we could play music and have fun without complaints. Was close enough to city to be able to get Ubers. Host was very helpful and responsive as well as flexible with the time that we were checking in.

Great place to stay. It's clean and has everything you need. It's just a regular house which is great! It's not some over decorated attempt at being a vacation destination that you feel you have to tiptoe around to not break a bunch of decorative junk. Will definitely be staying here again if needed in the future.

Very clean and as advertised. You can get to the beach either through the scenic route, which is walking over some dunes (hills) or via a sidewalk on a street, with no hills. They have an app that provides a lot of information about the area.

Debbie's listing a great place to stay and very reasonably priced for a no frills, comfortable suite of rooms in wooded location just across a lane from Lake Manitou. The host was very gracious and responsive to any request we had. We have family in Rochester who we visit on a regular basis and we hope to be able to stay at Debbie's airbnb again.

I recently stayed at this charming 3-bedroom cabin with a loft, and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the coziest vibes. The cabin is beautifully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern touches, making it feel like a home away from home. The spacious open living area was perfect for the 6 of us. Each of the three bedrooms was incredibly comfortable, with soft bedding and plenty of natural light. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. Overall, this cabin exceeded all of our expectations. Kevin and Vicky were very responsive and kind. Will definately book with them again if in the area. Highly recommend!

Greg was an amazing host. He and his wife are clearly professional grandparents. The home was beautiful for our three generation family. The downstairs playroom was a life saver. The house was clean and well set up for guests. They wrote helpful notes and provided clear instructions. We cannot thank Greg enough for sharing his lovely home with us. We also loved the fairy garden in the trees and beautiful backyard. 10/10 recommend

We were hosting a bridal wedding party in the back (smaller) cottage. It was a perfect set up for a group of young ladies. It was the perfect slumber house with its open concept and lots of beds in the loft. Very clean and accommodating. Had everything that was needed.

Very unique spot for my 2 friends and I to stay for a night on a girls trip. The schoolhouse was clean, comfortable and lived up to its description. No kitchen but Janet was awesome and left some breakfast for the morning. Would absolutely recommend!

Bruce’s home was exceptionally clean and quiet. The space was perfect for our family of 4, including teenagers, plus guests. The front porch, backyard and yard games he made available were an added bonus. Bruce was quick to respond to questions. I would definitely stay here again when in the area and recommend to others.

Lorene was an amazing host. The home was exactly as pictured. It was stocked with everything needed plus some. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hosts! We were welcomed and given a full tour by the host as we arrived. The place was as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings, super safe area. Highly recommended.
