Waterfront holiday rentals in Stari Grad

Margita’s place was great for us— very close to the main strip on Hvar town, but just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. I spent 1 morning on the patio reading, and it was lovely. The washing machine works well. AC works well. Shower works well. I would recommend this place and I would stay again.

It’s hard to put into words how amazing this place is, the house is stunning and unique in its location and direst access to the sea! I was dubious when I saw all of the positive reviews but this home truly exceeds expectations. It’s beautiful, has great facilities and the beds are SO comfortable and the aircon works really well so it’s always cool. We did struggle to get around without a car but we were recommended a wonderful taxi driver who took us around everywhere! Can’t recommend this place enough and hope to come back again soon! Ante's apartment was way better than described. The pictures do not do enough justice to how amazing this apartment is. It felt like home right away. It is clean, well-equipped, and has a breath-taking view. It's a few minutes walk to the center where you can find great restaurants and everything. Ante was a great host. On the day of the check-in, he was there to welcome me and even helped with my bags, he gave me some recommendations on things to do in the area. His family live just below and they were really friendly each time I ran into them. This place is really a gem and it's great value for money. I will definitely look out for this place when next I visit Hvar.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Edgar and Jasminka’s beautiful home in Croatia. From the moment we arrived, their warmth and hospitality made us feel so welcome—it truly felt like a home away from home. The apartment itself was immaculate, stylish, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and the space was even more beautiful than the photos. The views were stunning, and the location was ideal for exploring the area. What truly made our stay special was Edgar and Jasminka themselves. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their kindness and generosity were unforgettable—we left feeling not just rested, but deeply cared for. Lovely accommodation , about 10 minute walk from all local restaurants. Areas to swim and sunbathe close and beautiful view from the balcony. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Dana and her husband went above and beyond to host us, including picking us up and dropping us off at the ferry. The condo itself is immaculate, modern, every single detail has been thought of. Location is great, quiet- but just a 5 minute stroll to the water and 10 minutes into town. We rented both units and my father stayed below (with Dana occupying the two floors in between). Completely separate entrances, very private. If you’re mobility limited, this isn’t the place for you — there are many flight of outdoor stairs to get to the top. Even with a 1 year old though, we didn’t mind. Dana also provided an immaculate travel crib, bedding, and high chair for our little man. We’re so so so happy with our stay!!!

Amazing location, great price, great apartment - the photos don’t do it justice, the bedrooms are really big - kitchen is small but the rest was great - and everything is super easy to get to and from walking distance. We loved it and I would definitely come back. Host was really friendly too and very responsive. Hvar is the best!

Wonderful Airbnb one of the best we have stayed in. Lovely apartment and stunning views. Close to all the restaurants and bars. Supermarket 2 mins walk. Loved the breakfasts. Katarina was super friendly. Would 100% recommend when staying in Bol.

Visited Vis once again. I was lucky enough to be able to rent this apartment again. It is just a beautiful little spot. It has everything you need, is sparkling clean and has the most beautiful balcony/ terrace. We landed this time a little outside the tourist season, and managed a few days with total silence, and afterwards to enjoy the sight of the many boats that docked, an absolutely fantastic experience again, especially if you like me to sit and enjoy the sight of life unfolding in the harbor, on water, on land and with the most beautiful view. Many thanks to Ana and her mother once again. We hope to see you again soon.

Lucija was very friendly and flexible, we were able to check in a bit earlier and check out later than planned, she was always responsive and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and air con worked a treat. Patio was lovely with great views

A truly idyllic place to unwind. We had a lovely week of swimming, kayaking and relaxing away from people (the property can only be accessed by boat so it is very peaceful and quiet). The host was very communicative - we can definitely recommend and would love to return to this unique property again!!

A lovely Airbnb stay on a beautiful island ! Host was very helpful and responsive with any queries had. Location was ideal as could walk to the beaches within 2 mins and boat to hvar was only 10 mins.

Absolutely amazing hosts and amazing accommodations, super clean and quaint place. renting scooters to get around was a game changer, bring snacks for the kitties :) taxi recommendation from host was easy to call up to get for nights out. you’re the only residents on the hill so enjoyed the privacy yet easily accessibility to Hvar and Milna via 5-10min scooter ride. Literally cannot say more about how awesome this place / experience was!!!! Wish we could include pictures of the view from the living room because it was breathe-taking. Would ONLY stay here when we return :) a few steps to climb and probably not recommended for older folks who can’t haul luggage up but totally worth it for the view, the house, and the amazing hosts if you’re able. We’ll be back next time!

I highly recommend this accomodation to anyone. We were super comfortable here and the balcony was Everything 🙌. The view and location is perfect. Car space right at your door. The bed was super comfy too. Kids were happy is a seperate room with the sofa bed. Very clean also. We will definitely return in future. The two Aircon’s are great. We Loved our stay 😊

Wonderful stay right by the sea! We really enjoyed our stay in this house! We received a very warm welcome on arrival. We immediately felt welcome. Dado, the father of the family, greeted us with a culinary surprise and let us taste his incredibly good olive oil. The location is truly unique: right by the water, with a wonderful view from the balcony and from the house's separated terrace on the other side of the street. We always had breakfast and dinner there. A few steps lead directly down to the rocky jetty, from where you can swim in the crystal-clear sea. The bay of Stomorska is just a five-minute walk away. The village is really pretty, had a small well-stocked supermarket (with fresh bread/rolls) open in mid-April and a nice little cafe/bar. We really enjoyed our stay as a family, it was a great vacation for us in a very special location and with a very nice landlord. We can only warmly recommend the stay!

Location was perfect! You walk down some stairs right into cobblestone alleyways and shops and cafes. Even around this area our unit was always quiet. The beds were extremely cozy and the view was beautiful. Internet and Netflix was easy to use and I loved being able to wash clothes! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Every was fine, communication, very clean the host and his wife was very welcome. Great stay!

We spent 14 wonderful quiet and relaxing days on Brac. Ana and Goran's apartment was a very nice starting point for discovering the island to which we were always very happy to return in the evening. In advance, Ana and Goran provided us with a lot of tips for our stay, but we could not all perceive them. There were several reasons for this. We had hoped for beach weather with warm water for mid-October and would not be disappointed. We had the beaches almost to ourselves due to the advanced season. We enjoyed this tranquility on the beaches and the beautiful weather. However, the small downside of the tranquility was that the bars on the beaches were all closed and also many restaurants in the places were already closed. But there was still plenty of choice and then we had Ana and Goran's very well-equipped kitchen. The suburb contact Gianni is very personable and helpful.

This is one little paradise. The house is located in a quiet part of the Basine near the town of Vrboska. The apartment has a beautiful view of the sea. During the day, you'll enjoy a courtyard full of flowers and the most beautiful color of the sea. And at night, you'll only hear the waves. This beauty can't be painted so you expect everything to be MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL than in the pictures.

We had an extremely nice stay and felt welcome the first minute with plenty of hints and a warm welcome! Everything is there and more than enough space available. Very clean & well organized! Also loved the outdoor shower to wash off salt water before going back to the balcony & apartment. Thank you for this!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Josipa's place. The property is only 4 minutes from the beach and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the balcony with the magnificent view of the sea. The pool and manicured gardens invite you to relax. The hosts are extremely sweet, kind and helpful. It was nice to feel welcome and they were always there for us with help and advice. Another plus is the possibility to do the laundry in the basement, which made our stay very comfortable. We are already looking forward to our next visit and highly recommend this place!

The most amazing hosts that go the extra step to make you feel at home and have all the conveniences, and also provided a list of local recommendations. We were even able to do a small load of laundry! Amazing view and quiet area, 15-20 minutes walk to Hvar old town along the waterfront. Easy access to parking. Very clean place and spacious. 200 stairs to the waterfront (5 mins walk) so not accessible but you also don’t need a high level of fitness. Would definitely recommend!

Antonia propose à very nice apartment, very spacious with all you need within. It is located in a secluded little village, with access to nice beaches. Antonia welcomes you in person , which is very rare nowadays in Airbnb rentals, and gives you useful information and also she is there too when you leave. Antonia is a great host, we’ve loved staying at her apartment. We definitely recommend it.
