Perfectly located for a day trip to Portland, Old Orchard Beach, Kennebunkport, Freeport, Kittery, Wells Beach, and North Conway, NH outlets. Beautiful views of the lake from each room, w/full kitchen, laundry, 3 TVs. As our guest, you will have access to a private boat launch. In the winter snowmobile, snowshoe, ice skates, or cross-country ski on the frozen lake.

Property is located on 36 acres, owner lives on site in a separate house with her 3 dogs, 1 exceptionally lazy cat and 4 rogue chickens (they may all come visit you!). Grounds have ancient apple trees, loads of perennial gardens with more in progress, berries and an organic vegetable garden that we would love to share from if desired. The house was perfect for what we needed it for. Clean, full kitchen, comfortable beds, and a nice outside deck with gas grill. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and we had a fire in the outside pit every night. There was a local firewood supplier four minutes down the road which was nice and convenient. Checking in and out was a breeze and talking to Triada was a pleasure. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the house to anyone.

We had a very relaxing stay at Carl & Rose's place. It was a very cozy space on a rainy fall weekend. Lots of fleece blankets, pillows and tea made us feel warm and welcome. The oversized reclining couch and 4-poster bed were super comfy. The height of the bed was a bit intimidating at first but quite luxurious once you sink into the soft supportive mattress. Great home base for exploring the beautiful scenery of Maine and nearby NH, especially with the leaves in full color.

The home was a central location to attend a wedding being held about 30 minutes away. The photos were accurate and had plenty of space for our family of 5. The two bathrooms were essential to allow us to all get ready for. Overall a great stay.

This renovated church made for such an awesome stay! The home itself is beautifully decorated and full of amenities. My family and I loved catching up around the firepit and enjoying meals together in the gorgeous kitchen. I could have lived in the shower. Our only complaint was how creaky the beds and floor are, but fully understand that that's just part of such a beautifully aged building. I've already recommended this listing to all of my friends back home!
