Holiday rentals with a fireplace in St. John's

We had an amazing time. The property was exactly as described. As nice as the pictures are, they simply don't do the scenery justice. As an added bonus, the house is located away from the main road, and is as quiet, peaceful, and private as you would expect it to be. Thank you again, Stacey!

This was my first time staying at an airbnb and I am so glad we booked with Krista. Krista immediately contacted me and keep in contact throughout our stay as well. Her home felt like home, so cozy and relaxing. Thank you Krista for a wonderful stay...we will be back and I have already referred your beautiful home with family and friends.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mad Rock retreat. From check in (with lovely treats), to the cosy style and amazing views. The hiking trail access and little beaches to roam in close proximity make this place a hiker/nature lovers dream. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Would highly recommend Mikes place. It was comfortable for 4 adults. The kitchen was very well appointed for us to make our own meals. Beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. The furniture and ornaments were tastefully done, I could easily have lived here.

This is a beautiful little salt box house and a gorgeous location. Perfect to experience a little Newfoundland culture. Be aware there is limited parking- the space is narrow and not deep so wouldn’t fit an RV, even class B. The bathroom is downstairs and bedroom upstairs. The house is clean and fresh painted and truly lovely barring these couple of small things.

Wow what a wonderful weekend we just had at this beautiful getaway! It was perfect for us. The air bnb inside was beautiful everything was so clean and comfortable. The outside WOW unbelievable. We literally spent the entire weekend enjoying the beautiful backyard only to go in to get ready for outings and to sleep. The view was beautiful, the pond was full of ducks which was beautiful to see, and in one of the large trees in the backyard was a crows nest with babies we would sit there and watch the momma go get food and come back to feed them. We felt like we were in a world of our own. It was so private and peaceful. You couldn’t hear a sound just the noises of nature which was beautiful. We started our day with morning coffee outside and ended our night with a lovely dip in the hot tub. It was perfect I couldn’t have asked for anything better. We didn’t need to contact the host for anything as everything you needed plus some was there at your fingertips. We will be back!

Fantastic spot - loved a morning coffee on the back deck overlooking the harbour. Short walk to George Street if you want to get screeched in, just as short stumble home afterwards. Right downtown and easily accessible for those Uber rides to Quidi Vidi, Avalon Mall and Signal Hill. Would definitely recommend and will use again personally

Spent the night away for my birth weekend, it was exactly what I needed. A small quiet cozy place to just unwind and recoup. The hot tub was a beautiful way to end the long day. Will be booking again in the future. Thank you for a beautiful peaceful stay

Great place to stay! close to shopping and restaurants, yet far enough away from the busy main streets that it's quiet and peaceful. The place was immaculately clean and cozy. Sharon was responsive to any questions I had. Would definitely stay here again.

Cal‘s place was a magnificent stay. It is in a perfect location in the heart of St. John’s. The bedrooms are large and bright. Beds are super comfortable. Everything was clean and welcoming. The kitchen and sitting room area are very welcoming. Cal was very responsive to my questions. Highly recommend

Darryl’s place was very clean and comfortable. This is a basement apartment with the owners living upstairs. They provided us with lots of privacy and we did not mind being in a basement apartment. Darryl is very kind and responsive. This location is very private and peaceful!

Jean is a great host. She was very friendly and very responsive to any questions I had. The place is lovely and has a wonderful view of the valley. I would definitely recommend her place to anyone interested in visiting the area.

We fell in love with Brendan’s place and felt completely at home since we got there. He was extremely flexible and accommodating with us! The house is immaculately clean and full of charming NL touches. It had everything we needed and even a cute patio off the kitchen. Thank you for making our trip to St. John’s so special :)
