Rocky - Eco Cottage on the Edge of a Rainforest

Comfortable, wooden (studio) cottage on the edge of the rainforest at Animal Farm & Nature Reserve. We are off the beaten track with no vehicular traffic and can be peaceful and quiet, but can also get quite noisy with the sounds of the numerous chickens, guinea fowl and other birds on this working farm. Ideal for the naturalist, bird watcher or for anyone wanting to get away from it all for a while- just 30 minutes from Montego Bay, but light-years away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Deya place was truly a gem. We had such a great time! It was spacious, and the staff were friendly and kind. The food was amazing! This was the first resort I’ve stayed where the food was really good. The views were spectacular. The balcony view and watching the blue ocean was the cherry on top. I will say that I would suggest to rent a car because taxi is very expensive ($150-250) and it’s also a bit far from the excursions, however you can go down the Mobay strip where they have some entertainment. Only thing is that there was some stains on the blankets and it would have been nice to have new ones but other than that I would highly recommend!

I just left Sheena’s fantastic Airbnb, and I couldn’t be happier with my stay! Her place was truly luxurious and even more beautiful than the photos. The decor and personal touches she added throughout the space made it feel so warm and welcoming. Sheena went above and beyond as a host, offering additional services like cleaning and even massage—what a treat! I also loved the Jamaican snacks she had on hand, which really made me feel at home. The location was perfect, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. I can’t recommend Sheena’s place enough—she made my trip extra special. Thank you so much, Sheena!

I booked this beautiful place for my Ex Husband who was flying in from Australia and needed the perfect, peaceful and safest area to stay. Upscale Neighborhood,Contemporary apartment,very safe,very clean,easy check in,remote gate,5 minutes drive from the city. The overall experience was great 👍 will definitely book again 🌟⭐️✨️🌟

The place was quiet, felt safe, and had a serene atmosphere. The apartment itself was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with the rooftop patio as a beautiful bonus. The price was fair, and getting in and out of the scenic areas by rental car was easy, with plenty of parking available. I appreciated the 24/7 security at the entrance—it added an extra layer of peace of mind. The on-site pool, bar, and convenience store were thoughtful touches that made the stay even better. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with.
