Kid-friendly holiday rentals in St. George Island

We loved staying at High Tides Good Vibes. We had a beautiful view of the ocean, with beach access only a short walk (less than a block) away. The kitchen had what we needed to cook in, the local piggly wiggly had fresh ingredients and other items needed. Very relaxing location, quiet/peaceful. Great spot!

Fantastic house and location! We really enjoyed the privacy and views. It's set far enough off of the road to be quiet except for a little bit of traffic sounds during the middle of the day. The 2 decks are great options for enjoying the outdoors at different times of day. We did find some issues with biting bugs at certain times, but it's Florida. A screen on the smaller deck could be a great addition. The bedrooms are roomy and very comfortable. Also the options of 1 king or 2 queens are not the norm and were perfect for our family. There are lots of nice amenities such as kayaks, beach chairs, games, etc. Doreen was very quick to respond to questions leading up to our stay. Absolutely recommend this place and would stay there again.

Island Memories was just that - wonderful memories for our family on St. George Island! The house was perfect for our family: mom, dad, grandma, and two boys (2 and 5). It was cozy but felt large, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Each bedroom, even the bunkroom, having a bathroom was perfect and all bedrooms felt spacious. The beds were so comfortable and we had more than enough bedding and towels. The house was clean and bright with all amentities promised and more including the pantry stocked with the basics. It also had all the cookware we needed and beach supplies galore. It was very kid friendly including some books, toys, and a high chair. And the gate on the porch was invaluable, it allowed us to truly enjoy the porch without worry. The pool and outdoor area were beautiful and the perfect size. And you cannot beat the beach accessibility, the access directly across from the house was worth every penny! We loved the home SO much and will absolutely be back.

Our family of four had a great time at the Skinny Mini. All the rooms were very roomy, comfortable, and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and the dishes were beautiful! The couches were very comfortable. There weren’t any beach chairs or umbrellas, so be prepared to bring your own. We only had neighbors on one side, so it wasn’t too bad, but the closeness of the homes makes it very difficult to have any privacy. If you’re traveling with pets, you’ll have to take them across the street to the small green area as there is no grass or any place to take them under the house or behind it. We definitely recommend it!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! Very friendly and always happy to help with any questions. Great quiet place, but not far from anything you need. Can't wait to go back and stay again!

We have travelled to this area for years and this is by far the best house we have stayed at. Gorgeous house, plenty of space for our big family. We had a blast with the golf cart, E-bikes and video games. Beach chairs were in excellent condition. House was beautifully decorated. My only complaint is they made us leave , I could have stayed forever LOL . Even accommodated a late check out. Communication is top notch. We will definitely be repeat customers . Thanks Darin for the best Mother’s Day a mom could have.

We had the best time at Michelle’s place! Not only was Saint George Island beautiful, but her house was perfect for us and our best four legged friend 🐶 Michelle was very communicative and responsive during our entire stay, which is always reassuring when away on vacation and staying in someone else’s home. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting SGI ❤️

The beehive was the perfect stay for my wife and I's anniversary and it hit all the marks we needed. I wanted a quick getaway near Tallahassee, check. I wanted us to be near the coast, check. I wanted to be an exclusive house and not a hotel, check. And then I wanted to be able to explore a new area where we can shop and enjoy a small Florida town and not a major tourist trap, check. The room was very clean and modern and the setup had all the amenities for an extended stay. We felt safe and the area was very quiet even though it was very close to downtown and gave us plenty of choices to go to being between St. George Island and St. Joseph's Bay.

Donna’s place is beautiful and so reasonably priced! It is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. We loved it and had a wonderful time in Appalachicola! Also went to nearby St. George Island and Port St. Joe!

Amazing. The place is located in a terrific area. Lots to do and the way even the interior is decorated is fully above and beyond! I highly recommend Channon as a host and her property as a must stay!

Perfect location and easy walk to most of downtown apalachicola. Quaint little room with everything we needed for our short stay.

Couldn't be happier with our stay! Lovely place to stay while visiting the beach. The place was perfectly clean, very easy to find, and both the bed and pull out bed were comfortable. Plus the front yard is absolutely GORGEOUS! If we come back to Panama city and this place is available we will definitely stay again

We loved by the historical building and property, we had an issue and it was resolved immediately, so no real problem. This is a older building right on the river

We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home. Everything was incredibly clean and well cared for, which made it so easy to settle in and relax. We were also blown away by all the extra touches — from the selection of books and card games to the thoughtful toiletry items you provided. It really made the stay feel so welcoming and personal. The second story condo, was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for two older adults bicycling in the area on a short stay. There are two pleasant and private balconies. One overlooks the bay and the other overlooks the boat docking area. We enjoyed sitting at the table on the bay balcony for snacks, coffee and the big water view. Pleasant breeze and few annoying sand gnats. You do have the same expansive view from the inside as well, which is a nice retreat. This gated grounds area has several different buildings. All seem well kept and it was very quiet on our weekday stay. It was convenient to the bike trails we wanted to ride and the two state parks, Bald Point and Ocklocknee, that we wanted to visit. The internet access was adequate for us, we did have to reconnect occasionally. The place was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our stay in a low key part of old Florida that is fast disappearing. Would return for another visit. Easy place to like.

My husband and I enjoyed 3 wonderful nights here. It was so peaceful and relaxing! Loved walking to Angelo’s all 3 evenings. Great drinks and wonderful food. The place had everything you needed to be comfortable and also to cook a great breakfast. We will be back very soon!

This place is conveniently located in downtown Apalachicola to shopping and local eateries. The place was clean and accommodating.
