Holiday rentals with a fire pit in St. Clair

My friends and I needed to find a place in a pinch and we found Leslie listing which was perfect for our needs. As mentioned, the house is older but everything worked as advertised, we all had a comfortable place to lay our heads and enjoyed our stay without issue Leslie was a fantastic communicator - kind, prompt and helpful. All around great experience.

We had an amazing time at Franny's peaceful and serene cottage! The fall colors were stunning, and we loved the beach (a bit of a steep hike down, but worth it), where we even found fossils and semi-precious gemstones. Our dog had a blast playing with their dogs, which made the trip extra special. The cottage itself was rustic, spacious, and cozy, with good internet, though there was little to no cellphone signal. One of the nights, the host prepared for us a lovely campfire. The beautiful cliff views of Lake Erie were unforgettable and made us want to come back again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place for any season. This was one of our favorite airbnb stays. Helena is an excellent host. The space is clean and thoughtfully decorated. Many books, a fireplace, extensive views of Lake Huron from most windows: we enjoyed every minute here. We especially liked the amazing stove, the sunrises, boat and bird watching, the lower stair deck, and kayaking. We explored the shoreline in both directions. Definitely recommend!

Alex was an excellent host. The home is clean and spacious. We stayed here on a last-minute trip, and it comfortably fit 4 adults and 2 children.

Great gathering areas both inside and outside. Nice view of the Pine river. Having four separate beds and two bathrooms was essential for our golf trip. All necessities for our stay were provided. Very comfortable accommodations. The kitchen and bathrooms are modernized and very clean.

The church was a fantastic place to play with the kids. There is lots of room for activities making it much more fun than a hotel. We played hide and seek for hours! The church is a bit drafty in cold weather, but there are plenty of additional heaters provided. It remains comfortable if you are prepared for it.

Nick is a great host. We had a crazy late check in, and he didn’t sign off until he knew we were squared away (2:00 am). The location is nice and close to everything you want to do in downtown, but kinda tucked away and quiet. We would definitely stay at Nick’s again.

My hubby and I wanted to get away for a couple nights because it was our anniversary and this place did not disappoint. It was quiet, clean, close to a couple towns for shopping, close restaurants that were excellent service and delicious food as well as a river that was <5 minute walk that you could watch the sunset at. We would definitely go again. Hosts were great and very easy to contact.

We had a wonderful stay at Charlene’s! The apartment was carefully put together and had everything we would need or want; we felt right at home. The hot tub was a lovely feature and Charlene’s breakfast was excellent. We can’t wait to come back!

The place was fantastic. Her directions with pictures made it really easy to find. Check-in was super easy. The place was extremely clean and well stocked. And very quiet. She was extremely responsive. Check out was a breeze. Didn’t make the guest do tons of cleaning. Can’t wait to stay there again soon. was absolutely perfect.

Such a big space, bigger than the photos show but cozy at the same time. Space for everyone to do their own thing. Everything is on one level with a couple of stairs leading to the well stocked bathroom. A great and unique place to stay.

Karen was incredible. It was the perfect place to stay. She was beyond accommodating and it is an adorable room with kitchen and bathroom. She went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I highly recommend and will always stay here in the future!

Awesome spot in a very walkable neighborhood. The building is quite old but the space was very clean and comfortable. The AC was nice and cold, the shower had great water pressure, and the bathroom had plenty of towels and extra shower supplies. I will definitely stay here again.

The Phunky Pheasant suite is my go to place to stay when I visit Detroit for work or pleasure. They are extremely hospitable with their snacks l, drinks and delicious homemade cookies. They were even gracious enough to provide their cookie recipe! I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and spacious home! Our family of 8, ranging in age from 3 to 60, felt completely comfortable and at home from the moment we arrived. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable family getaway. The grandkids especially loved the toys and play areas—it made a big difference having a space where they could have fun while the adults relaxed. We had plenty of room to gather, laugh, and create lasting memories as a family. It’s not always easy to find a place that works so well for a group of all ages, but this home exceeded our expectations.

We had a great weekend getaway for memorial weekend and celebrating my sisters birthday! They went above and beyond and helped decorate the house before arrival and it could not have been more perfect! The boats were great! The house was in tip top shape! I have no complaints and we made amazing memories! The hammock was also an added bonus!!

The pictures made it seem bigger than it actually was but overall, it was a very cute and peaceful place to stay. They gave recommendations for places to eat, shop, and get coffee along with providing the necessities for living while there. The layout is wonderful for a little vacation to just get away from the noise. We were given a lot of privacy while still feeling like we could ask for anything we needed. When we had questions all I needed to do was ask and I got a response within 5 minutes on two different occasions. Very pretty and well taken care of. I would definitely reccomend it to anyone looking to get away for a while.

This was such a special stay and I can't say enough positive things about Jerald's boathouse on the canal. I only had one night there and hated to leave. The photos don't do the space justice, with so many thoughtful touches, tremendous design, and deliciously comfortable furniture. I arrived to a family of geese with little geeselings swimming by and woke up to the sunrise over the water. I loved the quiet community of the canal, with a few boats quietly cruising by, and just wish I'd had time to take the canals out for a treat. Jerald was so helpful with check in and local recommendations. I loved everything about this beautiful little retreat!

This Airbnb in the woods was absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful—just the escape we needed. The home was fully stocked with more than enough amenities to keep us entertained throughout our stay. One of our favorite highlights was game night! There was such a great variety of games provided, making for hours of fun and laughter. Every detail of the space felt intentional and welcoming. We truly felt at home and will definitely be booking again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect in nature.

The cozy cottage was exactly as advertised - it is quaint, unique and full of rustic charm, the perfect place for a private getaway. It’s especially great for those who love the outdoors, we made use of the kayaks and campfire pit through our stay. It was a nice surprise to see lots of wildlife, including birds, fish, turtles and 2 swans while on the canal! Only a 10-15 drive from both Blenheim and Erieau where we enjoyed the beach, local restaurants and ice cream spots. Paulette and Brad were great hosts, sending a message ahead of time to ensure that we knew how to get in. We really appreciated the personal touches, including the snack basket and extra toiletries. Paulette and Brad were responsive and friendly. We look forward to coming back!
