We had a lovely stay here! Super quiet, slightly away from the Main Street but still very walkable to the beach. The complimentary breakfast was some of the best food we had on our trip - we loved it! AC didn’t get very cool but the temperature was fine wirh the fan for us. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Ich war für drei Nächte dort und habe mich sehe wohlgefühlt. Asela ist ein super lieber Gastgeber. Ich wurde immer gefragt, ob ich Frühstück und/oder Abendessen haben möchte. Er hat mir eine Safariorganisiert und all meine Fragen beantwortet. Am Ende hat er mich dann auch zur Bushaltestelle gebracht. gerne wieder

Es war wunderschön dort. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch. Das Frühstück ist im Preis mit drin und es war mehr als genug für eine Person und sie ist auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen, einfach großartig. Kleines Minus war der Wäscheservice den ich dort in Amspruch genommen habe. Ziemlich teuer und die Wäsche war noch feucht... Aber die Unterkunft und die Kommunikation ein Traum- gerne wieder

The design is quite unique and one gets the feeling of being at home, as soon as Faust welcomes you.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit hier. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die gesamte Familie gab uns das Gefühl, zu Hause zu sein. Sie haben super schnell reagiert und wir haben sehr lecker gegessen. Sie haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und wir wurden sogar zu unserer nächsten Unterkunft in Arugam Bay gefahren, da das ursprüngliche Taxi abgesagt hatte. Ich kann jedem empfehlen dort hinzugehen. Wir hoffen, wir können wiederkommen.

Die unterkunft direkt am wunderschönen Strand ist seeehr empfehlenswert! Alle leute waren stehts äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das essen im hotel zählt zum besten Essen was wir in Sri Lanka gegessen haben! Wir haben uns von Minute 1 an wohl und zuhause gefühlt! Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen! I had the pleasure of staying at the nine Mirissa for 4 nights. The building itself is absolutely beautiful, a modern feel and a gorgeous view from every floor. The pool area is big and allows for a relaxing morning. The rooms were spotless with a huge bathroom and comfortable bed. The real star of this accommodation is the staff ; the chef, the floor staff, the security, gardeners, cleaners, everyone was always so friendly and willing to help. Greeting you every time and checking in with your stay. The Sri Lankan breakfast we had was absolutely delicious also. It felt as if we almost had the whole place to ourselves, such a special stay in a great location.

Amazing place, the staff were all super friendly and helpful to help organise tours. Accommodation was great and loved the pool!

If you want to do a safari in Udawalawe park, this is the stay you need to book. Super friendly people, amazing apartment (the views are incredible) and they organized a safari tour for us which was amazing. Our driver knew a lot about the wildlife and helped us stay away from most jeeps!

Das Jungalow ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, vorallem mit dem Pool und die schöne Aussicht in den Regenwald, wo man auch immer wieder Affen und diverse andere Tiere sieht. Die Gastgerber Familie ist extrem nett und hilfsbereit, ich habe selten solch freundliche Menschen gesehen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

A little piece of heaven… We had the most beautiful stay at Meraki — such a peaceful and special place. The vibe is truly magical, with that serene Bali energy — greenery, beautiful design, and an atmosphere that invites you to slow down and breathe. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh, healthy options that made every morning feel like a treat. We also joined the yoga class, which was amazing — grounding, gentle, and held in such a calming space. If you’re looking for a quiet escape to recharge, surrounded by beauty and care, I can’t recommend Meraki enough. It felt like a little sanctuary.

Such a wonderful hidden gem - feels like you are in a private oasis. Perfect mid point between Welligama and Ahangama. Very kind hosts and delicious breakfast!

Better then the pictures. In the middle of the forest, monkeys are jumping around (they never came close or took something). We felt welcome, really nice stuff! Especially Harry were attentive and cared for everything. You will have a great stay!

Wir haben uns bei Andrew ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt. Er ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter und ausgesprochen netter Mensch. Die Unterkunft war eine unserer besten im gesamten Urlaub deswegen haben wir auch nochmal verlängert. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut einen wunderschönen Strand zu Fuß erreichbar und sonst kann man alles sehr gut mit einem Scooter oder TukTuk erreichen.

Wonderful view, English-looking house and cozy room. If you have your own transportation (scooter is great ) it is a great base for exploring and absolutely ideal just because it is isolated with a breathtaking view which is why we chose it.

Wir verbrachten 3 Nächte in den Dune Towers. Kurzer 5 min Weg zum menschenleeren Strand. Unser Doppelzimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück in der Unterkunft war sehr lecker genauso wie das Mittagessen und Abendessen. Thanseem und seine Jungs sind sehr freundlich und kümmern sich um die Organisation vor Ort. Auch eine Delphinsafari und eine Massage konnten wir über ihn buchen und hatten Glück und haben hunderte Delphine gesehen. Auch unsere täglichen Strandgänge wurden von den Hotelhunden Diggy und Similla begleitet, die sehr liebevoll sind. Wir haben unsere Zeit in den Dunetowers sehr genossen und können diese ausnahmslos weiterempfehlen. Wer etwas Zeit zum Abschalten benötigt, ist hier genau richtig, da rundum nicht viel geboten ist. Nur die Sand flies haben uns das Leben etwas schwerer gemacht. Ansonsten würden wir hier auf jeden Fall wieder kommen 👍🏼

Loft Ahangama is prob one of the best places to stay in Ahangama. It’s right in the center so you can walk/cycle anywhere including midigama and Kabalana. All the restaurants and bars are in front. But the best was def the beautiful rooftop that we could always come back to and hang weather in the middle of the day/night and stare into the ocean. Def be back again

We where very happy with the hotel. It was clean and we missed nothing. Good restaurant with fair prices and the staff was extremly friendly and helpful. Very good location to start your safari. Its just 3 minutes from the entrance of the park. The host arranged a safari for us and everything worked out perfectly. We got picked up at the hotel and the guide was super friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the wildlife.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the location is absolutely perfect, very close to Hiriketiya Beach and the apartment itself is stunning! The staff on reception were brilliant, so kind and helpful. I’d recommend Patrycja’s place to anyone staying in Hiriketiya!

Gorgeous place! I’ll be back next season for sure but with my partner and toddler. I saw so many couple with babies and young children, and groups of friends. Really nice place for all kinds of groups of people :)

We stayed a week at Slow Life boutique hotel. It felt very safe and contained . Our room was lovely upstairs with a little balcony ,air conditioning and our own bathroom. Everything was very clean our sheets and towels were changed . The common area was available but when in the hotel we spent more time in our lovely cool bedroom. Marissa was interesting to explore . The southern end of the beach was a lot calmer to swim in. It was great watching the surfers at the northern end of the beach . The only thing that wasn’t available was facilities to cook our own food . But that was fine as there were so many lovely places to eat in Marissa. Our hosts organised a scooter for us to use . Thanks very much for everything.
