We had a lovely stay here! Super quiet, slightly away from the Main Street but still very walkable to the beach. The complimentary breakfast was some of the best food we had on our trip - we loved it! AC didn’t get very cool but the temperature was fine wirh the fan for us. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Cheap. Nice location. Comfy big bed. Room smelt a bit damp is only drawback. Good shower. Good location.

Place was simple and sufficient. Host was welcoming and cooked a really nice breakfast. Overall amazing stay , would recommend.

Amazing and the most breathtaking view, the view of the waterfall and hills is heavenly. Amazing breakfast every morning. Excellent communication and local recommendations. It’s a perfect little paradise.

If you are looking of an oasis and an awesome hideout away from the busy streets of Hikkaduwa you found your place. Traveling can get exhausting, chanakas place is perfect if you feel like staying at home, reading and enjoying some private life in your cabanas. The design is quite unique and one gets the feeling of being at home, as soon as Faust welcomes you.

We had a very nice time here. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful! The whole family made us feel at home. They reacted super fast and we ate very tasty. They went to a lot of trouble and we were even driven to our next accommodation in Arugam Bay, as the original taxi had cancelled. I can recommend everyone to go there. We hope we can come back.

Die unterkunft direkt am wunderschönen Strand ist seeehr empfehlenswert! Alle leute waren stehts äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das essen im hotel zählt zum besten Essen was wir in Sri Lanka gegessen haben! Wir haben uns von Minute 1 an wohl und zuhause gefühlt! Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, superfreundliche Gastgeber und auch das Personal ließ keine Wünsche offen! Im Restaurant gab es eine grosse Auswahl an leckeren Speisen, ein kostenfreier Wasserspender steht den Gästen ebenso zur Verfügung! Auch die Auswahl an Getränken war hervorragend, von Lime Soda über Bier, Hausgemachten Säften, Longdrinks und Cocktails alles da was das Herz begehrt…. Die Zimmer sind mit liebe eingerichtet, tiptop sauber und mit Klimaanlage sowie Ventilator, Safe und Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Direkt an das Grundstück angrenzend erwartet den Gast ein kilometerlanger wunderschöner Strand. Eine Wildlife Tour würden wir jedem der hier Urlaub macht dringend empfehlen, der Sunset mit Picknick auf dem Elephant Rock war sehr schön! Dringende Herzensempfehlung hier ein paar Tage zu verbringen (auch in der Nebensaison!!)

Amazing place, the staff were all super friendly and helpful to help organise tours. Accommodation was great and loved the pool!

I had the pleasure of staying at the nine Mirissa for 4 nights. The building itself is absolutely beautiful, a modern feel and a gorgeous view from every floor. The pool area is big and allows for a relaxing morning. The rooms were spotless with a huge bathroom and comfortable bed. The real star of this accommodation is the staff ; the chef, the floor staff, the security, gardeners, cleaners, everyone was always so friendly and willing to help. Greeting you every time and checking in with your stay. The Sri Lankan breakfast we had was absolutely delicious also. It felt as if we almost had the whole place to ourselves, such a special stay in a great location.

If you want to do a safari in Udawalawe park, this is the stay you need to book. Super friendly people, amazing apartment (the views are incredible) and they organized a safari tour for us which was amazing. Our driver knew a lot about the wildlife and helped us stay away from most jeeps!

A little piece of heaven… We had the most beautiful stay at Meraki — such a peaceful and special place. The vibe is truly magical, with that serene Bali energy — greenery, beautiful design, and an atmosphere that invites you to slow down and breathe. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh, healthy options that made every morning feel like a treat. We also joined the yoga class, which was amazing — grounding, gentle, and held in such a calming space. If you’re looking for a quiet escape to recharge, surrounded by beauty and care, I can’t recommend Meraki enough. It felt like a little sanctuary.

Such a wonderful hidden gem - feels like you are in a private oasis. Perfect mid point between Welligama and Ahangama. Very kind hosts and delicious breakfast!

Better then the pictures. In the middle of the forest, monkeys are jumping around (they never came close or took something). We felt welcome, really nice stuff! Especially Harry were attentive and cared for everything. You will have a great stay!

Wir haben uns bei Andrew ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt. Er ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter und ausgesprochen netter Mensch. Die Unterkunft war eine unserer besten im gesamten Urlaub deswegen haben wir auch nochmal verlängert. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut einen wunderschönen Strand zu Fuß erreichbar und sonst kann man alles sehr gut mit einem Scooter oder TukTuk erreichen.

Wonderful view, English-looking house and cozy room. If you have your own transportation (scooter is great ) it is a great base for exploring and absolutely ideal just because it is isolated with a breathtaking view which is why we chose it.

We stayed 3 nights in the Dune Towers. Short 5 min walk to the deserted beach. Our double room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast in the place was very tasty as was lunch and dinner. Thanseem and his boys are very friendly and take care of the organization on site. We were also able to book a dolphin safari and a massage through him and were lucky and saw hundreds of dolphins. Also our daily beach walks were accompanied by the hotel dogs Diggy and Similla, who are very loving. We enjoyed our time in the Dunetowers and can recommend it without exception. If you need some time to switch off, this is the place to be, as there is not much to offer all around. Only the sand flies made our life a little harder. Otherwise, we would definitely come back here 👍🏼

We where very happy with the hotel. It was clean and we missed nothing. Good restaurant with fair prices and the staff was extremly friendly and helpful. Very good location to start your safari. Its just 3 minutes from the entrance of the park. The host arranged a safari for us and everything worked out perfectly. We got picked up at the hotel and the guide was super friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the wildlife.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the location is absolutely perfect, very close to Hiriketiya Beach and the apartment itself is stunning! The staff on reception were brilliant, so kind and helpful. I’d recommend Patrycja’s place to anyone staying in Hiriketiya!

Gorgeous place! I’ll be back next season for sure but with my partner and toddler. I saw so many couple with babies and young children, and groups of friends. Really nice place for all kinds of groups of people :)

We loved staying at your airbnb! It was the perfect ending to our trip. Sad we had to leave! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Hikkaduwa!

We stayed a week at Slow Life boutique hotel. It felt very safe and contained . Our room was lovely upstairs with a little balcony ,air conditioning and our own bathroom. Everything was very clean our sheets and towels were changed . The common area was available but when in the hotel we spent more time in our lovely cool bedroom. Marissa was interesting to explore . The southern end of the beach was a lot calmer to swim in. It was great watching the surfers at the northern end of the beach . The only thing that wasn’t available was facilities to cook our own food . But that was fine as there were so many lovely places to eat in Marissa. Our hosts organised a scooter for us to use . Thanks very much for everything.

Easy, clean, calm. We liked out stay very much, the pool is clean, the room ambiance is soothing. Host welcomes you with a smile, the food is delicious, everything is very considered. I recommend it!
