Family-friendly holiday rentals in Spielberg

The only negative thing about our stay was that it was just way too short ;) We enjoyed the time incredibly! No wishes were left unfulfilled and Gerald welcomed us very warmly as a host. The surroundings are simply awesome, whether hiking in the hills behind the house or chilling by the lake or paddling with the rowing boat or, or, or... just beautiful!

We enjoyed the chalet very much. Milena was waiting for us on arrival and greeted us very kindly with a bargain. You and Jernej also supported us very well during the stay with tips on activities and questions. The amenities are very good, everything is available, e.g. bed linen and towels - you have nothing missing. The chalet is beautifully located as a single building in the forest and is therefore pleasantly quiet - only street noises from the nearby road and noises from the heating, which constantly starts, are clearly audible The house is very well located as a starting point for hikes in the beautiful nature. Highlights for us were the pool and the location in the forest - highly recommended.

We spent 6 days in the apartment, everything you need was there, including towels and bathrobes. The apartment was clean and the view was gigantic. There is a very tasty pizzeria, Lärchenhof, nearby. You can use all the amenities of the hotel, such as pools, sauna, entertainment for kids, etc. Bread service or half board/full board can also be booked individually. The guest card offers many discounts. We found the stay very nice and will definitely come back! Our kids would have liked to just stay there ;) thanks for the great time!

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

We had the most amazing stay in this chalet. It was very clean and well equipped for a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The scenery is beautiful and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. The family are very friendly and we loved the sheep surrounding the property fence, they were so fun to watch. The accommodation is perfect! There are all kinds of amenities, enough space and everything is clean. The sauna and jacuzzi are an absolute highlight and very easy to use. The accommodation is super cozy. I can recommend it to everyone.

We - a family of 4 with 2 children (11 and 7) plus grandma & grandpa - enjoyed the 5 days in Mirko's chalet to the fullest! The house is great and keeps what the pictures promise. The children loved the hot pot and spent every free minute at the nearby wildlife enclosure. On the last evening, we were able to admire the solstice fires on the opposite mountain ridges. We enjoyed the tranquility very much. The nearest supermarket is just a few kilometers away by car. The house and the kitchen are super equipped, nothing is missing! We can only highly recommend the chalet and will be happy to come back! Mirko is a great host who responds super fast to messages. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay. Make sure you make use of the bikes provided by the host, they are great for getting around the area!

The Ascher-Hütte corresponded exactly to the descriptions and fully met our desire for peace, seclusion, relaxation, deceleration in the middle of nature. We found everything we needed in the cottage. For someone like us who consciously seek simplicity and want to be self-sufficient, the stay is pure joy! Everything was clean and tidy. Marianne was always very friendly, gave great excursion tips and tips where you can go for great food. Your Kaiserschmarrn was divine:) We thank you for the great hospitality and thank Marianne for the beautiful conversations.

Roman and Milena were very gracious and frendly hosts. They had special treats when we arrived and were very informative about the local hikes and restaurants. The location is just magical. So peaceful and beautiful! The cottage is well equipped and spotless! There are even slippers available for guest use! Very thoughtful. We hope to come back sometime for a longer stay. The house is very cozy and perfect for an outdoor / fitness holiday. The gym is well equipped and the sauna offers the perfect relaxation opportunity. Angelika and Jürgen are super friendly and accommodating, check-in and check-out were smooth and communication very fast and always warm. We especially liked the hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. All in all definitely extremely recommended!

The cabin was amazing, Mita is a great host and checks you in and shows you to the cabin which was helpfull as we arrived in the evening it was dark and would have been more difficult if he didn't guided us. The rooms within the cabin were extreamly comfortable and both bedrooms had a balcony which gave outstanding views of the mountains around. This is the perfect location if you enjoy hiking or walking as there are many trails and mountains that's can be hiked. It is an extremely peaceful area, I would highly recommend.

Very lovely place, perfect for couples. Maybe not ideal for summer months as there is no air conditioning and the apartment is on the top floor. Good location, there is public transport nearby. Enjoyed my time there.

The accommodation was very nice, original and cozy. You feel like you are part of nature, the surroundings are quiet and really suitable for a stay with small children. Samy is very hospitable and communication with him was pleasant.

Everything was super nice and quiet. The private lake access equipped with loungers and even a pedal boat was simply perfect. We had a few great days, unfortunately too few. Would have liked to stay. Cycling is great and you can use the garage to park. I'm sure we'll be back.

After a little struggle with finding the place, not really the fault of the host's directions, the reward was enormous. not a big space but the views were astonishing. The space was adequate, with functional kitchen and amenities and beautifully presented, but it was the outside which makes this place amazing. We didn't want to leave and neither will you.

The stay was very calm and peaceful surroundings. You just hear the sound of birds and mountains look like they also sleep in the night and you get up in the morning with fresh air from Nature. 100% Recommended.

The apartment fully corresponds to the photos in the listing, it is located on the 3rd floor and grants a superb view of the lake from a side balcony, which can be reached in 2 minutes from the apartment. The arrival was hassle-free and the reception staff very accommodating. The pool and the sun loungers on the jetty can also be used. Overall a great stay, the contact with Eberhard was uncomplicated, he responds immediately to questions

Absolutely amazing mountain hut in stunning scenery. Teresa and Stefan have put in loads of work so that you can get back to basics, slow down and live it up in natural luxury! Thoroughly recommend Danke schon!

This apartment was a gem! The scenery was gorgeous. Our place was spotless and the blinds and patio were awesome. Christina was very communicative and quick to respond. She even left suckers on the kids’ pillows. The kids garden and pool were also very nice. I would recommend this place to others.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house near Lake Bled. The host met us upon arrival, gave us a warm welcome, and shared recommendations for exploring the area. We also rented electric bikes from him, which was a great way to discover the surroundings. The house itself was very comfortable and well‑equipped — we especially enjoyed the grill, which was a nice addition for making dinner. The host also organized a rafting trip for us, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. All in all, this was the best accommodation we stayed in during our trip, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We would love to return!
