This has now become an active family farm that requires land and livestock maintenance on a daily, you may hear a bit of noise during daylight hours, unless it’s a holiday weekend when my kids visit, those weekends can get a lot louder. I have been trying to keep my kids quiet for nearly 38 years…..if you’re a parent, you understand. Ha. It’s beautiful here, and your comfort is top priority. Our centrally-located tiny home is just 2.5 miles south of I-40 & a few miles from restaurant row & TTU. Burgess Falls state park & Window Cliffs State Natural Area 5 miles away. Cummins Falls 11 miles. Cookeville Boat Dock Marina on Center Hill Lake 9.5 miles (kayak/canoe to Fancher Falls from the marina). Our family of 4, along with numerous cats and 3 dogs, lives here on 3 acres, so there’s plenty of grass for your pet(s). Quiet, relaxing atmosphere to rest for a day or stay a week!

The Sparta House is located in downtown Sparta but with almost an acre right on the Calfkiller River, you'd never know it! It's the best of both worlds. Walk to great coffee shops and pottery studios or fish from the back yard or bird watch from the sun room. There are many amazing waterfalls and superior hiking spots all within a 15 minute drive. searched for a peaceful private tucked away spot for a short getaway and this place was perfect and provided all we needed. it's proximity to town and fun along with its price point checks all the boxes. the house is well furnished and all the needs are met and well thought out. Ours was a short stay but given more time we would have had the opportunity to take advantage of all the place has to offer. the only negative there was for us was being just the two of us that television upstairs would have been nice but I understand the positives that set up creates for larger families staying. can't wait to find an opportunity to come stay again. thanks for a nice weekend!

This Vacation home is wonderful. It's private and welcoming. The home is well appointed and the kitchen has everything you would need if you choose to cook. We loved the kayaks and the ability to explore on the river and fish. Our hosts were readily available IF needed and extremely communicative. They gave us great ideas about where we could go hiking. We enjoyed Brothers Tavern for a nice dinner. We also enjoyed Frank's for delicious sandwiches and smash burgers. We appreciate the opportunity to stay and look forward to coming back.

Me and my husband loved this little home! It was super cozy and perfect for the two of us! It had beautiful scenery and the hiking tails near the house is a must!! While there we visited Burgess Falls, and Fall Creek Falls. We loved that it was just right down the road from Buccees!! Highly recommend Carol! Hope to stay again in the future!!

We loved our stay in the Tiny Shiny Retreat. My daughter wanted to going camping to celebrate her 5th birthday and was so excited about staying in the Tiny Shiny Retreat with bunk beds. The camper was decorated beautifully and felt like a special getaway. We went to Center Hill Lake, did some fishing and swimming, went to Burgess Falls State Park to hike, grilled out at the camp site, had s’mores, birthday cake, and just enjoyed being outside. My daughter said it was the, “best birthday ever!” Thank you for helping make her birthday special! We truly enjoyed our stay.
