Lovely, spacious , well appointed cottage in lovely village. Spa shop and pub very close. Although on a main road in the village we found it quiet in the cottage. Very comfortable beds. Would recommend.

Although I didn’t meet Rachel, I did meet her husband Adrian. What a great bloke! This house has everything you need and more! Pool table, darts board, karaoke machine, jacuzzi, small pool and even flashing lights! Ady was super responsive and helpful.

This was a lovely spacious house with lots of rooms to spread out socially. The pool was the most amazing feature. The host met us at the property to show us how the pool worked and to give us the lockbox code. They were friendly. They let us know we could message them if we needed anything, then they left us to our own privacy. You might need to bring a spare towel so you have one for the pool and one for the shower. Tea and coffee were provided but you need to make sure you have some milk with you. There was toilet roll, And kitchen roll. Washing up liquid. You might want to bring a box of tissues for General use and some multipurpose cleaning wet wipes. We had a lovely stay and we will definitely be returning.

Gorgeous cottage inside and out Owners are on site but you wouldn’t notice. The swimming pool area felt like we were on holiday Hot tub, built in BBQ area and lots of outdoor space

Place is very nice and all required things available for a pleasant stay. Host Yasmin is very friendly and takes care of all the requirements of the guest. Room is big and we enjoyed the stay with family. Local shop and bus stop in walking distance. Cheshire oaks just 15 minutes away. The area surrounding the property is posh and beautiful. Absolutely beautiful, stylish caravan. Felt like a luxury hotel. Quiet spot, direct and easy location. The hosts were absolutely marvellous and have provided a clean and enjoyable space. Very quick to respond and extremely helpful throughout. A hidden gem both the owners and there beautiful accommodation.

We had such a fun time! The accommodation was beautifully designed and a great set up to enjoy our birthday with friends. We enjoyed the hot tub, and a great spacious living room space for us all. The host had excellent communication with quick responses to help me with anything I needed. We want to come back and try the other accommodations they offer. Was such a fun experience, and our friends loved the feel of the house and set up.

Really enjoyed our stay in Ian's place , lovely little bungalow in a peaceful area. spotlessly clean , well equipped kitchen . lovely bathroom & lounge area. Garden was great for our dog to run around , nice sitting area in garden. Great communication with hosts, would not hesitate to book again . Thank you for letting us stay.

We stayed over Christmas, gorgeous house, didn’t need to use the car at all, very central location. Lyn was a great host, will definitely book again.

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

Very nicely kept property in a quiet cul-de-sac. We were in Liverpool for the football, but staying in Formby was great! Good transport links to the City and the house was very spacious and clean.

Great little character cottage suitable for weekends away. Clean and tidy and very private. Wouldnt suggest for more than a a couple with young kids as space is limited, but very good value and a very comfortable space.

We had an amazing time in this beautiful home and it was very well equipped. It is a gorgeous period property with log burners inside and in the well kept garden. Jacquie was responsive and this kind lady left my parents a bottle of wine. The kitchen had eggs, bread and butter, milk, tea and coffee and some condiments and cleaning products. I would definitely return and this home is great value for money. Thanks for the stay.

we had options to book several other propoerties for our guest who was staying for the week but katys place looked every bit the ideal location and didnt disappoint. we were working in ormskirk so was an ideal 15 minute drive to our fitout. for eating out we visited the plough in lathom and hickorys in hutton, preston... both within a short drive of the location. We have more work to do in ormskirk so will book again.

Joshua was very helpful and responsive. Stayed here for a wedding with my family that was in Formby. Easy to get to, plenty around. The house itself was beautiful, plenty of space, bedrooms and toilets xx

We had a very enjoyable stay at Dave’s place in Dalton. The location was ideal for us, as it is nearby our friends’ houses. The property was very nicely furnished and suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen was stocked with a few essentials as we arrived. A nice touch! The beds were very comfortable; the linens and towels were soft and like new. The property grounds are beautiful and close to public byways/hiking paths. We look forward to coming back and experiencing walks in the warmer months. Dave was very responsive. We had a bad storm and the power went out just before midnight. Dave answered our call and came to check on us straightaway. It seemed to be a freak event and the power was restored really quickly. Dave then called us a few days later to check if we needed anything else during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

We had a fantastic stay! We’ve recently had family move into the town and Hillocks Cottage was absolutely perfect for us. Paul was responsive when we had questions - we felt very well looked after. The house itself was immaculate, with a little kitchen that contained everything we needed for our stay. Everything was accessible and easy to use ie: central heating and shower unit etc and all pre-instructions were clearly communicated in the welcome pack. A perfect home from home that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone (and will highly likely visit again! 🙂)

We were a group of eight adults staying for 3 nights in May. The house is beautifully decorated and clean. great location for a few minutes drive into Lytham with many shops and restaurants. The dining table has only 6 chairs so we had to use a couple of stools. More seating is needed please. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great 2 night stay in Formby. After a 5 hour drive it was great to have tea/coffee and milk there ready for us. The kids loved the toys in the bedroom and our dog loved the large enclosed back garden. Joanne was very helpful and recommended parking for the local beach which was great. We were sad to be going home! Thanks for a lovely stay.

My 3 adult children and myself stayed at Julia's whilst visiting Liverpool. The property was within walking distance of train station into City. A clean, comfortable home from home. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Julia a great host!

Paula & Doug are such a beautiful human beings so so helpful and they were always responsive. Got a massive welcome back with beers and white wine and all the stuff we’ve got, me and my friends really appreciate it. No landlord ever has done that before to me personally so thank you so much! The house was just perfect.

Fabulous cottage! Rosie’s cottage is a wonderful place to stay in Lytham. It’s exactly as described, with a beautiful and peaceful garden. The cottage was cleaned and maintained to a high standard and had everything we needed for our stay. Rosie had kindly provided a lovely ‘Welcome Pack’ with snacks and drinks which we really appreciated.
