Cheap. Nice location. Comfy big bed. Room smelt a bit damp is only drawback. Good shower. Good location.

This was genuinely one of our favourite places in all of Sri Lanka. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful with a stunning view of the lake and just the sounds of nature. The room is very luxurious, from the big comfy bed to the beautiful bathroom with a hot waterfall shower, it was perfect! Madhu’s hospitality was expectional, we were so well taken care of and felt at home right away! We had dinner on the terrace by the lake both nights and it was the most delicious and varied local food we’ve had! The breakfast was also fantastic! One of the highlights was when Madhu offered for us to borrow her paddleboard of the lake where we went round the lagoon at sunset and saw lots of widlife! A truly exceptional place, would definitely recommend!!

This is a fantastic AirBnB house with a beautiful view of ocean, and with gardens, pool, and covered terrace. You are walking distance to two beaches and some good restaurants. The people that take care of the house, Nuska and Kumara, are really wonderful. They are very attentive, bring you fresh juices throughout day, and cook delicious meals. The breakfast is included but lunch and dinner can be served at cost (which is way cheaper than restaurants and at least as delicious). We spent a week here and that wasn’t enough…it really is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We had such a great time at this place with my family. Our kids could play outside and we adults had a chance to relax. The whole host family were just lovely. Food was good, we got something for everyone (not an easy task). They helped us with everything we needed and were really flexible.

This place was so beautiful! So many well kept plants and the pool area was so nice. The gentleman working there and the lady that cooked were so kind and sweet and always smiling and wanting to help. Food was delicious. very kind people, even offered us our room to rest in after a safari after our check out time, so nice! Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again and again and again!

If you are looking of an oasis and an awesome hideout away from the busy streets of Hikkaduwa you found your place. Traveling can get exhausting, chanakas place is perfect if you feel like staying at home, reading and enjoying some private life in your cabanas. The design is quite unique and one gets the feeling of being at home, as soon as Faust welcomes you.

Kumara is an extremely friendly host and was quick to respond to any concerns! The location of the accommodation is great, from the balcony you can see the sea. We felt very comfortable. Only the noise of the street is not for light sleepers ;) Sincere thanks for the two days!

Gorgeous place! I’ll be back next season for sure but with my partner and toddler. I saw so many couple with babies and young children, and groups of friends. Really nice place for all kinds of groups of people :)

Host Dilini and Chama were very welcoming and warmful people. we enjoyed our stay and it was pleasant stay at Jungalow Mirissa. Appreciate host for their excellent local breakfast. Would visit again and definitely recommend

We enjoyed our stay. Our host and staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The space is very serene, and the location is perfect - not far from shops and restaurants but at the same time quiet and peaceful. We felt very welcomed and very well taken care off.

My wife and I loved the villa and it was a bonus to be there during off-season when we had the place to ourselves as there was no other booking. Praneeth was very helpful throughout our stay and gave us a lot of suggestions to explore Galle and the nearby beaches. Sampath's breakfast fishes were delicious and set us for the day. I would recommend this villa to anyone visiting Galle because it is situated away from the hustle bustle and in the lap of nature. The pool was amazing after a day of adventure. I plan to book the villa again for my next visit with my family.

Great room, clean, everything works, linens and towels are fresh, the condo is powerful, there are no insects, they give adapters for sockets and a router if the wifi does not pull. The staff is trying very hard to help, respond to any detail and try to think ahead.

Great stay in paradise!

Very tranquil home, invincible Hu Jin blends with the surrounding green groves to see all sorts of birds blue red everything cute and lovely.The house is clean and very design.All the service staff were very kind and enthusiastic to offer us a variety of services, and during our stay it was Chinese New Year, who specifically prepared a local Sri Lankan festive meal for us.They are all very delicious, the cutlery is exquisite, and the color pairing is especially thoughtful.So we originally planned to stay two nights and added one more later.The hotel also arranged for us to understand the growth and production of cinnamon, and went to Cinnamon Manor's home and felt the local culture.I would choose this hotel the next time I would highly recommend you to come as well.

We felt very comfortable with Magda and Domi. The two welcomed us in a very friendly way and gave us good tips for the area. The room was beautiful and very clean. The common areas were very spacious and there was nothing missing. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time in it and around it:) and our daughter also loved the trampoline. All in all, it was the most beautiful place to stay in Sri Lanka.

We absolutely LOVED staying at NETS. The room was beautiful and clean and the common areas were comfy. The pool was great to use on a lunch break. The co-working space was brilliant, easy to access and you can book separate rooms for meetings. The staff were amazing! We had the absolute highlight of our trip. Shehan is an exceptional host who really reads every wish from the eyes. The resort is in a fantastic location and Shehan has organized an unforgettable, privately guided tour of Yala Park for us. We have seen leopards, elephants and many other animals away from mass tourism. The overnight stay in the bungalow in the middle of nature on a terrace was unique - we saw fireflies, heard the nature sounds and even got a visit from an elephant called Kumaare! Shehan's knowledge of the park is simply impressive. Unconditional recommendation !! He organized everything perfectly, from picking up at the airport to the tour and accommodation. I highly recommend Shehan and his resort! His cooking art: 5 star plus! Best guide for individual excursions!!! We stayed a week at Slow Life boutique hotel. It felt very safe and contained . Our room was lovely upstairs with a little balcony ,air conditioning and our own bathroom. Everything was very clean our sheets and towels were changed . The common area was available but when in the hotel we spent more time in our lovely cool bedroom. Marissa was interesting to explore . The southern end of the beach was a lot calmer to swim in. It was great watching the surfers at the northern end of the beach . The only thing that wasn’t available was facilities to cook our own food . But that was fine as there were so many lovely places to eat in Marissa. Our hosts organised a scooter for us to use . Thanks very much for everything.

Great accommodation. Simple room with exceptional views! Amesh is very friendly, helpful and communication was easy. The optional breakfast is very tasty and authentic. Beaches, restaurants, bars and shops are within walking distance. We had a good time there!

Great place to stay to explore Tangalle. Place is very clean and spacious. It’s also 1 min walk from a great beach with a very nice quiet seafood restaurant. The pool area is also really nice to relax.

Beautiful, quiet location with lots of wildlife (and some very playful puppies). The villa is made up of 2 very large bedrooms and large bathroom/wet room with bath, one upstairs one downstairs. Both looking over the lake. Lovely bar and dining area with pontoon on the lake and food is very good. Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly, always on hand for anything we needed, including transport. The vila is a short distance from the Mulgirigala Rock Temple which is worth a visit and only a few £’s to get there in a TukTuk and entry - you will be offered flowers and a tour at the entrance before you get to the ticket office (these are extra).
