Farmstay holiday rentals in Southern Oregon

We loved our stay at the cabin! Yes, the hot water had an odor and there were some mosquitos (only the morning we left), but we were prepared for both based on the description and other reviews and absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is rustic but very welcoming. We used the charcoal grill both nights we were there (everything needed was provided) and ate dinner on the screened-in porch. The best was kayaking/canoeing on the windiest river you’ll ever see. We took it upstream to the Kimbell State Recreation Area with its beautifully clear water. Would absolutely stay there again!

Peter and Nicky were amazing. We came out to see Redwood National Park, and staying at this slice of heaven made our stay much more enjoyable. They both made our stay as perfect as possible, the view was awesome, and we enjoyed many activities in the area, including the beach, Redwoods, waterfalls, kayaking, and the list goes on and on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We felt right at home…. With a million dollar view 😉 P.S: Don’t use Apple Maps to get there, it will take you to the wrong location, use google maps.

Peaceful , everything was up to snuff. Everyone enjoyed the eclectic art and watching the dogs run across the back field. Good host response. My bed was comfortable and water pressure was good.

Beautiful little house in the woods. Its a cowgirls dream. Lot's of really cool country decorations and a very peaceful environment. Would probably be nice hidout in the summer too.

We had a lovely visit. The surrounding area is beautiful and the nearby hills were green with sporadic flowering trees. So quiet. The house was a wonderful size with all the amenities and more. Games and puzzle and records to play and even a guitar. We enjoyed a fire in the evening and making meals. Bathroom is spacious and warm. Every wall had windows and something new to look at. It was a charming getaway.

Delightful rustic cottage in a private environment. Delighted in leaving the hustle and bustle and trappings of a busy world down in the valley. Serviceable wifi, and Netflix for entertainment was great. Bit of a climb up to the loft, but comfortable bed, and the view and cross breeze from the window was great. There were three fans but we didn't even need them. Fully equipped kitchenette was very sufficient and the microwave and refrigerator made it so we didn't even need the hot plate, or outdoor bbq or camp stove. But we love the deck so much, we will plan to grill next time . Hosts were great with recommendations for wineries and restaurants, and very with communications. Thank you so much!

Wonderful place to stay for a short vacation. Close to everything with beautiful views of the valley. The airstream was cozy and warmed up nicely in the cold weather. Had most everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable. Would recommend, especially if you are accustomed to staying in tiny spaces.

Christy was a truly amazing host. She took a personal interest in helping my daughter learn her way around the area and planning her move to Bend. We can't thank her enough for the kindness and hospitality she showed. She is a wonderful person who enjoys sharing her beautiful home with others.

Lovely place. The directions from the host are very helpful-our GPS alone got us close but not quite there. One quick warning-the bathroom doors are sliding barn style doors and don’t lock. This is absolutely fine if you’re with other adults-they stay closed if you leave them alone-but a child, or in our case, a small dog with separation anxiety, can leave you with some unexpected exposure that could be a little awkward. I was very glad we were meeting family, not staying with them. That aside, the cottage was lovely. It has a small fenced area that was awesome to let us and the beasties hang out off leash.

Christina’s cottage was even better than the photos! Everything was so beautiful and clean. She goes the extra mile for her guests and had the best little details that made our stay so special. From the farm eggs in the fridge, to the fresh baked loaf on the counter when we arrived, it really felt like home. She even left us homemade spaghetti sauce in the freezer and pasta noodles for an easy meal. It was defrosted within 30 minutes and we had a yummy dinner! The cottage was very quiet inside and we weren’t disturbed by any outside noises. We LOVED the fresh mowed pasture walk to the creek as well, really a gem!! We would 100% stay here again.

I’ve stayed at tons of Air BnB’s over the years and Dorothy’s place is one of the best! Any issues or questions that came up were answered promptly and kindly! Beautiful house on a beautiful property. Would definitely stay again in the future.

If you are looking for pastoral beauty - privacy - and a river to sit next to for restoration after a busy week you have found your place. We had a lovely time and I so appreciated the small fixings wether it be board games or books or a can opener handy. We had a lovely time and as folks who lived in the umpqua valley I have to say the outdoor beauty there is incredible - I miss it already!

Stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved everything about it! Toni helps us out so much and communicated fast when needed and answer to a question. They recommend us many different locations to visit around the area too! The home was absolutely stunning and we were allowed to feed the cows!!

Amazing cabin and winery! The cabin was perfect. It is very cosy with great forest views (even had deer walking by). It is located on a beautiful winery with outstanding wines...one of best tempranillos we've had! It's also walkable to a few other fun wineries and lots more just a short drive. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. I'd highly recommend checking this place and wines out.

This place is a little slice of heaven. It was so cozy and peaceful. I’ve never slept so easily away from home before. It’s such a beautiful drive to get there as well. I’m so grateful a place like this exists and that the hosts are generous enough to share the space with people passing through. It really felt so special there. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. :) It was so much better than staying somewhere owned by a big company running a chain of rentals, you can tell this place has a lot of love put into it

Fantastic quiet little cabin outside of town surrounded by beautiful scenery. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Definitely looking forward to staying again and highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay for a long weekend! Very secluded and peaceful with the walnut trees surrounding the property. Beds were comfortable and Sarah was quick to help us out when we had a minor issue. Our 2 year old loved all of the space to run around out front while the adults relaxed on the patio. Would highly recommend this to anyone who needs to stay in the area. Some good wineries within 10 minutes as well which is a plus. Communications was great before, during, and after our stay which we always appreciate. Thanks again!

Another 3 month stay in this absolutely beautiful "hideaway". Peaceful surroundings, easy access to the I5 corridor or the coast. Lots of wildlife walking around. All the accommodations you need for a long stay.

There are only positives. The house is clean, spacious, beautifully appointed with everything you could need. As others say, the on-demand coffee maker & the imported Swiss beans make for an easy, delicious coffee experience. The beds are comfortable. The showers have plenty of pressure & hot water. You can take a short walk to see chickens, llamas, donkeys, horses & a pond. It is a working farm. We saw hay baling. The backyard has plenty of seating for either sun or shade. Take that cup of coffee out to the Adirondack chairs & get some morning sun. We attended a family wedding in Jacksonville. A very cute town that is maybe a 5 min drive. This is the best of both worlds, close to a town but the quiet of the country. The house fit 4 adults & an 11 year old boy quite comfortably.

Just a fantastic place! 5 star accommodations! Wonderful location, above and beyond accommodations, generous gift basket, beautiful grounds, several things to enjoy and utilize, one of the best places we have stayed ever.

Michael and Mindy were welcoming and kind. The house was set up wonderfully to provide guest comfort, and it was a great place to settle into for a six-night stay. It's roomy and has ample support for anything one might need, plus there is helpful labeling throughout, and an excellent House book, to identify where things are located and how systems work. Their property, which they work hard to maintain, makes a vast greenspace around the house, and there's a lovely sitting area under trees, along with really nice porches. We met one of their dogs, such a sweetheart, and one of their sweet cats, and it was great to be near horses. The house has super views of the beautiful hills around Ashland. Staying here was part of what made our week in Ashland special. Thank you, Michael and Mindy!

Beautiful loft in a very rural and quiet area, and very comfortable. Anything you could think of that you might need was there. Julie and Tim are amazing hosts, always there if you need anything. The grounds are beautiful. They had farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator from their hens and they were amazing. I would definitely stay there again if I was to go to Eugene.

This stay was perfect. I wanted a peaceful, relaxing trip for my birthday and I couldn’t have imagined anything better. Between the hot tub at sunset to walking the beach at low tide, it was exactly what I wanted. The beach is more rocks (think tumbled rocks at a gift shop before they’re tumbled) instead of shells so it was nice exploring something different. If I ever return to Brookings, I’ll check the availability of this home first, it was worth every penny.

Fantastic experience and my family really enjoyed the dogs (Hi Willow!), goats and chickens. Orion was friendly and welcoming, giving us fresh chicken eggs. Had a lovely walk around the property at sunset with views of the mountains. Wish we had more time to spend there!! Will be back!!
