Very cute place! Was perfect for a girls trip away. The bed was comfortable and the views from the back deck made it all the better!

We loved the Sea Escape! It was much more than we imagined, and loved the big grassy area for our dogs to run and play and the beautiful overlook and steps down to the gorgeous, semi private beach! We will definitely recommend to others and come back on our next trip to the nor Cal beaches!

Exactly what we needed! Beautiful view of the Umpqua River and fall colors. The dome was so cozy and we really enjoyed having the wood stove. Hosts were kind and attentive. Looking forward to staying here again.

It’s just the right size and is so cute! I love staying here and my dog even blocked the doorway when I tried to move my stuff out on last day!! Ha! He never does that! Lots of windows, comfy bed and a deck to watch some waves in the distance- ahhhhhh

You can’t beat the location! This is our second time staying at this beautiful home and we can’t wait to come back. The beach is a mere steps away down an easy path. Many great restaurants just 5min away. The home was spacious and well stocked. Owner was great to communicate with.

The house was in a location that was private and easy to get to town for groceries. Views from the house to the ocean were fantastic. The house itself has a lot of stairs which can be a problem for those with ambulatory challenges. Waldport is a quiet town and less touristy, which we appreciated. We loved our 8 day stay there. We also appreciated Jon's flexibility in allowing us to reschedule at the last minute due to a family situation that arose.

Monica's townhome was perfectly clean and the hot tub exceptional. She was friendly and quick with responses to my questions.

I would absolutely stay here again. Wish I could come back just for vacation and enjoy the whole place. It's a beautiful, quiet location. The wifi is super fast, way better than what we have in the city! Jerry is lovely, friendly, helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

The house was great, very clean & peaceful & private…perfect for our needs… company’s response was good when i had questions or we had a few little glitches. example, the coffee pot wasn’t cleaned out from prior person & full of grounds and water inside the chamber and wouldn’t work period but when i told them they brought a new one immediately. I would recommend to people & stay there again!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place to stay! The amazing sandy beach is just 3min walk away, or the mouth of the river just 2min walk. And, the big backyard is just perfect for kids and pets! Of course the pool was a big hit with our kids! Great location to discover the beautiful nature around, while feeling like you are glamping at a great place. Really recommend!

I’ve always loved this spot would recommend to anyone. Quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in the suite room was huge the jetted tub in the room with a view of the ocean was amazing.

The view is unmatched! We had plans to travel the coast each day for sunset but found ourselves just wanting to soak up every sunset we could get from the house! The fire pit and bbq grill made for the perfect sunset vibes! The house was stocked with everything we needed and more! Hosts were very responsive and helpful! We loved our stay and would recommend it to everyone!

The views were absolutely breathtaking—you could hear and see the ocean from nearly every room, which made the whole experience incredibly peaceful and relaxing. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and our grandkids absolutely loved it—from playing on the beach to relaxing in the cozy home after a full day of fun. We had such a wonderful time! It was our first time to the pacific coast, and with the most perfect magical gateway to the beach directly from the property. The neighborhood was quiet, the beach was so much fun and beautiful! Two cities to enjoy just a short drive away!

This place is a hidden gem because of its location, charm and peacefulness. Michael was a great host, responsive and very accommodating. It’s a very safe location and the beauty of being on the coast makes it very relaxing. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Exceptional location, and gated access made us feel very secure. The windows were a little hazy, but the view is stunning. A beautiful, well-cultivated walk leads down to an absolutely perfect private-access beach. Linens and towels were fluffy, good quality, and very clean. The whole property was clean and well-appointed. Nice coffee options. There are three parking spots directly in front of the unit, and we always found at least one open, which made for super convenient loading and unloading of luggage. No stairs. The highway is close enough that it was obvious when heavy vehicles went by, but it never bothered us. Didn't hear road noise at night, and the highway proximity just means that town/shops/restaurants are easily accessible. Apart from that little bit of daytime road noise, the property was very quiet and peaceful. Didn't hear any neighbors, and the ones we encountered outside were very nice. I would rent here again.
