Kid-friendly holiday rentals in South West Wales

What an amazing place! This is something special. It is a beautiful thought out structure with spectacular furnishings and such a well designed space. Underfloor heating! That is a first for me and my partner and I loved it. The hosts kept the rustic look alive in how they designed it and even had a thatched roof!. Outside the cottage is a world of summer flowers, carefully attended by the older lady who lived in the adjoining cottage. Of course the hot tub and sauna were a great addition. I loved that they did not spare expense with the furnishings from the well designed dish drip tray to the fancy fan in the bedroom. We wish we could have spent more time here as after a few days travelling we spent one of our days lounging in the hot tub with a glass of champagne whilst listening to the constant bird chorus and watching the horses saunter around in adjoining fields. We enjoyed our stay the views from the balcony were fantastic. The house was very central with access to harbour, beach, restaurants and shops very easy. The stairs were a challenge.

A lovely home & amazing location. Everything was extremely clean, and bed was very comfortable. Lots of amenities and essentials, made it feel like a home away from home. Extremely dog friendly, the garden was the perfect size for our chihuahua puppy. We would 100% stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay. Easy to find and was straightforward parking at the rail station around the corner. The cottage had all the amenities and was clean and tidy with a good comfy bed. Walking distance to the town centre with plenty of places to eat. Isobel & Howard were quick to respond and gave great tips and advice plus a voucher to pick up a tasty loaf of bread at Loafley the local bakers! Highly recommended.

Great stay at Gill’s place. The view is even better in person. The house is very spacious and clean. Perfect for couples traveling together. We loved our time on the deck enjoying the view. Highly recommend and wish we had had more time (and better weather 😂) to enjoy the place.

Fantastic place to stay, as other reviews say it’s a beautiful, comfy space with lots of interesting art and books. The kitchen had great equipment plus oils, salt, pepper, different tea bags, tin foil, cleaning supplies etc so really well stocked and made cooking really easy. The two village eateries were good, the pub in particular was brilliant, full of character and friendly staff. It was easy to get to Whitesands, St Davids and the boat for Skomer. Parking outside was super easy and the village itself quiet in a good way.

What a lovely place to stay! The house is very quirky but in the best possible way. We had a lovely welcome from Ben and, Betty kindly let the kids feed the rabbits. The selection of books and piano were a lovely touch and made us feel right at home. It is in a great location and had plenty of space. The garden was divine and we would love the come back!

Beautiful cottage, exactly as described which made for a perfect week away. Lovely space for the dogs in a very rural retreat. Lots to do but you do need a car! Make sure you go fully laden with food and drink but otherwise you can switch off and chill.. Thank you Dorian.. we will definitely be back for more… just perfect ❤️

Had a great time in Pembrokeshire. Our stay with Liz was what I've come to expect from Pembrokeshire people, always warm friendly and very helpful and all done with a genuine smile. I will be going back, only this time for much much longer.

We spent two wonderful nights at this stunning location, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! The views are amazing and as a bonus, we spotted a couple of seals swimming in the sea most days, which was the perfect way to wrap up our weekend. The apartment was not only clean and tidy but also stylish and easily accessible. We can't wait to return in the new year!

Good location, stunning view from the balcony, lots of steps to the 4th floor, not a problem for us but just be aware. Clean, spacious. Sophie was very responsive and informative Would definitely book again 🌟

Sheila was a very helpful and welcoming. We felt right at home and comfortable. The weather was a little chilly so the heating was put on to make our stay cosy and comfortable. The views and the Alpacas outside of our window were a joy to see. Sheila is a great host, very kind and caring with nothing too much trouble.

I had a great stay and Sian and Gareth’s place. Sian was really helpful and flexible with checking in and out which was much appreciated. I was given a tour of the flat on arrival and shown where everything was. The flat was immaculately clean and looked like the photos. It was spacious and had everything I needed for the weekend, especially the kitchen which is well equipped. The location was peaceful and accessible for getting about South Wales. I’d definitely recommend a stay here and will be back!

Location location location. Can’t fault the location but any place with so many reviews will get wear and tear. Comfortable enough but on the good side of great. Host was fantastic so no fault there just feel the place could do with a refresh.

A really lovely place to stay in Tenby, I would definitely recommend staying here. The flat was very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Can't fault it :)

Fantastic apartment with lovely sea views. we loved the balcony, it was lovely to have breakfast out there, also an egg chair which was lovely to enjoy the view from. the apartment is ideally located to explore Saundersfoot. it's very walkable, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfy. we would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend the apartment.

Lovely apartment in a great neighbourhood. Steepish hill walk in (and out) of Saundersfoot but manageable and there is a harbour car park if you are less able and there is a bus service. Try to book in advance for restaurants as some are very popular. Well equipped property with parking and lovely feel about it. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay definitely recommend

The place was on the smaller side but perfect for 2 with all you could need! It was clean and felt like a home away from home. This place is nice and central to a lot in Pembrokeshire and I couldn’t recommend this place more - thank you for the small touches such as the milk in the fridge, Welsh cakes and nicely laid out towels, it made the travel day so worth it as you come “home” to that!

Such a great accommodation for spending a few days in the area. The apartment is clean, modern, perfectly equipped, comfortable, quiet and private. Easy access to the Brecon Beacons, as well as Swansea. Lucy and David are the ideal hosts: thoughtful, responsive, friendly and accommodating. It was my second stay at the apartment, I'll definitely be staying again.

We were so lucky to have been able to book a 2 night stay as I know The Shore is always booked up. The apartment is lovely and had everything we needed and some beautiful pieces of furniture. Less than a 2 minute walk and you're in the centre of Tenby, perfect location. Walking up the steps from the apartment to a view like that even when it rained was fantastic

A great little gem of a place with unbeatable views and right in the heart of Tenby. We didn’t use our car all week as the beach, restaurants, shops and bars are literally within a 1 minute walk. Perfect 👌🏻

Nice stay at Jacqueline’s. We have a little girl and she loved playing with the toys in the playroom and we ended sleeping in there. The place is spotless and spacious. Nice usable bathroom and kitchen too.
