Riverside Cottage

Our fully equipped seasonal cottage is on the Salmon river 15 minutes north of Malone and close to the Canadian border. We can provide info on visiting Montreal as well as the Wilder Homestead, fishing and hiking trails. We have an appetizer or home made soup waiting for guests on their arrival. We have bees and are pleased to show how we are nurturing our hive. Our gardens are beautiful and guests are welcome on both properties. As Super Hosts we do our best to make your stay memorable🌻

Very cute cottage is within walking distance to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, and nightlife. Good side yard with outdoor furniture. Enclosed porch for rainy days. Huge soaking tub. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We do not charge a pet fee but will charge for any damages incurred. This is a cottage next to where we live. We are self check in but you may run into us.

Getaway from the city to this beautiful cottage! Ideal for families with a sandy, shallow beach for kids to play all day long. Plenty of toys with 2 kayaks, paddle board for adventuring on the lake. Beautiful fire pit area with views of the lake and sunset. On the large deck there is multiple seating areas (lounge, dining) to enjoy your time with lake views. The family style living room won’t disappoint with TV streaming, games, fireplace, vaulted sealing and beams.

Saranac Escape

Saranac Escape is set on a hill surrounded by woods, yet bordering the village and all its amenities. We have a 3 season view of Scarface and the High Peaks, and in the summer it's just really private despite the great location. Decks front and back allow the air to flow in the summer. The main living space is large and airy; a great space to gather for conversation and games. And when needed, the gas fireplace pumps out the heat at the flip of a switch!
