What an interesting and quirky place to stay! If you want to step back in time with modern amenities then this is the place for you. Cygnet Thatch has a fantastically well-equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms, comfy beds and a huge log fire. A great find:)

Patricia and Alastair were the most wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable weekend. So grateful for how welcoming, helpful and responsive they both were. Super personable and the house was absolutely gorgeous!!

Really pleasent stay does exist!!. We surprised about the house, that’s fantastic for having a trip with friends.The common room has a lot of things to do such as karaoke, table foose ball, pacman and also kitchen that has everything including dishwasher machine. There are 6 bedrooms which is really flexible and comfortable for us to rest. Thanks a lot!!

We had a fantastic time at Jasmine Cottage, it was characterful and cosy with everything we needed for our stay. The garden was a real bonus and meant our daughter could play freely while we had a glass of wine in the sun. Location couldn’t be better, a 5min stroll from the centre of Bourton, perfect.

Had a girls trip at Amelia's place was nothing but short of perfect. The smallest room is a bit tight but apart from that, loved staying in Amelia's place. It had a well equipped kitchen and the beds/pillows were so comfortable! I'd love to stay here again

We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. One of the highlights for us was the enclosed garden—it was perfect for our three dogs to run around safely and enjoy themselves. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they had space to play as a lot of places advertise the garden as enclosed but they rarely are. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing break, and the hosts were welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with pets or just looking for a peaceful getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Clare’s place. The setting was beautiful, the house was exactly as described, and we all felt very at home there. Clare provided lots of local information which was really useful so that we could make the most of our stay. The village was tranquil and exactly what we were looking for - a local pub within walking distance and some great walks from the house. Clare’s place was clean, homely, and made for an excellent stay which three generations of our family could all enjoy and make memories there. I can certainly see us returning!

We had a great stay visiting family near overstone. The lodge is perfect, it has everything we needed. They kindly gave us milk and breakfast which was really lovely. The location was quiet and the neighbours were really friendly. Would highly recommend a stay here, we will again for sure.

I stayed at this property for two nights with 3 friends for a commercial filming project for my beauty brand. The pool area is a fabulous filming spot, the pool is heated so can be used from morning to night. We made use of the tennis courts, which was great fun and we loved listening to the noises from the duck pond. The barn all amenities and lots of games available to play too when chilling late at night. Great all round fabulous stay.

Beautiful place, beautiful location. I would thoroughly recommend. My daughter particularly enjoyed the pool and chocolate lolly left on her bed! Thank you so much

I only wish we could have stayed longer! Juliet is an incredible host; super friendly and extremely attentive. The property is amazing and to have had the use of the pool and the tennis court, made it the most fantastic value. One of my favourite parts of our two night stay, was that we could leave the property and walk for 20-25 minutes, across fields, to one of two brilliant pubs for supper and then stroll back at dusk - truly idilic! All in all, for me and my two teenage sons, it literally could not have been a more perfect little break from the city. Thank you Juliet and we look forward to visiting The Squadron HQ again very soon X

Absolutely beautiful—both the house and the surroundings! To stay in such a remarkable, comfortable, clean and beautiful, old place right in the heart of the cotswolds—it was truly lovely. So peaceful and quiet! Rachel was a kind and helpful host right next door. Make sure you pay good attention to her directions to get there—it was a little tricky. Also, the ceilings in the bathroom, living room and dining room really are only about 6 feet, with doorways and other things even shorter. We’re tall and we still loved it but it’s definitely something to keep in mind. The kitchen and bedrooms were all much taller. We’d love to return one day and stay again!!! Thanks you!

We had a lovely break here whilst visiting family nearby, Stuart was very helpful and accommodating. Everything we needed was provided, absolutely gorgeous area and all round welcoming atmosphere. Stuart even kindly installed WiFi for us- as signal is hit and miss in the area. Very clean Caravan as well and well equipped. Really lovely stay. Extremely pristine and private airbnb, perfect for dogs and so peaceful! If your only knowledge of the English countryside is from romantic movies, then this is pretty much 100% as dreamy as you would hope. Angela was always available and responded in an extremely timely manner. We have stayed in many places that claim the pool is heated only to be disappointed. This pool was so warm we could swim in 18c weather on a cloudy day. We loved everything about our stay and the kitchen is very generously stocked with knives, cutting boards, kitchen scissors, etc. We could not recommend this airbnb and the hosts enough! The neighbours are also so kind and warm and even suggested walking routes for us and the dog. Don’t hesitate and book in now!

We had the best time, the pool is amazing!! The time slots were ideal and work really well- great pool for adults and children. Beautiful cottage, lovely gardens-we felt so at home, nothing was too much trouble for Bridget. The children have now also found a new love for tennis! We def hope to return … 10 out of 10 from us!!

Nice place would stay again happy to give you a review. Village was very quaint and spoke and met a few people all very nice and would recommend it to anyone.

Had a wonderful stay at "Bonny Doon" ! Faye was absolutely lovely, constantly responding to messages and just all-round being an amazing host for me and my partner. The listing was exactly as described and looked just like photos, if not better in person ! We adored the cinema-like projector and surround sound which we used non-stop on our stay. The garden was spacious and beautiful, and we enjoyed wandering down throughout our stay to see the local wildlife. We will definitely be staying again and would 100% recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Northamptonshire area !! Thank you for such a wonderful few days away !

we stayed here for a couple of days whilst catching up with some friends. The pictures do not do it justice. The beds very comfy! Sarah is very responsive to messages and goes above and beyond - there were little treats for the kids and even the dog. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely recommend and stay again when heading back to the area.

absolutely chuffed with my weekend here. Keith welcomed us and was very friendly and talked is through the property and anything we needed to know..goes above and beyond ! place has been done up gorgeous well thought out whatever we needed was there and more. Food and drinks where left for us which went down well. Welcome pack if new to area with information. WiFi and sound bar on tv. Cute selection of games and puzzles. Beds comfortable. Highly recommend and would come again 🥰🧡

Had a lovely stay at Marie's place. Stayed for an event at Silverstone Circuit which was a 5 min drive away. Very spacious and lovely large secure garden for the dog to use. Had everything we needed and more.

The space was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Thoughtful touches throughout made it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and our host was communicative, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Absolutely lovely place to stay, we received a very friendly welcome by our hosts. The barn was perfect for our overnight stay with everything we needed and very clean. The garden is fully enclosed with a beautiful buttercup meadow behind which was accessible through the gate and far reaching views of the countryside. We enjoyed a lovely walk through the fields after breakfast which included fresh eggs provided by Victoria’s hens. Definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Victoria 🥂
