Sam's place is just brilliant. We only stayed one night on the way up north but found Moffat to be a beautiful little town. Sam has thought of everything you could possibly need, and the town centre is less than a minutes walk if you do want anything. We will be looking to come back again as we would love to explore the area a lot more.

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Kevin's. The whole experience - from the option to book instantly, to comms before, during and after; to our stay - was excellent. I couldn't recommend highly enough.

My stay here was fantastic! Our family absolutely loved our stay! The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped and exactly as described. The host was incredibly attentive and responsive. We felt at home during our entire stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend it to anyone.

This was a great base for us to visit family and friends. Lots of shops locally and quiet roads. My only concern was finding the property. When we visited there were no house names and if we had arrived in the dark our arrival would have been very difficult. If you know the area it would be very easy and very accessible. Overall an excellent visit and accommodation.

The cutest, coziest, little place to stay! Gwen was warm and welcoming, with so much consideration put into what a guest might need! There were plenty of suggestions on where to grab food, all the fixin's for hot cocoa (my daughter's favorite), and classic games to play. The garden is beautiful, too. I wish we had had more time to visit the area, we would have stayed at Gwen's the whole time. If we are ever back in Scotland, I will definitely check for availability here first! :)

My husband and I stayed for 4 days with our two big dogs (a German Shepherd and a Husky), and we’re so thankful the hosts kindly welcomed them. The cabin is peaceful, beautifully set up, and has everything you could need. Don’t worry about power—we only used one power bank during the whole stay, and it was lovely to unplug and enjoy nature. The cool box in the cabin is great for essentials, with a fridge room just a short walk away. You can even cool drinks in the stream behind the house (bags are thoughtfully provided). Inside, everything is clearly marked, and the guidebook is full of helpful info. The front garden is large, fully fenced, and totally safe for dogs, with a picnic bench where you can sit and soak up the views all day. The surroundings are stunning—woodland walks, hills, streams, and plenty of wildlife. The hosts were warm, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We honestly didn’t want to leave—nor did our dogs! We’ll definitely be back.

The location was ideal and allowed us to explore the local area. Michelle was extremely helpful and always responded swiftly to messages. The cottage was clean and comfortable with amazing views across the valley.

Wow! Jane’s place is absolutely fabulous! The decor is amazing. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need,, lots of modern appliances. The living room and bedroom are beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean with a great shower and good quality toiletries. The summerhouse was a good space to chill in the evening. Jane is a great host, very thoughtful and left a nice welcome basket. There is a driveway for the car and an enclosed garden. Moffat is a lovely town, great restaurants and a lot of dog friendly places, lots of great walks too. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Trevor and Angels's van was an excellent overnight stop off on our way up to Skye. The van was very well equipped, comfortable and clean. There is a great walk round the beautiful lakes close to the site; a great place to stretch your legs and walk the dog, after a long journey.

My family had lived in shawlands for 3 generations so to returning always a treat. To stay at Katie’s is to experience a true Glasgow tenement. Each room has its own personality so if you’re looking for a standard hotel with basic fixtures and fittings this is not the place for you. However you want a place to stay that has plenty of personality in a fabulous location, yet is cozy and comfortable this is a great choice. The bathroom alone is worth the trip with a bath that is almost big enough to swim laps in. 😃 it is also amazingly quiet considering how central you are. Shawlands will always be home to me because of the mountain of memories I have growing up there. Staying at Katie’s you get your chance to create plenty of your own.

Absolutely amazing place, was perfect for the Hen we were celebrating :) has absolutely everything you could ever want and need for a wee getaway. Clare was so accommodating too which made the stay even better :)

Lesley was a welcoming, kind and friendly host. Everything was perfect in the apartment and exactly as described. It was helpful to have her living on site as she could assist us with any issues immediately; especially with bad weather warnings and giving directions and tips about the area. She was flexible with the checkout times due to the snow which helped us alot. She facilitated our pet cat very well. We are grateful to her for sharing her beautiful home so warmly and generously. We highly recommend this location as its beautiful and would come again. We give Lesley a full, 5 star thumbs up for her impeccable service. Thanks!

This was such a great weekend escape. The bothy was really cosy and simple, sleeping in the loft was great fun. Really gorgeous views, and excellent neighbours (chickens, ducks, etc.).

We had the most wonderful stay at Hazel’s cabin. It was so cozy and peaceful. The garden was perfect for my 3yo and there were loads of lovely walks and even a playground nearby. We were in easy distance to access lots of places both locally and further afield. Biggar had some lovely places to eat - we followed a lot of Hazel’s recommendations in the guest book and they were all spot on. We also travelled into Edinburgh which was super easy as we used the park and ride service nearby. A little further afield was the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies which I would highly recommend taking the time to visit. Hazel was a lovely host. Always responsive and very welcoming when we arrived. We didn’t need anything during our stay, but it was well communicated that she was available if we needed her. The cabin was so beautiful and clean and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Thank you ever so much for everything. Diolch yn fawr!

This was one of the most amazing places we have stayed. It’s actually the first place we have booked via Airbnb and we were originally a little sceptical about how it would all turn out. However from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome here, from the beautiful welcome hamper to the private woodland surrounds it really was a lovely place to stay. We were all very sad to leave at the end of the week. Highly recommended to all my friends and family and would book again in a heartbeat. Truly one of those must book places.

We had such a lovely time staying in Emily’s beautiful cottage whilst we stayed for a wedding. So much so we want to book a trip back so we can make the most of the place. Super clean, great utilities- we wish we were around longer to make more of the fire pit/log burner. Hot tub was such a hit! Lots of lovely touches and we’ll definitely be back xx
