Pet-friendly holiday rentals in South Hill

We have come to visit 3 times now and every time we have, it has always been relaxing and peaceful. We always enjoy fishing, bird watching, and walking the property with our dogs. It is a wonderful and special place. Thanks to Andrew and Sally for being great hosts and sharing their special home.

We had a very nice stay at Stacy's place. Stacy was extremely responsive and very accommodating with our special requests. The house was very roomy, clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our time at Kristina’s place! Just about 10 minutes outside of Ithaca it made for the perfect hub to see all the sites the area has to offer. We particularly enjoyed Taughannock Falls and East Ithaca’s recreation trail (both stroller accessible). Food in the area was also amazing - highly recommend CDMX tacos and Maru Ramen as well at CBT/Ithaca Bakery! As far as the rental, we had our 8 month old son and two dogs along for the trip. Kristina had a high chair, tub and crib available for use! We didn’t end up using the crib, but the high chair and tub were extremely useful and made life much easier while we were there! Couch was very comfy after a day of exploring! Big back yard also made our two dogs very happy! Highly recommend Kristina’s place!

Ricky and Gabriella’s place was awesome! My husband, my mom, and 2 dogs stayed here for a few days to get away. The place was in a cute and quiet neighborhood which felt safe to walk the dogs around and it was just a few minutes from stores and restaurants. We went hiking at Taughannock falls and Watkins Glen which was about a 35 minute drive from the air bnb. There are also a lot of wineries around which is fun to do for the day. I would definitely stay here again!

Hello The description listed was perfect and exact. The interior decor is warm and homey. Perfect getaway. Kitchen had everything (we cooked a lot). All utensils/cupboards are super clean and organized. Grill and all garden furniture were impeccable.

Mallory was an exceptional host! Her home was clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — exactly as described (if not better). Check-in was a breeze, and she provided clear instructions that made everything super easy. You can tell she’s put a lot of care into creating a welcoming space for guests. You can't stay here, because we live here now! :P We couldn't have asked for a better stay to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary, back in the place where we got engaged & honeymooned, and later lived for 5 years. Sarah and Jeremy's place was the perfect home away from home with our toddler, which is all one level and very family friendly. We appreciated having the bathtub & the darkness of the back room when the curtains were pulled made for great sleep for our little guy. The front and back yard is safe and far back from the main road. An extra bonus is the amazing art by Jeremy throughout the home. The kitchen has all essentials and starter items. The house is a short 15-minute-drive from some of our favorite places including Trumansburg (Gimme Coffee, Main St Market, Sundrees), Hector Wine Company, Grist Iron, Watkins Glen State Park, and 5 minutes from Overlook Coffee. We also enjoyed the short commute to the Ravine Trail and other Finger Lakes National Forest trailheads.

Everything was as described . The place was very clean, had Everything we needed, lots of toys and coloring books and crayons for the kiddos. We didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, boats or fishing due to the rain, but, the area and the house was so peaceful and relaxing and gave us plenty of room for my grandkids to visit. Our trip was very pleasant and I would give more than 5 stars if I cud.

Annie’s house tops the list of one of the best and nicest AirBNB‘s we’ve ever stayed at. It looks just like the pictures, was clean, comfortable. It seemed that every need was thought of. There were paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry soap, bath towels,, sheets, Beach towels for the pool and hot tub, coffee, chargers for our phones. Initially, we were concerned about the house being right on the road, because of having our young grandchildren there, but it wasn’t a problem. The beautifully landscaped yard and deck were perfect. This house was perfect for our family. We spent several days hanging out at the house enjoying the hot tub, pool, fire pits and live music (we could hear from our deck coming from Two Goats brewery). The house is close to Watkins Glen Gorge, restaurants, go karts, mini golf, Walmart. 30 minute drive to Corning Glass Museum and Ithaca. The house is beautifully appointed and had so many extra special things that the host thought of.

Abra was responsive, helpful and gracious. She left some complementary snacks which our son devoured. Everything was clean and as described. It was a peaceful get away for our small family and Golden Retriever.

This was a terrific stay. The hosts communication from beginning to end was as good as can be expected. The home was cozy and well appointed. The property was beautiful and peaceful. 5 stars, will recommend and return again. Thank you!

This was our first AirBNB experience, and JoAnn explained everything, answered all our questions, and was quick to stay in touch and help with whatever was needed. The house and property are gorgeous! It was perfect for our family vacation. The house is well-equipped and spacious, with a huge, lovely porch. If you're visiting the Sayre/Elmira area, we can highly recommend this beautiful home.

This was our second stay here and it was even better than the first. They've added a restored Steinway baby grand piano to the house. If you play and haven't had the opportunity in a long time, or never, to play a baby grand, this would really put staying here over the top. I'm already looking forward to our next trip to the area and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.

With both our kids meeting up with us, the kitchen worked like a charm as they were very excited for a home cooked meal. This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

Our stay in Auburn was fantastic! Beautiful older home that was comfortably renovated and well kept. Unbeatable location right near downtown.

Lovely spot to stay while visiting Cornell’s campus that was a short trip in each morning. Extremely tranquil and beautiful this time of year. Great place to experience spring! Also is close to the Ithaca recreation trail on South Hill, which was easy to get to by bike.

We made a one night pit stop at Kevin’s beautiful home on our way to Niagara Falls. The house is located in a very scenic area and we were glad that we picked this place for our stay. Kevin was always quick to respond and gave us great recommendations to soak in the beauty of the neighborhood. We definitely hope to return again for a longer stay next time!

This is a beautiful home in a secluded, gorgeous location, exactly what we were hoping for. Even then, we were able to easily order in when we didn't want to go out and get to Ithaca for additional activities. The only thing I would say is that the basement is not finished (stated clearly) and for our little ones, I would have felt better having it locked for safety. Overall, our stay was very smooth and very comfortable.

Great host and great place. very well sitauted, ample parking. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive. Will stay here again.

Very close to commons, easy parking, super clean, very family friendly, i could tell every thoughtful accommodation had been made for small children, my kids didn’t want to leave!

My two buddies and I spent a long weekend fishing on the lake, and this cabin was absolutely perfect for our trip. It comfortably fit the three of us, was clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was ideal for easy access to the lake, and the price was very reasonable. We had a fantastic time and would definitely come back for another fishing getaway!

The house is very cute, exceptionally clean and thoughtfully prepared. I was especially impressed by the welcome sign, the kind welcome message, and the thoughtful welcome package. Everything made us feel very comfortable and genuinely welcomed. Wi-Fi is quite slow but overall, we were extremely satisfied and truly loved staying here. Roger’s place feels like home. This is the second time my family chose to stay here while visiting Cornell. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.
